It was a brisk winter day, and multicolored leaves were just starting to fall from the trees. Despite the cold temperatures, female students of Anderson Preparatory Academy were required to wear red-and-blue plaid miniskirts and short-sleeved polo shirts as uniforms. So Lindsay was required to walk to school, half-naked in the freezing cold weather, with several books stacked up in her feeble arms.
Even during this trial, Lindsay was as cheerful as ever. She admired the beautiful cerulean sky and the dewy chartreuse gr*censored*. She sang her favorite Christmas tunes, and noted the birds and flowers of winter. Soon, she was there.

Several neat, tall columns of white marble stood erect around the beautiful courtyard of APA, red brick walls encasing the area, ornate topiaries lining the boundaries. It would have been so beautiful if it weren't such a dreadful place to attend.

Matthew sat on the large badminton court, pretending to watch a pre-school game, while really texting one of his friends from the football team about his breakup the night before. There were a few choice words that demonstrated the height of Matthew's vocabulary, to say the least, but Matthew wasn't in love with the girl anyway. Matthew, being the star linebacker for APA's football team, was expected to go out with cheerleaders. That was his fifth cheerleader he had gone out with this year, and still no sparks.

Morty glided into the school's tiny parking lot easily. Ah, Morty. Eli thought to his beloved hearse. You never fail me. With the hint of a crooked smirk on his face, Eli pushed away his bangs as he stepped out of the car. All he needed was his black general brand bookbag, and he was good.

His golden guitar pick necklace swayed from side to side to fit Eli's stride. Eli's eyes flitted around from wall to wall, examining everything. The people, the school, the lockers. It was all important. So far, Eli wasn't a huge fan of the school. How can school dictate how I choose to express myself? He had just gotten over a suspension for improper suit. The rules here were thick and heavy. Eli didn't like that.
