Zara's whole being seemed to glow at the mention of food.  If anything actually made her happy, it was food.  Sweet, salty, spicy, savory, delicious food.  "Yes, now you're speaking my language!"  She nodded for emphasis.  "You have any favorite restaurants?"  She herself didn't have a favorite, as she'd eat pretty much anything.  Except tomatoes.  Eww.  She'd pay anything for a half- decent meal, though.  It may not appear this way, but she actually had a good amount of money to her name.  The library payed well, as many people in this area seemed to loose their books.  And the late fees often cost more than the book itself.  Not to mention the fact that food, water, and shelter were on the house.  Bless the library owner's heart.  This was probably why Zara had the latest styles.  All in black, of course, as she just liked to wear black.  Not that she was goth or anything.  But now I'm just rambling.

Anyhow, she looked back to the boy expectantly, her blue eyes alight with the thought of something warm and edible.

"Chinese sounds great to me."  The eager girl barely finished her sentence before she started down the street towards the chinese restaurant.  It was only two buildings down, so she entered, knowing the boy would follow.  Her shuddering subsided, the heat in the building cranking.  She'd never actually been in this place before, and it was very upscale for a chinese eatery.  Traditional paper lanterns adorned the ceiling, giving the structure a warm and welcoming glow.  The furniture was made of wood with red cushions.  Raised up high, the windows had designs depicting elegant pink flowers.

A fragile- looking chinese woman stood at a podium, menus neatly tucked in the side pouches of her apron.  "How may I help you?"  Zara had to hold back a giggle at the way the woman spoke, having trouble pronouncing several words.  "You have a booth open for two?  Ah, hold on, he's almost here."  The woman nodded politely, her black hair pinned back neatly.

Slade ran after Zara catching up,he ran into the door.almost bumping into her.His eyes moved to the older lady who obvisouly worked there. "um table for two,miss?".She stood there then spoke walking to the center of the room,it seemed to stick out as the best table in the house with beautiful red and gold silk cloth laid upon it and bowls with chopsticks neatly set,nothing out of place,Then the old women stopped  pointing to a great  table with two wooden red chairs pushed up by it. "ill will be back with tea" She said abruptly.Then walked off behind a curtain.Slade  turned to the other side of the table pulling out a chair for Zara,Looking back to her smiling waiting for her to sit down.He was always taught to be a gentlemen.The world needed more politeness and respect he felt.

"Ha, that's cute."  The black haired girl muttered, taking a seat.  What was such a polite person doing in this city, where most didn't give a care about others.  Of course, Zara herself had been accused of such.  "So...."  Her words were muffled by the fact her mouth was already full of the free breadsticks given out to every table.  "About that rainbow thing-"  She paused, swallowing and glancing at the roman numerals in her pocket watch.  "Ten o'clock already."  She skillfully scooped up another breadstick, not hesitating to chow down.  "So that leaves just two hours.  Hmm...  If I were to get a color, I'd want red."  Her words were ill- formed, and probably hard to understand.  "But of course we'll see just how much of a hoax this is soon.  I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when their fabled prophecy is a bunch of lies."  She smirked at the thought.

The majority of them are talking about/ reading about the prophecy, which will take place at midnight (Two hours from now)

The setting is a city, the time is ten (Pm, obviously), and it is cold outside, with a light drizzle and a cloudy sky.))
