Alla ran ahead, swiftly sprinting, until she remembered. Oh, yeah. We must drag the carcass. Then she ran back, a little slower, and started to drag the old elk's body, hoping the other adults would catch on. Nala could easily carry the rabbit, while Shadow, Asche, and Alla could haul the elk. It was an abnormally grand day of hunting; she just hoped it would last.

((Oh my god, guys! My wifi goes out for a few days and I can't even read the amount of posts you've done! -.-))
Fall watched the interactions between the other wolves and the hunt. When Alla was dragging the carcass, he came out. "Good job guys." He said in a low voice, helping her drag the carcass. He dropped for a second to ask. "Who are you?" To the cub. He didn't recognise her, but he didn't really mind.

(It's fine.)
Shadow dropped the elk and answered,"Remember... This is Nala, one of the packs pups." She then picked the elk back up and pulled it a bit.

((Ha ha! Yeah, we did post quite a lot. My wifi goes out all the time, so I feel ya.)) Alla was glad to have Fall's extra help to carry the meat. This wonderful elk will be a day's worth of food, with the rabbit, Alla noticed. That was good. Every day counted. Alla beckoned for Ashe and Fall to help Shadow and her, before starting to pull the carcass a little bit more. Wow, that's heavy, Alla noted, before pulling with even more force on the tasty meat.

(( Lol sorry Wulfey!)) Nala looked back at one of the wolves from the pack. He didnt seem to know her. Alot of the wolves didnt. Most of the pups even acted as if she were invisible. Nala then looked straight ahead and saw the pack. Most of the pups were up and playing and didnt even notice Nala yet.

Noticing Alla's call, Asche quickly grabbed one of the elk's legs, helping her drag. He was a little late with the help, though. Noticing the other wolves in the pack. including the male who helped dragging the carcass, Asche couldn't help but feel a little nervous. He woncered if they would accept him if he asked to become part of the pack, and even how he should ask the question. His tail couldn't help but sag a little as the thoughts spun around in his head.

Fall hid a smile as he rejoined the dragging process. "You nervous?" He muttered to the strange wolf. He'd seen the wolfs tail droop and his nervous flicker of eyes. He also looked lost in thought, never a good sign. "Have you met anyone else in the pack yet?" He asked as he made it to the pack.

The friendly voice of the other male helped calm Asche down. "Not direftly, no." he replied through a mouthful of elk leg. "I remembr fheeing fhome of you in the difhtanthe, though." He added, his eyes moving from the male to the other wolves. "You fheem like a pack of nifhe wolvef, one i'd be honord to join."

Seeing the two males talking, Alla couldn' t help to giggle when Ashe began to talk with his mouthful. She looked on, ahead, seeing specks of wolf fur move in the distance. They were almost there.

Nala laughed at the two wolves talking and Ashe's funny voice. She then saw some of the other pups come towards her. "What do you have there Nala? Did you catch it or did your babysitters?" they teased. Nala drooped her ears a bit "No, I caught it myself! And you can have some if you want." she offered kindly. The pups just looked at each other, snickered, and ran off. Nala sighed and kept the hare in her mouth until they got to the pile of other food.

Shadow continued pulling the elk until they made it to the food pile. When she dropped it she turned to Nala and said,"It's ok. Just ignore those mean ol' pups. You don't need them." She then watched the loner and noticed how nervous he was and went up to him. "Hey. What's on your mind?"

Alla noticed Nala' s pup "friends" teasing her. A growl rumbled in her throat. It wasn' t fair! They should be praising her. A rush of hot anger overcame Alla for a moment, and she almost confronted the pups herself. Fortunatly, she soon stopped herself. It was Nala' s fight, not hers. Alla noticed Shadow and Ashe speaking in low voices away from the rest. Alla dismissed it. It' s probably leadership junk, Alla thought. She was never concerned with who was in the pack. Just how to make them survive.

Asche respectfully flattened his ears as Shadow approached him. This was it, the perfect opportunity to ask, or at least he hoped so. Noticing the others letting go of the elk and approaching the rest of the pack, he dropped the part he got in the food pile, as well. It was much easier to talk like that, after all, especially about something as formal as what he was about to say. "Well, like I said to the other male-" he interrupted himself when he noticed Nala getting bullied by the other pups.
Narrowing his eyes, he begrudgingly went back to the conversation. "I'm sorry, those were my pupsitter intsincts briefly taking over. Anyway, I have been watching your pack from the distance for a while now, and it seems llike a very nice one." he continued, deciding that it would be in bad taste to point out the teasing when he wasn't even a member yet. Besides, that was for the pups to solve, unless it got too out of hand. "And if you need any more members, I would love to join it."

(I'm on a messed up computer, sorry it took so long.)
Shadow smirked and said,"You don't need to show any respect to me. Also,I think it would be great if you joined our pack,it would help us out." She then waited to see what his reaction would be to him being accepted into her pack.

Alla didn't like to eavesdrop. She never intended to, but it always happened anyway. Everyone always talked so loud, and she couldn't help but listen. Though her nose wasn't much good, her ears were amazing at picking up any sound. The first conversation was between some of the elders of the pack. They were fretting. "We better not die this winter. I mean, It would be a shame after all these winters.." said one, licking her paw. "I hope not, but fear so. The signs..." The second elders voice trailed off ominously. Alla shivered. That wasn't a good sign. The elders were often right. The second conversation made Alla's blood boil. It was the young pups, only a few, trading gossip. Mean gossip. A cream-colored pup was laughing hysterically. "Ha! Caught it!" "Either it's roadkill, or her pupsitter snagged it for widdle Nala!!" Said another, who had cruel eyes and a worse laugh. A third, plump and blond, laughed as well. "Widdle Nala!" she echoed. Alla could hardly stand it. Tightening her jaw, she was almost ready to stand up to the pup bullies when she caught another conversation. Asche was asking Shadow if he could join the pack. When she let him, Alla's tail wagged. Asche was good with the pups, a fine hunter, and a nice wolf. With mid-winter coming up, Alla mused, we could use a wolf like him.

Hearing the positive response caused Asche's ears to perk up. "I-thank you!" he stuttered, unable to surpress a wag of his tail "You won't regret it..." he trailed off yet again, his eyes yet again wandering to the pups. Having seen Nala deal the finishing blow himself, their unfair remarks felt like small jabs, causind him to sympathise even more with her. "Would you excuse me for a second?" he asked politely. "The instincts, again."

Shadow smiled and responded,"I'm Shadow. That pup's name is Nala. The wolf over there with bad sense of smell and good ears is Alla."

Fall watched Nala's bullies for a while, his icy, unfriendly stare not amused. He didn't particularly like mean pups. When he heard that the other male was accepted, Fall nodded his head, laying down. He still didn't take his eyes of the other pups, though, a low growl rippling through his throat.
Getting up, he moved away from the pups, towards his den. One of the pups watched him, snickering behind his back. Fall barely held back a snarl. Pups! Why aren't they learning how to be a team. "They're as bad as Lynx's.." He muttered, curling up into a tight ball and watching Nala with a softer gaze than before.
