NAME: Kismet

LOOKS: Kismet is definitely considered a large wolf by any standards. Standing at 42 inches at the shoulder and weighing 190 pounds, Kismet’s large body is certainly imposing. Despite this she has a slim shape that is most definitely female, covered by thick, soft fur. Her muzzle is narrow and her legs long, giving Kismet a graceful aspect. Kismet’s abundant fur is a pale cream or near white at her paws and lower legs, darkening to beige-cream at her upper-legs and haunches. At the top of her haunches Kismet’s fur turns brown and becomes steadily darker on her back and around her head, with lighter cream and gray spots on her back. Her ruff is brown sharply turning cream right under her muzzle and it stays that way on her muzzle as well, steadily becoming white towards her nose. The fur right behind her nose on the top of her muzzle is light brown and darkens as it recedes to her forehead, though the fur around her eyes and inside her ears are also cream. The brown is richest right in the center of her forehead. The tips of her ears are an odd dark brown color, stark against the cream fur. Kismet’s eyes must be her strangest feature. They are dark amber, bright against her bland coloring. As mentioned before, Kismet is actually quite leggy and most of her weight comes from muscle, making her a formidable opponent in many aspects. On Kismet’s shoulders and on her left hind-leg are long scars, mostly visible on her legs, as the fur has grown thick around her shoulder scars. They are white and any trained wolf would know that they are the healed image of deep wounds, testifying to Kismet’s odd fortitude.

FAMILY:
Mother: My mother was a cold she-wolf who cared for her pups distantly. Her name was Destria. I did not know her well, as she was a complex creature, but many say I take after her. I do no doubt them. Despite her many shortcomings she was as devoted as she could be, never failing to bring us back fresh meat for meals once we got old enough and teaching us to be strong hunters and fighters. Fierce and independent she eventually drove off my father when we got older, despite the fact that we had no pack protection. Destria was an outlaw, thrown out of her pack for mating with my father, considered untouchable for killing another wolf in combat, along with my father.
Father: My father’s name was Bacchus and he was a kind wolf despite his bad temper. At a young age the she-wolf he originally loved was to be mated with the Beta of the pack. In anger Bacchus challenged the Beta and killed him. Because the Alpha was a kind brute he allowed my father to stay with the pack, but he was never to be allowed to mate and he had to live in the den of shame. Seasons after my mother arrived at the pack, bedraggled and tired, and when she saw my father the two instantly loved each other. By then Destria had been accepted into the pack and she was thrown out when they realized she was pregnant with my father’s pups.
SIBLINGS: My mother’s litter comprised of four healthy pups and one runt, who died in the harsh lands of Kilm’ore Mountain before being named. My three siblings, two males and two females, were Sikoi, Nayu, Rilla and myself, Kismet. Sikoi and I were the strongest and largest of the litter and we made it to our first year. Nayu was quickly snatched by an eagle and we never saw him again. Rilla made it for slightly longer, but we were born in the fall and come first snow she froze to death one night. To me, Sikoi was the leader and the wise one. I was completely devoted to him, and in turn, he protected me from my father’s sudden rages and my mother’s snappy attitude. Strangely enough we were the only two pups to look alike and the only way we could be told apart was our sizes and our eyes.

RELATIONSHIPS: A former mate who went by the name of Gryf, but he was slain before they could formally be mated.

Kiite is a tall wolf who stands at about 40 inches at the shoulder. He is covered by soft red fur that mixes into gold near his belly, neck and the back of his legs. He has the pure black feet and ears of his kind and a thick mane that can stand up to intimidate his foes. Thinner than many of his kind Kiite only weighs about 70 pounds but makes up for it with his nimbleness and guerrilla-style fighting. The tip of his tail is a distinct white and Kiite's eyes are golden.
