The almost full moon rise solemnly into the midnight blackish blue sky, which is dotted individually with the sparkling white stars. I wander around the camp, which is in a frostbitten Meadow where the beige grass just barely pokes through the icy-layered snow. I can't hold it in any longer, and I howl the Pack Meeting Howl. I sit, perched up on the cave where the Healer shall soon be stationed. As the Pack Members come to join me (I'm PPing for just this once), I smile, especially down on my little sister Sovia. She looks happy and excited. I begin, my voie strong and proud even. "Tonight, the moon rises, almost full. We look upon Tor, the great Wolf Goddes of the Moon, and smile. Fenris, the great wolf God of the Sun, we wave to, and hope to see another day. Tomorrow night, the Moon will be full. It is then, and only then, that an Alpha Female for me may be chosen. The two contestants; Zynia and Angel, should be both ready and able to fight. Whoever I decree deserves the Rank more will recieve it, and the Starr, the future Alpha's Pup, will come to be. The Healer will also be chosen quickly. Whoever wishes to receive that rank must speak to me at some time before the fight. That is all." I say. I jump down quickly from the Cave top, and approach Sovia, who is sitting next to Starr (last time I will ever PP, I promise. It's just to get things started.).

I feel so excited, and I can tell that Starr, who is sitting respectively next to me is too. "Are you excited?" I whisper to the young pup. We've barely been here more than two weeks and we already have the makings of a large pack. "I hope to be Head Warrior myself. What do you want to be when you grow up? Oh, Hello Nomen." I say, not realizing that my brother has been approaching me.

Ebony listened to the Alpha's speech curiously. She looked at the fae who wished to compete for Nomen's heart. She wondered how each of them would run the pack, if chosen. She remembered vaguely when this ceremony was initiated before, and Nomen's mother had one. She smiled, soon becoming lost in her memories. 

After the speech, Adler began to wonder about the rankings. He truly hoped he would become a mentor. He looked at Ebony, and knew her desire to become storyteller. He sighed and shook his head. He'll just have to wait until tomorrow to see what ranks they got.
