(( Noticed some real people pics on Chance's bio so I changed Alex's <3 And Severus is TO Hawt~ Thank you ^^ anyways... -awkward silence- o o; )) Alex had been lucky enough to get a car of his own, not that he didn't want company but it was great not being reminded of his parents for once while he was on his way to Hogwarts. Hearing about his parents at all made him sick, having been abandoned at birth and all didn't leave a good image of dear old mum and dad in Alex's head. And on top of that they were Muggles, maybe that was why they had gotten rid of him. He was a freakshow walking. He sighed and looked down at his cat, Shade, lounging around on the floor of the car, at least she was having a good time. He pulled his feet up and resting them in the seat he was in, putting his back against the window and resting his head against the cool hard glas.s. He closed his eyes, waiting until he was back at Hogwarts once again.

Kre, who got tired of being by herself, browsed the compartments on the 'Slytherin' side of the train. She spotted Alex alone in his seat and knocked lightly on the door. "Hey Alex," She said with a small smile. Shey, her annoying cat who she constantly called 'Butt', mewed, clawed out of her arm and walked freely into Alex's compartment. "Mind if I come in?" Kre asked with a small smile. "You see, I like to make sure my cat doens't get in trouble," She said with a sarcastic/flirty tone. (Kre flirt's with everyone, don't feel special. xD)

Alex opened his eyes and looked up at the new arrival. A little surprised that someone had found him. "Um, sure. Come on in." He told her, sitting up a little. Shade lifted her head off of the car floor and looked at the other cat in a curious tone. She mewled a greeting but didn't bother to get up from her comfortable lounging position.

"Do you remember me?" Kre asked as she sat in the seat across Alex. "I think we had potions together last year, or the year before, I can't quite remember..." Kre paused to let off a small laugh. "I'm Kre, by the way." She smiled and looked down at her cat, who seemed un-interested in anything and everything except for the window seat, which she was now perched on. "Oh, I didn't know you had a cat.... What's her, his?, name?"

"Um..." Alex thought about it for a few seconds. "Yeah, I think we've had potions together every year actually." He said slowly, letting a crooked grin spread over he face. "I'm way better with faces than I am with names, but uh, nice to meet you Kre. I'm Alex Kingsley." He told her with a nod. He then looked down at Shade on the floor who was now sleeping once again in the sun that was coming through the window. "Her name is Shade." He informed Kre. "What's your cat's name?" He asked, he was a big animal lover.

"Really?" Kre said thoughtfully. She paused and gave a shameful grin to Alex, feeling a bit ashamed she hadn't noticed. "Sorry, I don't always notice things... I'm a bit unobservant you could say," Kre said with a small laugh. "Shade's a nice name... It's sounds almost dark... Anyways, her name is Shey," Kre paused and bit her grinning lips. "I call her 'Butt' a lot though..." She gave a quick laugh, some might call it a giggle, but Kre would never admit she giggled on her life.

"Thats fine, I'm usually unnoticed anyway." He told Kre, "And yeah, Shade has an odd sense of humor. She must think its hilarious to wind herself around others legs as they walk and try to trip them." He said. He listened to what she had to say about her own cat before he smile and raised his eyebrows curiously. "...'Butt'...?" He asked, wondering if there might be a story behind the name.

"That's probably 'cause your not a pureblood but still in Slytherin..." Kre said softly. "Not that there's anything wrong with that," She added quickly. Kre gave off a small smile and paused. "And yes, Butt... She never shuts up or stops crying for attention... It's not anything bad or anything..." Kre laughed lightly and blushed softly at her last comment.

"Uh, yeah, probably..." He said, looking down at his black fingernails. He was, yet again, reminded of not being a perfect Pureblood like all of the perfect Slytherins. He sighed, knowing that he was always going to be that way and tried to push away the thought when she explained her cat's curious nickname. "I think all cats cry for attention." He said, knowing that Shade certainly did. Shade looked up at him as if she knew he was talking about her.
