He looked at her, back at the sky, then back at her once more. "What sort of request?" He asked, the thoughts of the others present, leaving his mind completely. He heard what the girl who had issued the challenged, but only just. "Does that include everyone?" He asked in a voice that seemed slightly distant.

His attention was drawn to her, away from the angel. "No problem..." He gave her a small nod. He stretched slightly before stopping in mid stretch. His head tilted to the side as he listened. He then silently moved out of the clearing in back into the woods. Soon cries sounded which were almost instantly silenced. He came back, wiping the blood of one of his blades with what looked like a torn red bit of clothe from a cloak of some sort. In fact it was from one of the guards that had come from the city to look for him. Neither his face nor eyes showed any ex pression. Right now he felt nothing but cold emptiness.

(Mind if I join? This seems interesting. o3o However I do apologize if I don't respond all the time >-> I can be really lazy and my mom likes to ban the computer.)
Name: Casey Nimaoe [But everybody he knows calls him "Ace". If you ask him for his name he'll most likely say it's Ace.] Gender: Male Age: 21 Height: 5'6.5" Race: Angel Appearance: Other: He does have the sword depicted above ^^^ And his eyes are turquoise. c: Name: Okias Tembridge [However she prefers to be called Kia.] Gender: Female Age: 16 Height: 5'6" Race: Shapeshifter [She can shift into like everything.] Appearance: ^^ Her hair in the picture is a light brownish-reddish color, by the way. And those snowflake barrette things are nonexistant. Her eyes are green, too, not blue. Other: She has a bow that's red and tan (sorta hard to describe) and arrows with colors to match. Kia also has a sword like the one in this picture - [tle="Kia's Sword" href="http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/112/311837-dc018_super.jpg" target="_blank">LINK] - and is proficient in the use of both weapons.

(Thank you! :D As for walks of life.. well. Casey's pretty much a noble. He's all important and stuff. Kia? Hm... she's probably like a middle-class leaning on poor. That ok?)
Casey let out a small puff of air as he listened to the conference about la-di-da going on. He was supposed to be involved with the others, but honestly - did they all think this was so terribly important? The conference droned on and on, and the same topic had been out on the table for three hours. This was Casey's first conference he had been cordially invited to, since his parents were of rather high class in the new city, and his own father was partaking in this discussion. He was currently on one side of the debate and leading it rather well, though Casey didn't really have a side to pick and hadn't uttered a word since he got here. Other than "Father, how long will this last?" when he first got in the doors. His father had told him two hours since they only had a few things to decide on. They were only on the first item and it had been three hours. Casey did not appreciate being lied to. He wanted to go out into one of the well-kept gardens or the mysterious forest that many of the red light and old city citizens wandered in, though not many strayed to the part on the new city's side - or at least not far into it. The voices droned on and on. After a while, Casey began to think of ways to escape without much notice. With his parents' high stature, he could surely get away with this as he had with other such things. His mind began to plan and map out intricate and simple procedures to get out. After a while he settled on one and quietly sunk down into his seat, soon slipping down and down and down until he was under the table. His watchful eyes had not seen anybody notice his departure, so that was good. He began to crawl out from under the table and, ever so luckily, his chair was right by the door and not far from it. A few more feet he crawled and even took care to push in his chair and he delicately turned the handle and threw himself on the other side and shut the door very quietly. Getting up normally, he dusted off his suit and proceeded down the hallway. Not far into his free and seeming homestretch, Casey heard a voice behind him and he stiffened and stopped right in his spot. "And now where do you seem to be going, Mr. Nimaoe?" Slowly turning around, he saw the face of one of the building's secrataries holding a stack of papers. She was glaring at him and had the most perturbed ex pression on her face. She had caught him red-handed. Her tight and neat bun and black glasses fit on her plump body with an always annoyed and 'I-don't-want-to-be-here' face on, Casey recognized her as Miss Ochad, the building's most despised secretary. She was never kind and always harsh. When Casey did not respond to the woman, she said, "I thought you were supposed to be in the Crimson Conference Room at this moment. Or do the papers lie?" she probed. At this point, Casey turned tail and ran down the hall, speeding off like a bullet. "HEY! Get back here!" Miss Ochad yelled sharply, but Casey paid no mind as she did not pursue him with her hands full of papers. "Your parents will be hearing about this!" Of course they would. Why wouldn't they? It won't take long for my father to notice I'm gone, once that heated argument has finished, Casey thought. Silly woman. He knew his consequences, she needn't remind him. After running out of the building, he slowed to a jog and, once in the bustle of the market, he was in a walk, smoothing down his suit and collecting himself. After a while he noticed that his mind had automatically set him on the route to his favorite garden once he smelled the flowers and saw the thorny vines and ruby-red roses climbing up on the metal arch leading into a green and peaceful environment with nobody in it. For some reason, no one really bothered to come here, and Casey enjoyed it mostly for that reason. It was as if the garden was his - though it wasn't and was taken care of by someone else. That 'someone' was unknown to him and he had never seen anybody tending to the grounds, but as long as the place was empty of humans and full of the life of nature, he was fine. Casey let his wings unfurl to their fullest wingspan, stretching them out from their previous position tucked onto his back. After being that way for three hours straight, they were getting pretty stiff. The fresh air was a nice intake after the building's own and Casey just stood amid the middle of the garden, loving the peace and serenity that flowed throughout. x|-|x With a tough ex pression on her face, a girl swiftly moved through the old city, a navy blue cloak on. The hood was up as it covered most of her face. She didn't need anybody's unwanted attention, being a sixteen year old girl without parents or siblings. She used to live in the new city until the prices got so high and the money was to hard to find. She soon resorted to moving to the old city and hunting and selling to live. She only sold if necessary, though, because you never knew what shady people were going to come along, and she better preferred to not be around anyone. But in the forest, without so many people, the girl flipped back her hood and let her long hair and green eyes be visible. She then smiled and wiped the old ex pression off her face as she could be herself without anyone knowing. The carefree and happy Okias was revealed to only the trees and surrounding nature. She broke into a jog, giggling and smiling, feeling cool air on her skin as it flew around her as she ran. Going into a walk, she heard noises farther into the woods. No - this was too complex to be ordinary noises, these were.... voices! It wasn't that Okias was totally a non-people person, it's just that she wasn't very trusting to the people of the red light and old city. Unless she wasn't human. Kia's ability to shapeshift helped her and she loved it, especially since she could experience so many different ways of life and pick and choose whenever she wanted. Going towards the source of the voices, she tentatively slowed and peered at a group of beings from behind a tree. An angel, an elf, and some others. Well. It looked like one had been shot with an arrow and healed by - whoa. None other than Spirit Eyes. She had never seen Spirit Eyes before but had heard talk of him, and she was rather intimidated by the man with purple hair. Hm.. her intimidation would vanish if she could play faithful pet. Plus, he seemed pretty down. Kia was always up for brightening someone's day! When he left and returned with blood on his blades, her eyes widened. Ok. Maybe not such a good idea to go out there. These people seemed to enjoy fighting... Even though Kia was good at using her sword and bow 'n' arrow, it wasn't very much that she used them on others. Fright built up inside her until she was so terrified she shifted into a wolf to be safe. Her new form was the color of pure white, and of course her green eyes were there, too. Soon enough the scent of a dead body hit her wolf nose. Her ears pricked in curiosity, as it wasn't the person that Spirit Eyes had just killed. The scent was different than the blood just wiped off Spirit Eyes' blade. Silently, Kia sought after the scent and eventually found a boy's body next to a partially dug hole. It wasn't far from the others' location, but apparently someone had wanted to dig a hole for this boy. The wolf nudged the boy. No response; definitely dead. She sniffed him and couldn't find any visible marks that could tell her how he died, until she saw the rope marks around his neck. Hung. Poor boy. Kia pondered the ideas of why the boy could be hung, her mind wandering off to occupy herself as she lay beside the body.

He turned to look at the wolf and was going to do something about it, but decided not to since he felt no threat from it. He crouched down and held out his hand. "It's ok, girl." He said. "Come here, I wont bite..." -Maybe I bite a lot.- He thought and chuckled inwardly. He always enjoyed animals. They listened and seemed to want to help when you had issues. They didn't tell you what you could and couldn't do. They never talked back, though they did have their own way of saying what they wanted and needed. They also never forced their ideas on anyone either.
He had been a noble in a far country, but quickly grew tired of the life by thirteen and had run away. What his parents didn't know, but the weapon teachers did, was that he had mastered all weapons by the age of nine. He then became a master assassin by the age of eleven. Rumors had spread that he was a monster, and plans were made to dispose of him...even his own parents were planning to help 'destroy' him. That was another reason he had decided to run away.
His mind returned to that of the present, and he continued to watch the wolf. "You feel bad for him, don't you?" He asked indicating to the dead body next to her. "That...was my brother. He was killed for no reason save, to serve as a scapegoat...to draw me out into the open...So, it is my fault I guess, that he died." He shrugged. He had never talked this much in his life, not even when he was living as a noble.

Okias was surprised she caught the attention of someone, but was fine, for she was a wolf. And that was who she truly was - or not. Being a shapeshifter, one could never know what their "true" form was. They could change whenever, but what was their "neutral" form? Nothing in particular. So whatever she was at the moment was what she was. Hah, try saying that five times fast. Kia enjoyed being anything and everything whenever she felt it, so at the moment, being a wolf, she sniffed the hand held out to her. Scent: categorized, memorized. Kia soon slowly moved her head away and was slightly more relaxed, then listened to Spirit Eyes' words. His brother, hm? Interesting. And her ponderings could be put to rest as to why the poor boy was hung, and it was a rather sad answer, definitely not one she was already considering. The white wolf let out a soft and short whine to express her condolences.

He gently pet her on the head. "You are a pretty girl..." He smiled, though it had a touch of sadness to it. He looked over at his brother. "He would have loved you. He was the one who was always good with animals." He chuckled as he continued to pet her.

Hearing voices, I looked out from my hiding spot only to spot a young man. He seemed surrounded in mystery, which only seemed to add to my natural curiosity. Creeping out silently, I watched him from a distance.

(Hope you can join, Rika. And welcome to the team, Kat.)
He looked up from the wolf as he sensed someone else show up. He looked over his shoulder and saw a female with long, reddish-brown hair. "Who are you?" He asked, feeling uneasy now that so many people had shown up.
