Zach nodded his head, a small smile on his face. "I wonder what would happen if they let humans come here." his green eyes were fixated on the ceiling, but her looked down again to look at grace. "There was some other shifter school Leo and I went to -we got kicked out, by the way...- but they put in a few humans, to see what our relationship with them would be. Too see how we would keep the big secret away from the humans." Zach shook his head. "Horrible outcome, really." 

Grace laughed a bit. "The last time I went to a normal school, I transformed in the middle of cl*censored* and the teacher went histerical." She laughed some more. "He was all like, 'I knew there was something weird about her!'" Her laugh tapered into a small snicker and then stopped. "Well, if you don't mind me asking, why did you get kicked out?"

   Zach's face paled, before he groaned. "You sure you want to know?" Zach's eyes were filled with amusement. "Well, that Shifter school wasn't exactly as strict as this one, so hunting was... not as prohibited. We were allowed to hunt, so long as we didn't eat other shifters." Zach let his head fall back, sighing, a frown on his face. "So Leo and I, we went out hunting. We found this... antelope. Leo chased after it and, well, pounced."

     "It was all bloody, and by the time the antelope-shifter actually shifted back, she had lost an arm and a leg." Zach shook his head. "We got in so much trouble, and then-" he looked up to see his brother with his own tray full of meat. "-and then we got kicked out," Leo finished, taking a seat beside his brother. "It was sad, but at least we didn't kill the girl. It happened to other before. Anyway, that's why the put humans in the school, to try to see if we could control ourselves before we could lose control. A tiny slip and the secret would be out."

Grace looked at Leo. "That could've happened again if you would've hit Jade," she said, still a bit miffed. She felt sorry for the antelope girl. She was happy that she was an omnivore, and not hunted by many things. "Well, here, the only human here is the nurse. And she knows how to keep the secret. Her son, Aiden, is a clouded leopard shifter. He got the genes from his dad. However, his mom is human." She looked around, wondering where Aiden was.

Aiden was sleeping silently in a tree, his stomach not growling at all. He wasn't hungry. He was just tired.

     Leo glared at Grace. "That was a few years ago, anyway," he shook his head. "We know how to recognize shifters from normal animals now, anyway, so just let it go." Leo huffed, stabbing a piece of raw chicken with a fork and shoving it into his mouth. He was full carnivore - even tough his brother kept trying to get him to eat those annoying green things. He was fine with just his meat. But then he looked up at Jade, shaking his head. "I really am sorry though, I didn't mean to frighten you." But the look on your face...

     Zach punched his brother in the arm, knowing what he was thinking before he even said it. 

     Zach snickered. "Obviously - you're lucky you don't have to live with him." he pointed to his brother, who was too absorbed acting like an animal, tearing into his meat. "You got any siblings here, Grace?"

     Leo looked up at hearing the girl's name. "Oh yea, aren't you gonna introduce me, Zach?" he looked up from his food, an eyebrow raised. Zach pointed to Grace. "Grace - Leo. Leo - Grace." Then he pointed his fork at Jade. "Jade - Leo, Leo - Jade." Leo rolled his eyes at his brother. 

Jade smiled slightly and stood, walking shyly out of the lunch room and to the lounge. There she found a few other quiet shifters like herself and settled down at one of the computer desks, searching through music and various documents.

Grace looked at Leo. "Hi, Leo." She put extra emphasis on his name. She stabbed a bite of mandarin orange with her fork. "I'm an only child. Although, Aiden is like a brother to me," she said, looking around once more, wondering where Aiden was.

Aiden woke up from his nap and walked into the cafeteria. He sat down beside Grace and looked at Leo and Zach. "Pretty popular with guys now, huh Grace?"

Grace looked at Aiden and slapped his bicep. "Shush. At least I don't fall asleep every five seconds." Her cheeks were red. "Zach, Leo, this is Aiden." She pointed to Aiden who smiled lightly and gave a small wave.

     Zach and Leo nodded to Aiden. "Yo." Zach mumbled. Leo, his tray empty and devoid of any sign there even had been food on it at all, stood up with his tray. "I'm off to go bug Jade. Then... we have cl*censored*es right?" he questioned the people who were remained at the table. Zach just rolled his eyes and shook his head.

     Leo wordlessly disappeared, before taking slow steps towards the lounge. Seeing Jade's black hair, he walked over to her, poking her in the shoulder. "Hai." he smirked.

Aiden looked at Grace. "Well, I better go get ready for cla.ss. If I'm late again, my mom'll murder me or something." He chuckled and walked off. The only two remaining at the table were Zach and Grace.

"That's Aiden for ya. He's there one moment and gone the next," Grace said laughing a bit. "What cla.sses do you have?"

((They have one cl*censored* that is sort of standard. It is history. However, their history cl*censored*es teach them about the history of shifters.))

"If you need help finding your cla.sses, I could show you around," Grace said, trying to fight back the blush that Zach's wink caused. "My first cl*censored* is Control Cla.ss."

((FAILNESS.))

"Yea, but what about the poor antelope shifter?" Jade said and sat back down, facing him. "I'm just trying to pas.s the time." She sighed and quickly shut down the computer then moved to sit on the couch, curling up in next to the arm of the left side, and patting the cushion next to her.

     "Oh. Yea that'd be nice." Zach smirked, knowing she felt uncomfortable. "I have my schedule in my pocket-" he reached into his pocket and pulled out his schedule neatly folded. "Ooh, I have the same." Then he looked down at the schedule again. "Wait, this is Leo's." He frowned putting the schedule back into his pocket "He probably has mine." Zach shook his head standing up. "I'm gonna go hunt him down. See you later Grace?" he arched his eyebrow.

     Leo followed her. "At least we didn't eat her." he glared. "And all they tried to feed us were lettuce and... green stuff. I'm not an omnivore or a herbivore, so of course I was famished. Zach too. And a lot of others as well, so it's not entirely our fault." he defended himself.

Jade held up her hands, palms forward. "Ok, ok." She said. "I suppose I don't blame you then." She said and pulled out her schedule to memorize whatever info she would need later in the day.
