Rune sighed. Rose seemed so confident before but apparently it was an act. "Dusty can't climb, but he could knock a tree down if he really wanted to." He answered, trying to be patient. 

"Midday..." Dusty muttered. He wished it was closer to nightfall so he wouldn't have to feel so stressed waiting to transform. He looked down at his reflection in the stream, barely recognizing himself. His face was covered in dirt and his black hair was messy and tangled from sleeping on the ground. Not to mention his eyes. He shuddered and looked away. He already seemed like a monster.

((Sorry about not really posting, my dad found out about my grades and made me do my homework. Crazy school giving homework on vacation. >_< Anyways, this was my last day of spring break so I can't be as active as I'd like anymore. I'll still try to post as much in the evenings and before school as I can.))

Jackie rolled his eyes. “Well then, you must have skipped through time. Did you ever think of that? I’m no liar and we are in a forest surrounded by a giant bubble!” He shouted and hung his head. Now I just sound like a crazy lunatic.

Leah sighed. Dusty was changing even more but she didn’t want to let him leave her sight. Surely what he was becoming couldn’t be that terrible; at least, not as terrible as he described. She would try her best to keep him away from the others and be sure the others were aware of his appearance. She hated this day. She hated her birth. She hated life. She hated death. She might as well hate the world, this one anyway. She was sure she heard her brother yelling to someone but she had more important things to do. She didn’t want to come back and see that Dusty was gone. Instead she floated beside him, staying on guard. 

((I have to go to school tomorrow too. Bleh. My parents can look up my grades by going on this site on the internet which really sucks. O.O ANyway, i know how you feel. I have to do this math olympics thing. Boring! WHo would be jealous of more mathwork?)) 

Susan opene her mouth. Then closed it she opened it again, making her look like a fish. "Maybe you're right!" she clapped. "That would explain sooo many things! Oohh what's that!" she said, crawling over to Rose's leather jacket. "I've never seen this fabric before. Hey! What's in the pocket?" she started dumping out allthe contents of Rose's pockets. The lat thing that fell out was a cellphone. "Oooohh! What's this thing?!"

((Bye! Sleep tight! DOn't let the bedbuggies bite!)) 

Leah looked over at him sadly. Hat did she want to do? She was unsure. She still hadn’t mastered the ability to touch objects as a ghost. She began to work on it. She tried to pick up a rock a couple times and failed as her and went through. The next couple times, she picked it up and it sunk through her hand. She succeeded in holding it for few minutes and skipped the stone across the river, laughing triumphantly. “Sorry,” she looked back to Dusty, “I got a little distracted.” She smiled nervously. “I guess we can…” She sighed. “I don’t know what we can do right now.” She hung her head. She placed her arm around Dusty’s shoulder and she didn’t sink through. She smiled reas$uringly at him. “Don’t worry.”

'If that was true, I wouldn't be so afraid of tonight.' Rune thought sadly. He knew he'd be useless. His Necromancy depended on the materials available. He needed someone else died or else he couldn't fight. He shuddered, shaking his head to clear it. What a terrible thing to think. This forest was killing his humanity.

Dusty smiled as he watched Leah try to pick up the stone, laughing as well as she succeeded. "No, no, it's fine." He said, picking up a stone and skipping it across the river as well. "I'm glad you're starting to be able to control your powers." His voice didn't betray his own frustrations at himself for not being able to control his own powers. Still, he was glad for Leah. Maybe if she could control her powers, she and Jackie could enjoy their birthday once again.

     When they reached camp, Rose's draw dropped to the ground. Not litterally. "Who is she?" she gasped, staring at the most ugliest clothes and hairstyle a girl could have. Even her long black hair was pinned up into a tight bun. She swallowed hard, sweat forming little beads on her face. She couldn't bare to look at the girl, couldn't bare to look at how much of a poor excuse the for a girl the ...girl was. She pulled her arm off of Rune's shoulders and stumbled over to Susan, fealing sick.

(She freaks out when girls don't dress like awesome people. D:)

Jackie opened his eyes, now aware the others were here. I’m saved. “Apparently she “fell” from the sky and she’s from the year 1941.” He stood up and walked over to stand beside Rune.

((Gah, sorry guys but my internet died and now I can only get on at the library DX I'll try to get to the library as much as possible but I'm not sure how often I'm gonna be able to >_>))

Rune laughed. He couldn't help it. A girl from 1941 falling from the sky. It was too ridiculous! "Yeah, sure, and I'm the Grim Reaper!" he said, his laughter not dieing down. Still, this girl might be useful. If she died, he could use her body to fight against....No! Rune stopped laughing and shook his head violently. He did not just think that. Apparently, the stress was making him crazy.

"I wish that too." Dusty muttered. "Hey, how much longer till sunset?" he asked. He gave her an apologetic smile. He was the type of guy who always liked to know the time when he was waiting for something. He hoped he wouldn't drive Leah crazy by asking.

((Alright, that was my last post for tonight -_-; the library is closing soon, but maybe I can convince my mom to let me come here after school tomorrow to do my "homework" =) bye guys!))
