(( Lol, sorry, I just finished taking finals in school but I still have one more week left -.- Anyway heres my intro ^^ ))
Taylor woke up in her worn out bed and then began freezing. She hated this cold weather. Taylor looked at the calander above her bed, December 22nd. Tomorrow would be the 23, and that meant the Rainbow Prophecy would be revealed. Despit all the years she had been disapointed and never saw the Rainbow Prophecy come true, Taylor knew she would be staying up late as she did every night at that time of year. If this didnt come true, she would give up all faith she had in the prophecy. She then got out and went out of her bedroom and soon chaos began in the living room downstairs. Almost of all of the little kids were around the large Christmas tree, eager to decorate it. Taylor couldnt help but smile slightly as she saw the foster parents struggling to keep them all in order.
Taylor then went to the kitchen and prepared herself breakfast, her foster parets usually did it but they were busy at the moment. She opened the fridge to find 3 packed boxes of eggs, 2 gallons of OJ and some packs of meat, including some other ingredients. As soon as se started cooking her eggs and bacon, Jerry ,6, and Giovanni ,8, came rushing into the kitchen. "Can we have some to, Taylor!? Pleeeaaassse!!" Jerry begged, tugging at her sleeping shirt. Giovanni looked up at her as well, pleading with his big brown eyes. "Sure guys, wheres Kayla?" Taylor asked. Then, 7 year old Kayla came along, randomly singing Ring Around the Rosie. "Here!" she chirpped.
Taylor then began slaving away at the stove, though she was quite happy to make a meal for them. She felt like they were the only ones she really loved in this big house. The other kids usually just annoyed or made fun of Taylor, these three, though, she really did love them. After she finished the food she decided to get some presents for them after seeing some wrapped gifts under the now decorated tree.
Taylor then went to the bathroom to get ready to go out to the mall. She could probably only afford a few gifts for the three kids. She brushed her brown hair and put a longsleeved, gray shirt over her white T-shirt, then put on her leather jacket. "Taylor, can we go with you? I wanna see the Barbies they have!" Kayla exclaimed. "Sorry, I have to go alone this time Kayla. Tell Giovanni and Jerry ok?" Taylor said.
She then grabbed her skateboard and started going out the door. "And where do you think you're going?" Helen asked. "Im just going to get some stuff, ok? So just- leave me alone, I know how to be on my own." Taylor barked back. "No you dont, Taylor. When will you understand you're too young to be on your own. The world is a dangerous place." Tom said, backing up Helen. "I think I know how dangerous it can be.." Taylor argued, rolling her eyes.
With that, she stormed out and slammed the door in back of her and headed to the mall, skating down the streets. She didnt know why Helen and Tom were so afraid, the mall wasnt even that far away. So what if the world was dangerous? That was something everyone had to deal with in their everyday life. She soon found the mall and walked through the entrance, trying to make her way around crying kids and frustrated parents. Christmas, what a jolly time of year.
Finally, Taylor went inside a toy store and looked around. She knew Kayla wanted a Barbie, whatever that was, and Giovanni and Jerry wanted some Hot Wheels.
