Stopping in his tracks, he wanted to know where was the owner(s) of the voices. 'A battle huh, well I better introduce myself', he thought. "Come Aqua, we're going to go another way", Frost said and started running towards the area where a small group of pokemon where talking. "I'm coming", Aqua shouted and took off after him.

"Aw man!" Grey exclaimed excitedly! "Both sound awesome!"
Artemis laughed. "He's got enough energy for both!"
Grey let out a little poof of fire from his mouth. "Yeah! C'mon Arty! Lets has a battle! Pweeease?"
Artemis stretched out her back legs. "Well... I did just wake up from a long nap buuut... Okai! Mind you though... Not sure how we'll do against a legendary." Artemis winked at Latias.

Latias giggled.
"You might win." she said, flying in a somersault. "Mind if we start?" Joy gave a subtle sly smile. She then muttered something under her breath, which nobody except Latias heard, apparently. Latias giggled again.
"Oh, and it's ok, I just woke up from a nap, too." Latias added.

"Alrighy!" Said Artemis as she took her battle stance. Grey came and stood loyally beside her.
"I'll warn you..." Said Grey. "We have some pretty awesome teamwork skills!"

Joy snorted, grinning.
"Wait till you see what we can do!" she said, making no effort to take a particular battle stance, and instead sat down with her nose in the air. Latias hovered, uncertainly...before unleashing a Thunderbolt attack on Grey. Joy suddenly burst into a run and used Iron Tail on Artemis, darting backwards straight afterwards.

Both Frost and Aqua appeared near a tree that was in the area of a Latias, Delcatty and two other pokemon doing a battle. 'Guess I'll wait until they are finished. I hate waiting though', he growled to himself. "Looks like they're battling", Aqua said. "Looks fun."

Artemis went spinning through the air, but landed briskly on her feet. The attack didn't seem to phase her all that much. Artemis and Grey together unleashed a flame thrower/dark pulse combo straight at Latias.

Latias didn't dodge the attack. She yelled out as it hit her...before turning invisible.
"You can't see meeeeee!" she giggleg. She then used Thunderbolt again on Artemis, still while being invisible. Joy used Water Pulse on Grey.

The attack on Grey was super effective! He winced and growled...
Artemis used Moonlight... Her rings began to glow brighter and brighter until a burst of light emminated from her. Blinding the other pokemon! Grey was instantly healed. He stood up straighter and laughed.
"Haha! Thats better, thanks Arty! And can't see you huh? Well I dont think it matters..." A surge of heat emminated from his body. "When you have to take this!" He unleashed a relentless Heat Wave attack. Hitting all Pokemon in front of him.

Latias used Mist Ball, her signature move, on Grey, and Joy used Water Pulse on Artemis. However, something else happened, too... Joy's Cute Charm ability activated when the Heat Wave attack hit her.
"This should be fun..." Joy muttered. Latias, still invisible, giggled.

Artemis could not avoid the water pulse attack and was hit. Grey however, did a rather impressive backflip and the ball of mist grazed his many tails that were flying through the air. "Muahaha!" Said Grey jokingly. "Epic dodge!"
Artemis shook off the pain from the attack.
"Hehe! Yeah!" She giggled. "So much fun..." She stuck her tongue out at the two.
He was all too familiar with the cute charm ability. He distracted himself by attacking Latias.
Grey leaped into the air and unleashed a flamethrower attack that he twirled about in the air, hoping to hit the invisible Latias. At the same time, Artemis launched herself at Joy with an Iron Tail attack. Sending the Delcatty flying.

Joy fell down and cried out as she took damage. Latias dodged the oncoming attack and used Heal Pulse on Joy. She then used Mist Ball again on Grey, while Joy used Thunderbolt on Artemis.

Artemis summersalted out of the way of the oncoming thunderbolt attack. Then Grey unleashed a flamethrower attack on the mist ball, causing an explosion that send both him and Latias tumbling backwards.
Artemis vanished into thin air and appeared behind Joy, then unleashed the final move of her Faint Attack attack.
"Haha!" giggled Artemis. "I perfected that move, perhaps I can show you some time!"

Latias winced.
"I...have...HAD it!" she snapped, making Joy jump. It was rare for Latias to raise her voice. Latias then proceeded to use Calm Mind to raise her Sp.Attack and then Mist Ball, which was powered up.
"Wow..." Joy muttered, before unleashing Thunderbolt again.

"Jeez... Calm Mind is just what you needed!" Said Grey as he briskly slided out of the Mist Ball's way. "Use an attack that's not so easy to dodge darlin! Hehe!"
Artemis was hit by thunderbolt! "Ooch! I... I... bzzt!" She became Paralyzed. But her Synchronize ability caused Joy to become Paralyzed too.

"THAT DOES IT!" Latias screeched at the top of her voice, startling Joy again. She turned invisible and then reappeared...directly infront of Grey...and used Mist Ball right in his face. The distance was so close that there was no way he could dodge. She then flew upwards and used Calm Mind again.
And although Joy was parylyzed, and her speed was lowered, she could still attack. She used Water Pulse.

Grey went flying backwards... "Ooooh..." He staggered to his feet but decided to stay back.
Artemis, stiff, fell over like a fainting goat. The water pulse attack grazed her side.
Grey yelled to Artemis. "I think its combo time sweetie!"
Artemis got up, shook off her paralysis and they unleased a Fire blast-Dark pulse Combo on Latias.

Latias dodged. She then teamed up with Joy for a Thunderbolt-Water Pulse combo.
"And just so you know...we haven't practised that." Joy called. "So we have NO IDEA what it's gonna do."

The combo turned into an angry roar of water and sparks. Artemis knew this would finish Grey, to save his pride, she shoved him out of the way and took the attack.

Latias had calmed down.
"Wow...wasn't expecting that..." she muttered.
"I was expecting something along those lines." Joy admitted. "Impressive how they shielded Grey from the attack...have they fainted?"
"I can't tell through the dust..." Latias muttered, her eyes squinting.
