(Drenn, I can't see any of the photos or the deion in your new bio D: ) "He would've loved you"? At first, Kia was confused, until she realized that he was talking about the deceased boy. Oh. Ok. The pats on her head were soft and felt nice, and now the shifter knew why animals put up with it. And they didn't just 'put up with it', they enjoyed it, and it was pretty evident. It actually felt pretty nice. Okias leaned her head forward and allowed for more petting. Yayy! However she also knew that some animals didn't like petting, but that could be for many reasons. Just like how some people like spinach and some don't. Maybe being a wolf for a while and perhaps tagging along with Spirit Eyes would be alright.. He seemed nice enough. To wolves, anyway. The thought brought on another distant memory of Okias' past friend while she had lived in the new city. His name was Michael and she had been his pet cat until he realized that she was a shifter. But to him, it didn't matter, so they became human friends. It was a wonderful friendship, but when Kia's father had gone into red light and never came back... She and her mother ventured out, only for Kia to get lost and never see her mother again. The girl assumed she had died, for she searched everywhere for her for a year. Then she gave up and lived like she did now. Michael, her mother, her father, the new city and everything in it - gone. The old and red light cities and the forest? Her new home. Hunting and the art of self-defense? The way that she survived. Shaking the thoughts away, Kia pulled herself back into the present's happenings. It was then that Okias noticed another presence, and it seemed Spirit Eyes did, too.

Shocked that he could see her, she slowly walked into a ray of light and looked at him. "my name is Kressa." she said shyly. watching him, she saw what looked to be a large dog sitting next to him. She couldn't help but look puzzled because she had never seen one before, but putting that in the back of her mind, she powered up slightly just in case he would attack her.

He noticed the new comer's tail. "What....are you?" He was confused. Was she a demon? He doubted it. He continued to subconsciously pet the wolf, slowly moving his hand to scratch gently behind her ears.

A wolf demon slipped through the halls of the palace, unnoticed. He had a report to give to the king. He hated working for the old man, but he had no choice. The previous king had a sorceress put a spell on him, while he was still a pup. Now he had no choice to follow the orders of that king and his descendants forever. He wanted to howl out his frustration, but that would give away his position. He knew that the king was in a conference, but that did not matter. He had orders to deliver the report no matter what.
He knew that this report could mean war, but what could he do? Nothing. He sighed again and continued through the halls, hiding in the shadows when anyone approached. He soon reached the conference hall and entered. He went straight up to the king and knelt, waiting for a command.
"Report." The king ordered as he raised a hand for everyone else to fall silent.
"The elves are preparing for war. With whom, that is still unknown. With your permission, I am heading there after this since my contact is being useless in finding that information." He kept his head bowed waiting for the king to say more.
The king sat there in silence, deep in thought. Should he say yes and find out why the elves were preparing for war. Or should he just have his own people prepare for war and wipe out the elves once and for all.

She couldn't help but giggle when he asked that, and soon had her emotions back to a neutral state. " I am a Saiyan, a proud race of warriors from the planet Vegeta. I was sent here to destroy this place, but decided against it because of its hidden beauty." Looking at the beast next to him, she couldn't control her curiosity. "what type of creature is that?" she questioned.
She was finally close enough to see his face and was surprised at what she saw. She was looking into beautiful silver eyes and couldn't help but continue to admire the rest of his body. She couldn't help but wonder what he was and how he got here, but decided against voicing her question.

She wanted to pet the wolf, but was unsure of how to do it. Instead she hovered slightly and made her way over to a ledge a few feet away from where the two others were. She didn't trust them enough to let her guard down, so she just decided to watch how they reacted to their surroundings.

He slowly stood up and walked over to his brother and carefully picked him up. All thoughts of the others around him, now gone. He gently laid his brother in the grave before slowly covering him up with the dirt. When he finished he bowed his head and said a silent prayer.

She watched him go over to the body and saw his eyes hold such affection and despair, she couldn't help but feel sympathetic. She decided that he wasn't too much of a threat, so she jumped down and walked up to stand beside him. She looked at the body and noticed that there was a slight resemblance between him and the man she had already met.

He stood and laid the last of the dirt over his brother's face. "He was my brother, though not blood related." He said quietly as he turned and leaned against a nearby tree to rest, and to think.

Twitching her hair, she walked over to him and sat down. she didn't know why, but he made her feel comfortable enough to talk about things that she had suppressed for years. "Family, I haven't really had a family. My mother was killed shortly after I was born, and my father was the one who shipped me off to this planet. Last I heard, my planet was destroyed about two years ago and there weren't any survivors. I am tired of being lonely, but I am always chased out of wherever I stay." She spoke in an almost whisper, and a tear slowly slid down her cheek.
Shocked at what she was doing, she jolted up and ran into an abandoned building, mumbling to herself the entire time.

Okias liked the gentle scratching, and let her head go off to the side a bit and her tongue lolled out. She tuned into the two beings' conversation and noticed when the girl asked what kind of species Kia was. What Spirit Eyes said in return was transferred to her as praise, being called strong, loyal, a fighter.. It was very fitting if she did say so herself. When the petting joys stopped, she abruptly looked over and noticed that Spirit Eyes' attention had been diverted from the girl and herself. Alright, alright - more petting. Later. Hopping up to her paws, Kia listened to their further speech and then a question was directed at her after the girl's flee. She took a few steps forward in reply: Yeah, I'm up for it, let's go.

He nodded and took off in a run after the girl that had fled. He moved swiftly and soon caught up with her, even before she reached the abandoned cabin.
