Silent looked at Trinity and smiled sadly. "Sometimes, I wonder why she even love sme. For a being a..... a leech." He said, wincing at the word. ~
Damascus laughed and suddenly, Cyri collapsed. Damascus cursed and he knelt by her side. he sighed. "Too much..... It was too much." he sighed againa nd looked at Kyrian. "I don't have to ask for what I can take. She was mine in the first place anyway." he growled. He carefully cradled Cyri in his arms and stood up. He gazed at Kyrian, then at Zephyra. "Well. It was fun chatting with you, avainmelko, and Zephyra. But now, i really should be going." He said. A small frown flitted past his face as he gazed at Cyri. Then the calm mask was back and he smiled a them."It would mack no sense in fighting either. If you follow me, i'll break something that can't be repaired. If your try to fight me, I'll only amuse you with an illusion." He said simply. his voice turned cold and the mask fell away to reveal what he truly was. His eyes glowed red and his lip curled in distaste. but when he looked at Cyri, the mask came back up and his face softened. "Widlcat...." he crooned. Then he turned and raced away, running faster than a vampire. As he ran, Damascus muttered a spell over Cyri. Cyri stirred and awoke, her eye shalf open. "Now, Wildcat.... Sall we hunt?" He asked in a quiet voice. Cyri yawned and smiled sleepily baring her vampire fangs. Damascus grinned and he continued running, Cyri cradled firmly in his arms. The Spell: Awake, Vampire Queen, from your eternal slumber within this minor vampire

Lyora squeeled as Adrik took off, not being used to the feeling that nothing is underneath your feet. Her eyes squeezed shut, her fingernails dug like claws into his arm. She relaxed after a minute though, first cracking one eye open and than the other. They were speeding through the skies to the area where their friends were, and the view was amazing. "It's beautiful", she breathed, smiling.

OoC: Oh! Wolfie, I can hear the Don-don-don!! ::goes to make a post:: As the piercing pressure of Lyora’s nails decreased, Adrik looked at her. She was fairing better than he had expected. That is a good thing, I’m glad I didn’t have to deal with a screaming package. When she barely breathed, “It’s beautiful.” Adrik knew with all his heart that it was true, if anything beautiful wasn’t good enough to describe this view, this feeling. Blinking into the vision of a falcon, Adrik scanned the forest below. He spotted two blonde heads and immediately dived for them. In that moment, he had forgotten about Lyora and now hoped that she wouldn’t shriek like a banshee. Adrik felt a wicked grin appear on his face as the high speed winds made his braid and hair stream behind. His wings were nestled together on his back, fully closed. As his upper body sped closer and closer to the ground, Adrik felt his muscles tense with exhilaration. Now! Snapping them out full length, Adrik felt as though the breath was slammed from his chest as they came to a nearly full stop mere feet from the ground. With a defeated sigh, Adrik felt the first crunch of gra.ss under his boots. Looking at Lyora, he decided to hold onto her until she pulled away. Wouldn’t want her to fall, he thought bemusedly. Looking around the clearing he noted that this threat was no where to be seen, but neither was the girl named Cyri. “Where is this Damascus? And Cyri?” he asked. Zephyra just sat there. Stunned. He really took her? He took Cyri, and just left! Shivering, Zephyra knew that she was feeling some of Kyrian’s emotions. Her nails bit into the bark as she tried to separate herself from him. But there was so much rage, and so much horror. “Oh, Kyrian…” she whispered. When Kyrian continued to stand with his face down, so utterly still, Zephyra decided to finally act like her warrior brother. Getting up she made a resolve to never cower the way she did just then ever again. Instead she walked with her head held high, and said, “Damascus, this vampire king, has taken Cyri. He threatened us, saying that to follow means he will break things that won’t heal,” like Kyrian’s heart, but at this rate it’s already lost, “Or he will make you suffer under his illusions.” Twisting the front of her beige tunic, Zephyra looked at Adrik then Lyora, “I think we should go.”

Lyora's breath was quite literally taken away as Adrik began to drop like a stone. She smiled, adrenaline coursing through her. She squealed as Adrik brought them to an abrupt halt, alughing as he brought them back to solid ground. She let Adrik hold on to her for a minute, knowing that if she pulled away her legs would fail her. She heard what Zeyphra told them and cursed mentaly. "He got her?" she asked incredulously, "This is VERY bad. We are going to go rescue her, if only to save Silent and Kyrian from much heartache."

“Sometimes, I wonder why she even loves me. For be a—a leech,” Silent replied. Trinity felt a pang of sadness for the once slave boy. He had suffered much. She could tell. She could hear it in the voice and the way he acted. And now he had turned into the one thing that had caused him so much pain. “Silent,” Trinity said, “Lyora loves you for who you are. It does not matter to her whether or not you are a human. I know for a fact that there are some vampires out there that are good. You are a living example of that. Only vampires like Jaguar deserve being called ‘leeches’, for that is what they actually are. They create nothing but sadness and death. But you try not to.” She looked to the sky through a crack in the barn’s roof. A bit of sunlight was streaming through. It was strange how badly it would hurt Silent if he stood under it. Trinity sighed. She hoped that would help Silent. She felt that he was not bad, and hoped he would come to think the same, and not to shrink back from the part of him that he detested so.

Silent turned and smiled sadly at Trinity. "Your a good girl Trinity. I'm happy that I had a chance to help you out." he sai dwiht a sad smile. He turned away from her though. His hand trembed as it went to his throat. He shut his mouth with a snap and he stopped breathing. His throat burned like fire. He cursed inwardly. He was a fool. He shouldn't of p*censored*ed out. He needed to hunt. Or else he'll end up hunting someone he loved.

Kyrian’s hands trembled as he thought of never seeing Cyri again. All he wanted to do was throw things, scream his rage, and curl up in a corner, but none of those things would help. So instead of doing any of those things, Kyrian took a deep breath and lifted his head high. Looking at Zephyra, Adrik, and Lyora, Kyrian said, “I really do appreciate your concern.” His cold, pale blue eyes held Zephyra’s deep blue gaze for a moment before he completely released all of his anger. “But I want Lyora and you to go back.” Looking at Adrik, Kyrian hoped that he understood. “I don’t want to lose anyone else. Don’t even try to fight this because I will have you two back in safety.” “In other words,” Adrik chimed in, “Kyrian doesn’t want Silent to lose you, Lyora, and he doesn’t want to even think about losing you, Zephyra.” “I’m not going to just stand here and wait!” Zephyra fired back. Pulling Zephyra into a hug, Kyrian sighed. “I don’t expect you to. Just please don’t come with me. I can’t lose you…again.” He knew that her eyes would be darker in anger, to the point where they were almost black but just a shade lighter to keep them blue. When she acted as if she would pull away, he held her tighter, “Please. Find Alell,” he begged uselessly, “The poor filly probably doesn’t even know what’s going on.” Kyrian felt her exasperated sigh and knew that he won, but only because of the filly. She always did have a heart for animals. Looking at Lyora, Kyrian hoped that she would understand and go back to Silent.

"Kyrian, I will not go back", Lyora said firmly, frowning slightly, "I never planned on fighting Damascus, but I also promised Silent that I would bring his sister back! If I go to him without her, he will never trust me again! I would never trust myself again. Please, please don't make me go back without having accomplished my goal." She looked at Adrik, hoping that he would understand. "I fear that it would be more painful for Silent to loose his sister, the one whom he is most closely bonded to, than to loose me, his human lover. Especially if he lost Cyri to Damascus, the vampire king." "They can't make me go back empty-handed, I'll feel like such a failure... I can't disappoint Silent, not again. I won't return to his side until I've rescued Cyri!" ((I just realized why my posts are always so short. Most of it is dialouge. XD I need to put in more deion, more thoughts. XD ))

"You're a good girl, Trinity. I'm happy I had a chance to help you out," Silent replied. Trinity smiled. She was definately glad that he had helped her out as well. She wouldn't have known freedom-- or Adrik, for that matter-- if Silent hadn't helped free her. Even though few managed to escape she thought sadly. Then she noticed Silen't movements. They weren't fluid. His hands trembled. He needs blood she thought. She had seen that look with Cedric before, and her other vampire masters. She remembered Cedric describing the feeling of thirst as though the insides of one's throat was on fire, and that blood was absolutely sweet, a tiny bit salty, refreshing, and exploded with flavor; and usually when around a human, the smell was all around. Back in her head Trinity silently thanked Adrik for listening to her once again-- she didn't hurt as much as she had before when looking back on such painful memories. "You'll have a hard time hunting in the daytime, you know," Trinity said uneasily. "Do you think you can manage?"

Silent turned and grimaced at her. He frmed a smile and palced it on his face. Then dropped it for the grimace again. He shrugged. "Doesn't matter. I'll keep to the shadows.... But I must hunt..." He muttered.

"Doesn't matter. I'll keep to the shadows... But I must hunt," Silent muttered. Trinity could tell he was trying hard not to breathe in too deeply-- otherwise he'd probably smell her blood and be very tempted."Go ahead and hunt," Trinity said. "I don't think I should be very close to you when you do, however..." On the flipside, Adrik had told her to watch Silent. Lyora expeted her to do that as well. "Try and... control yourself, all right?" she added. She new she probably shouldn't be near Silent when he hunted. Sometimes things like this happened; she decided not to make things more complicated. She would stay here and wait...

Silent smiled gratefully at her and then grimaced. "I won't go far. Just a few ways away... Downwind." he said tersly. Then he was gone, racing through the shadows, his eyes blood red as he hunted. He came upon several small mammals, such as a several foxes and deers. He drained them and finally, he finished up with af ew rabbits. He returned only minutes later, his throat content and his stomach full. He cleaned his mouth before stepping out of the shadows, revealing himself to her. "Finished." he said. His teeth were perfectly white and not a speck of blood showe don him anywhere.

Trinity had expected Silent to take a while to hunt. So, she was extremely surprised when he came out what seemed nowhere. She had been staring aimlessly out the window, wondering how the others were faring. When Silent had stepped out of the shadows and said, "Finished," Trinity had jumped around 3 feet into the air. "Sorry," she said apologetically. She had not heard him approach. "I did not think you would be done so quickly." OOC: Hahaha now we're kind of like... So... What now xD

OOC: o0ps. Sorry May. xD BiC: "That's fine. It's easier and faster to hunt when you're hungry," Silent replied. Trinity could definately relate to that. She smiled as well. It melted away, however, as she looked out the window and wondered if everyone was okay. She really wanted to at least see what was going on. She sighed. "The waiting is unbearable," she muttered.

OoC: o.o Sorry. I forgot about this camping trip I was supposed to go on, which I did. But I feel bad. I left you guys cold. ='( I'm a horrible person. BiC "Kyrian, I will not go back. I never planned on fighting Damascus, but I also promised Silent that I would bring his sister back! If I go to him without her, he will never trust me again! I would never trust myself again. Please, please don't make me go back without having accomplished my goal.” Staring at Lyora in surprise, Kyrian hadn’t expected such an outburst from her. I thought she was quiet, but I guess I really misjudged her. He felt stupid for trying to place Lyora on the sidelines; of course she’ll do anything for Silent. How could I forget? With a sigh, Kyrian let go of Zephyra. When she said, “I fear that it would be more painful for Silent to loose his sister, the one whom he is most closely bonded to, than to loose me, his human lover. Especially if he lost Cyri to Damascus, the vampire king.” I don’t believe this, but it would be a close draw. Glancing at Adrik, Kyrian could tell that the other man cared not what the outcome was besides keeping him alive. I could use this to my advantage, Kyrian thought. “I honestly can’t force you to go back, so if you must come, go ahead, just don’t do anything too irrational.” I’ve got that part covered. Adrik was a little shocked when Kyrian caved so early. He didn’t want to have another person to protect, but he also wasn’t about to make the decisions. “If we don’t get moving, we won’t ever find this…we won’t find Cyri.” With an inner shudder, Adrik hoped that they didn’t question his precise statement. He was repulsed that they thought a leech could have such a high ti tle. Never would I put those two words together.

Silent grinned at her. "You can say that again." He siad wiht a deep chuckle. Then his eyes grew worried. "I want her to be safe, but I don't want people going out of their way to kill themselves for her..... I have a feeling that Damascus has already taken her and released the persona he imbedded within her. The Vampire Queen." He shuddered at the thought. "The vampire queen is a persona that Damascus imbedded into Cyri when she was unde rhis control. The vampire queen is like him, only worse. She cares nothing for humans. She considers them her play food. She's sarcastic, unbeliveable strong, and painfully hard to kill. " He shuddered. "I've only seen the Vampire Queen once and that's too much. I can only hope that I'm wrong." he whispered.

Trinity swallowed. She did not like the sound of the Vampire Queen-- nor the fact that Damascus was probably using Cyri. Yes. She definately hoped that Silent was wrong. But Trinity knew that usually whenever she had that thought she had turned out to be right. "I hope that you're wrong as well," she said, "for the good of all of us. But, let's say that we're right. We'll have to be ready for whatever happens."
