(Two minutes ago…)

Lying against the stall door, all Adrik wanted to do was sleep, but it evaded him. The morning sun was calling to him, and his mind was racing. He also knew that with the leeches racing around without someone to control them he wouldn’t rest. I told Trinity that I would protect her, and I will at all costs. He knew that these sibling leeches held onto what was left of their humanity, but that could change in an ill moment. The wrong words could be a death sentence. The female, Cyri, even told me so…multiple times that she would kill. With a sarcastic huff, Adrik sneered in disgust. To talk of death and killing so simply, hideous creatures, they only wish to destroy what they can’t become. Getting to his feet, Adrik decided to find out where Kyrian and the leech were going. Glancing at Trinity, Adrik murmured a protection spell. It wasn’t too powerful, but it would awaken her if danger was coming. Turning on his heels, Adrik slipped silently out of the barn. Tracking the leech was surprisingly easy, but the second pair of tracks helped as well. Treading lightly, Adrik spotted Cyri crouched in an extremely aggressive pose with Kyrian behind her. At least she isn’t mad enough to try and kill the one she claims to love. Jumping up he grabbed a branch and crouched above them. Perfectly hidden. Adrik was at home in the trees, and he used his falcon eyes to search the area. He found a cougar resting at the edge of her den. “Horrific creatures are going to kill the magnificent beast when they have no right to steal life.” He growled nearly inaudibly. He willed the cougar to leave, but she ignored his plea.

A slight movement caught Adrik’s eye, and he saw Silent moving. Then both Cyri and Silent were leaping. The clashed like territorial Red-wing Black birds, snarling and snapping. “Hideous, revolting creatures.” He spat as the continued to fight, oblivious to the fact that they were kin. Though, he was glad that the lioness got away free.

Cyri roared and finally, she lay still. Silent was pinned beneath her. They glared at each other with narrowed red eyes. She bared her fangs and a slow hiss escaped her lips. Silent hissed as well, but it held less anger in it. The blood from Silent's side wound pooled on the ground. The blood from Cyri's shoulder wound dripped onto Silent's chest. Silent stared at her blood and Cyri stared at his. Suddenly, SIlent broke into a series of clicks and whim,pers. Cyri didn't respond. Silent let out an impatient hiss that ended in a click. She clicked back harshly and she raked her claws in teh ground. They glared a teach other for a few more seconds before slowly, Cyri got off Silent, freeing him. She stumbled adn elaned against a tree, rbeathing heavily. Her eyes slowly returned to an icy blue with a red tinge to them and her fangs retreated. Silent lay on the ground, breahting hard. His eyes returned to an icy blue as well, the same tint of red to them. his fangs retreated and he took in a sharp breath. "Maybe..... We should hunt and different times......" Silent whispered. Cyri chuckled weakly and she slid to the ground, weak from the loss of blood. Silent's eyes half closed, his own blood pooled thickly around his side.

Cyri gazed at him and horror entered her eyes. She took a step away from him, but stumbled. She started to sob, but no tears came. Just that burning sensation in her eyes. "Kyrian.... Oh my god.... Kyrian....." She sobbed. She dropepd to her knees, her legs too weak to hold her know. She had acted like a monster in front of him. But isn't that what she was? A monster? Siad a bitter thought in her head.

Silent looked up at Arik. He tried to smile and failed. He laid back down. "If you wish." He said quietly. He knew Adrik didn't like Cyri, but it still irritated him slightly that, although they had just fought like, well, vampires. She was still his sister.

"Silent, oh my god, are you okay?!" Lyora shrieked, pushing the shifter aside and embracing Silent, saying in a softer, gentler voice, "Please, never do anything like that again... You could have been killed... I could have lost you... I would never be able to bear your p*censored*ing..." She burried her face in the area between his neck and shoulder, a few small tears escaping. "I never want to see you fight like that again..." 

OOC: -has seen like every Miyazaki movie ever created... Whisper of the Heart, Porko Roso, Kiki's Delivery Service, Castle in the Sky, Nausicaa, Ponyo, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke... You name it.. I've seen it if it's by Miyazaki -crazed, obsessed look in eyes- @_@ Or Isou Takahata. He's cool too. Grave of the Fireflies and Pom Poko for the win..

“Cyri,” he cooed softly. Kyrian’s heart trembled like a shaken leaf when he saw Cyri slink away from him. Fear like pain in her eyes. Reaching his hands out to her, as if approaching a spooked animal, he whispered, “Don’t run. You’re hurt, and I can help you.” Stroking her cheek softly, the briefest touch, Kyrian stared into her eyes. They were so different, but the same. The one underneath is the same, deep down she is all the same. But something clouds over the top; I have to find a way to get rid of it. Nonetheless, Kyrian knew that this might be a changed Cyri, the one to stay, but he knew that he would lover her the same. “Easy,” he murmured gently, rolling up his left sleeve, which covered his tattoo, and bared his wrist. Not offering it to her yet, he found his knife. The bite of the blade was sharp, but quick. Blood welled up like the stuffing bursting from a seam, “Take a drink.” He hoped that she wouldn’t have to use teeth because of the already open vein, but he was prepared anyway. Kyrian would endure anything for Cyri.

OOC: Erm... The Cat Returns. Though Miyazaki wasn't really the director, I think he might have produced that one and he was the one who came up with the story concept, I do believe. Watch Whisper of the Heart before The Cat Returns though. Well, you don't really need to. I watched The Cat Returns first. There's just a few characters in Whisper of the Heart that are in The Cat Returns. ^^

Hehe I'm not really patient. I'm actually hanging in suspence. I'm holding on strong for now but I feel like I'm going to fall any second. O.O

Silet grimaced. "It stung a bit, but thank you. It no longer hurts like before." He said quietly. He grinned weakly at Adrik. He liad his head back down and closed his eyes, trying to regain his breath.

Cyri stare din horror at his wrist. Her eyes had become narrowed and red, but her teeth didn't show. He pushe dhis wrist away. "No Kyrian.... Please don't.... I won't be able to stop!" She whimpered. She gasped for breath, wincing in pain.
