Silent shook his head. "It's not that...... It's just......" He sighed and looked at his sister. Cyri looked away. "We never wanted to be..... vampires....." He said quietly.

Looking back and forth between Cyri, Silent, and Lyora, Kyrian felt a bit lost. He learned that Cyri could speak with Silent in a langue that consisted of nothing more than clicks, and growls, and that Silent had a very complicated relationship with Lyora. Then talk of death appeared and Cyri had gripped his hand so tightly that blood had been drawn. The pain was tolerable, so he didn’t say anything. When he was finally starting to relax, Kyrian felt a hand between his shoulder blades.

“Easy,” Adrik whispered.

There was so much power in that one word that Kyrian couldn’t help but settle down. A faint tingle crept up his spine. “What are you doing?” he barely murmured, not wanting to get Cyri’s attention.

Adrik’s hand shimmered dimly indigo as he summoned his power. “I’m calling back the magic, so your wings will retract. I will teach you how to do this on your own soon enough, but for now I will do it.” The defenseless, soft downy feathers seemed to swallow up the powerful, sleek gliding feathers until all that was left were a few at the nape of his neck. All avian people had them, and Adrik shivered when he remembered his playmate petting them. It was an odd feeling, but one he loved. To put yourself into such a vulnerable state as to bear your neck, turn your back, and relax. Adrik’s father had beaten the craving out of him though. A warrior must never put himself into the care of another, even his lifemate. Jerking away from Kyrian, Adrik rubbed his hand on his leather pants as if to get rid of a certain feeling. His vivid violet gaze locked onto the one they called Trinity.

Slowly, Silent relaxed. He breathed out and breathe din, then  stiffened again. "Not.... the smartest thing to do....." he growled through clenched teeth. He lifted his head to get away from the smell of her blood, so close. So warm, beating frantically through her veins, so sweet..... "Stop." He growled. Instantly, he was gone, leaning against a tree, his hand clawing the bark as he fought to control his blood lust. Cyri relaxed as well and she turned to Kyrian only to see who was behind him. A ragged growl ripped from her chest. "I don't care who he is." She growled. " He gets any more idiotic, I'm going to kill him."She growled.

(( Vampire's are very protective of their mate's. And it's sort of dangerous if the female is the vampire, seeing as their stronger than male vampires. ))

Trinity stared as Adrik made Kyrian's wings seemingly shrink and disappear. Something in Adrik's eyes hardened. Trinity felt a wave of pity wash over her towards Adrik, though she didn't know why nor where it had come from. She was feeling strange. It was most likely lack of sleep and the events that had happened so quickly in one night... 

 One night Trinity thought to herself. She looked to the horizon. A faint, faint line of barely any light was just beginning to show [right? The night can't last forever O.O]. It had yet to turn pink, the sun yet to rise and bathe everything in it's golden light. She knew that Silent and Cyri, probably, would have to find someplace to retreat to that was shaded, or something of the sort. 

And then all of a sudden Trinity couldn't think. Adrik was staring at her. Trinity stared back, her eyes locked with his. It was unnerving. Why was his attention so suddenly turned to her? She dared not bl
ink nor make any move. Something felt strange about his gaze. But she was just a slave girl. Well, a used-to-be slave girl, but still, one who had no importance nor value. She opened her mouth to speak.

"Yes?" was all she said. 

"Guys, don't, it's a horrible idea!" Rosalie protested, trying to pul the closest vampire, Cyri, towards the barn. She was immovable, rooted to the spot. Her arm was hard and nonhuman, as with every other vampire.
