(Wow, guys, thanks a bunch for waiting!)
Sora was lazily sleeping outside of her den, and she had recently woken up to a bit of a stir going on. It was not too far from camp, so she decided to actually get up and do something productive. The she-wolf heaved herself to her paws and trotted out to where she heard some angry voices. Then a hated scent struck her nose - Aurora Pack. What were they doing here?! She came just in time to listen as Avven asked what this lone Aurora wolf was doing in their territory and the intruder replied, "Hunting." Calmly walking out of the bushes, Sora found this quite interesting.
"Oh, hunting, you say? Don't you know this is OUR prey you're planning to feast upon? And that's strictly forbidden. Now I am going to ask you to leave at once, and we shall all escort you just in case you don't do as I say," Sora growled. "So GO."

Aminas was horribly disappointed to make note of Solaris' reply to Sakura. How could..? They barely knew each other! The wolf just went up to her and asked, and all of a sudden it's all 'I love you too let's live together forever'?! This wasn't fair.. Aminas hadn't even had his chance... No, he growled mentally. I DO have a chance.. as long as I live. Solaris was the only wolf he'd ever liked - no, loved - in his life. No other female even compared to her. Her beauty, from her tail with feathers to her gorgeous eyes and beautiful aztec-like markings, was one thing; but her personality was a shining star, too. With his day nearly ruined, Aminas sprinted into the woods, then slowed as he sniffed the air to check for a familiar scent.
He knew they lingered here. They were tough to find, but they were still in this forest. Aminas had seen bushes of them before when he was a pup and had gotten stung on one of the thorns in addition. Once the sweet smell was found, he tracked down the source, and before he knew it, there they were - several bushes of ruby-red, delicious-smelling flowers.
Roses.
He scanned the bush for the perfect rose, but couldn't find it. He needed the exact and perfect rose for such an amazing wolf. Then he saw it - slightly hidden, as it was encased in a green thorny barrier - the rose for Solaris. Closing his eyes he stuck his face into an opening. Thorns scratched his face, leaving thin red scratch marks all over his head as he went in. Opening his eyes, he grabbed the rose about a tail-length down its vine and snapped it off. Killing, or rather, condemning this pretty rose to die was indeed horrid. But it would be for a good cause... to him anyways. Aminas didn't mind the thorns that pricked his tongue and all over his mouth and not even the same ones that scratched him as he pulled his head out of the green pokey barrier.
Teleporting back to camp in a flash, he was back in his den. Right now, Solaris was with her new mate, Sakura. The right time would have to be sometime today... Not now, Aminas knew; sometime when Sakura and her weren't together, perhaps when she went into her own den or was somewhere alone and without Sakura watching. For the sake of the rose's life, he had to give it to her today so it wouldn't be brown and rotten at its presentation.
