Silence stared hard at his master. His master turned and stared at him. "No." He growled. "You are just a lowly slave girl. I need a man who is strong enough to do the work and take the punishment." His master jabbed a finger at Silent. "He's that man. No matter how hard I beat him, he still obeys without a sound." His eyes glinted with rage. "It irritates m. Every slave I have had had begged for mercy. Even slit their own throats when the time came. But he won't give. not even a sigh." He snarled, standing up. "Clean him up!" He snapped at Lyora. "I need him to extract blood." He snarled. With that, he walked out, his shoulders hunched. Silent went over to Lyora and he grabbed her elbows gently, helping her up. "You are foolish." he said in his quiet voice. When he stepped back so she could stand, he noticed he had left his blood on her elbows. he looked at his wrists and grimaced. Then he put them to his mouth and he drank his own blood, grimacing against it's bitter and salty taste. When his wrists were slightly clean, he let them drop. he spit some blood out of his mouth, wiping it against his already bloody sleeve. He grabbed two buckets and went to two cows in the back of the stable. He went to a shelf and grabbed a needle with a small container at the end. He made soft sounds to the cows. They relaxed and let him prick their sides and draw blood. As he turned though, his back flashed with agony and he dropped to his knees, his vision swimming. All of this he had done without a word.

((Woah whats happening with Silent is like major intense. 0_o)) The horse reared and her head looked over towards the cows when they heard a soft noise that sounded like a thud. Karienne looked over at saw the boy lying on the ground. "Hey. Are you alright?"She asked worriedly. she ran up to him the horse following. "Hey buddy."She shook him. Evessence looked at Hollyn. 'Really?" She asked an eyebrow cocked slightly. "Let's go see. Where is it?"

"By the stables," Hollyn answered in a soft tone, and she quick grabbed a bucket and brush as if she were supposed to go outside to tend to the horses. "Let's go," She said with a small smile.
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip.

((Not much has happened, Kat. Silent (Wolf's Chara) tried hurting his master with the help of Lyora (Maybell's chara). Hollyn (My Chara) and Evessence (Ser's Chara) are going outside to watch.))

Lyora looked at her arms, rubbing the other slave's blood onto her rough dress. She looked up at him, amazed at his actions over the past few minutes. Watching him go, she started to return to Riot, but rushed to the boy's side, pushing past the other female slave to do so when he fell to his knees. By now, where the vampire had hit her was a hand-shaped purple mark across her face. "Would you like me to help?", Lyora asked, placing her hand gently on his left shoulder that had managed to escape the lashing, "There's some cloth in Riot's stall that could be used to cover your wrists... But not much can be done for your back..."

((Paige, that's not what happened. O.o; Silent was attacked by his master for not talking, and Lyora just happened to be there. Vampire left, Silent and Lyora had a brief discussion, vampire returned, Lyora disobeyed him, got slapped. Vampire cuts Silent''s wrists open, than leaves. Silent helps Lyora up, returns to his work, than falls over.))

((Hmm. I could've sworn I'd read something about you guys hurting the Vampire. Must've misread. Sorry. o.o. Kat, it doesn't matter. Your chara could be working, or being a wittness with the whole Lyora-Silent-Vampire drama.))

Jake and John were scrubbing the floors of their masters homes, utterly bored. Jake had tear stained eyes, where as John just looked sad, like a puppy that had been kicked too many times. He was miserable. Their mom had been killed for trying to run, and they had to see it. Images still haunted their minds. Their master was busy talking on the phone, and they were very ignored, as usual. Jake's hand was bandaged from another drinking. He always gave the most blood, not wanting his brother to be hurt. ((brain dead XD))

(( hey there. lol )) Silent opened his eyes and shook his head. Carefully, he stood up. he lifted his head, eyes closed, and thought for a few minutes. I need help. These wounds won't heal and I can't get my solution onto them because I can't reach my back. he thought for a few more seconds then, he turned to Lyora and the other girl. They were both very pretty. He held up his finger, then he turned, went to a single dusty shelf that looked as if it had better days, and he rummaged through a pair of pants. He came back holding a small bottle of a blueish liquid. He pointed to the liquid, then his back. "Help me." he said quietly. Carefully, he took his shirt off. Shots of pain went through him, but he ignored them and sat down on a bench. He opened the slave and motioned for the two slave girls to watch. he took a dime sized amount and smeared it over his cuts on his wrists. Instant relief made him let out a faint sigh of relief.

Lyora nodded, taking a bit of the blue salve and gently applying it to the many wounds on his back, careful to avoid hurting him anymore than was necessary. "What's your name, anyway?", she asked softly, once she had finished rubbing the blue stuff over his back, "You never did tell me. I'd like to have something to know you by, other than the nasty words your master called you."

The pain edged away and he felt his muscles relax as relief spread through him. He looked around for his master than gazed hard into Lyora's eyes and the other slave girl's eyes, searching their hearts and their minds. "Silent. Silent Rouge."

"Silent? That's a lovely name.", Lyora said, smiling softly, glad to see him feeling better, "We must finnish our work, or I fear past events will repeat themselves. Will I see you again, silent?" Lyora looked into Silent's eyes as he gazed into hers, and she felt a connection, strengthening her liking, no, love, for this strong slave.

Lyora nodded and than to quietly to herself replied, "I hope we do meet again. I think I love you." She went back to her work, hoping dearly that Silent heard her comment.

Karienne leaned against the stall as Lyora rubbed the liquid on the boys back. She cuked in a sharp breath when she saw how bad the cuts really were. "Silent's a cute name." She said nodding when Lyora asked his name. She continued to watch as Lyora continued to spread the stuff. She bit on her lip when the girl was done. Those cuts should really be bandaged. She looked as Lyora walked away and Silent went back to work. "Uhh, Silent?" Kari said softly. "You sure you don't want those bandaged?"She asked. She knew there was some gauze in the back of the stable. ((Woah. 0_o. Did she really just say that? XD Oh wait she said that her herself XD))
