Sara walked the streets. It was late evening and the sun was just setting. She hummed her favorite song while singing the lyrics in her head. Her blonde hair flowed behind her as her eyes flicked from side to side, scanning the streets. Her wings were folded against her back, making her look normal.

Fawn stood in an alley. Her tall, slim figure made her look a bit menacing, but if you had the right tastes, she would look like a pretty young lady. Her hair was tied up in pigtails that trailed down to her mid back. She extended her wings, flapping them slightly before pushing herself off of the ground. She stroked downwards quickly, sending her flying into the air. She moved quickly through the skies, her shadow moving on the concrete.

Dessen stepped out of his apartment and walked towards the city. His shoulder length blonde hair was tied up in a short ponytail. He shot a glance at p*censored*er-bys and continue on.

 Tap...Thud...Tap...Thud...Thump, thump, thump...

 Sunni listen as a woodpecker tapped it's hard beak against the base of a wooden tree. She pulled some of her short blonde hair out of her face, tucked it behind her ears, and scribbled some words into her journal.

 ...Sitting here I listen to the beautiful woodpecker above, as it drums against the hard wood the wind sings along making a music that sounds that no interment could match up to. The fresh air and the sound of the wildlife around opens my mind up wide and makes me forget about all my problems and worries, and I know that any second this peacefulness will vanish and disappear until next time. I say farewell to the soft dark brown soil below and all the leafs in the lively forest, I say goodbye to the roots of the trees and the lovely woodpecker above, and finally I say goodbye to sanity, for I know what awaits me will be nothing so peaceful and quite, but will be craziness...

 Sunni finished writing and closed her book. She stood up and stretched her two light blue wings and listened as the woodpecker let out a strange noise and flew off into the sky and for a minute Sunni wanted to do the same. She sighed and began to head back out of the forest and back towards the small city she lived in.

Elle sat, perched in a high treetop. She was at a place where she could see out, but nobody could see in. Her eyes widend and she pulled the branches away from her face to peek at a handsome boy. Dessen. She blushed, the pink coimg up brightly on her pale cheeks. She slid back, laying against the hard tree trunk. Then, she spread her wide Albino wings and rose into the sky. She shook her head. Then thought of Gag. She sighed. She didn't exactly want to find a husband forever, but it would be nice to find a friend or two, or somehting more...

She flew swiftly through the streets, then slowed and dropped to the ground. In front of her was a park with wild birds and raccoons and cats in it. She foled her wings against her back and her timid eyes looked twoard a tiny finch being stalked by a feral cat. She Gasped, then ran forward. She hissed at the cat in a bird-like manner, scaring it off. Then she picked up the Finch ever so gently. It was a baby, with a broken wing. She looked around, then pulled sme things out of her pockets and made a makeshift splint. She then held in cupped in her hands and started toward the large apartment complex she lived in. Her room was in the middle between Dessens' and Fawn's.

Dessen smiled at a girl in a tree, but she didn't see him due to her bolting off. He walked the streets, a loner. He walked over towards the city area and ran into Sara.

"Hey, watch it!" Sara's face was blood red, her quick temper shining through.

"Calm down, Sara." Dessen had known Sara for a while, but they were only friends.

Sara looked at him one last time before walking off into a random direction, almost hitting a wall.

"Well, Miss 'Pissed Photographer,' I didn't understand a word you just said." Sara stretched out her wings, black, blue, and red plumage surrounded her. Adrenaline began pumping through her veins, she felt a fight coming on.
