OOC: @ devil - Follow the guidelines in the other bios as an example, and learn from those. Sorry for making it bold, just wanted it to be noticeable. xD @ Nommy (is that nickname ok?) - I like that idea. :) Like the hunters set loose some dogs trained strictly not to kill livestock and round up wolves in order to be relocated/shot? But the dogs, intelligent as they are, decide to spy on and maybe manipulate the wolves to their own ends, deciding they enjoy pack life and chose to eliminate them all? We could roleplay a main or minor dog character each, depending on how we feel about it? |

OOC: I think I would feel very uncomfortable if we made agreements without consulting the others first. xD I'm definitely ready to wait for the others' ideas before we ran to any conclusions. ^^ People used to call me Wolfeh a lot (bah hah, before quite a lot of people here...) so I'd prefer that. ^^ Wolfie is used by many others, it seems. Another suggestion - I used this before in another roleplay and it was very successful - was, say, if two people created a whole new page of roleplaying, where there are several other members in different time zones, there'd be a heck of a lot of catching-up to do reading-wise. So, when one person goes to bed and the others in the seperate time zones come online, we'd summarize briefly what happened recently in large, unmissable text like this so they don't have to read through the whole lot again. :) Say two wolves had a big fight over rank, we'd simply put, Thingy and Whatsit fought over the Eh? rank and depending on where the situation was last left, finish with Whatsit won the role of Eh? and Thingy died. Whatsit is currently celebrating too hard to care about Thingy's death with a party in the meadow. Small important details can be added in, like Whatsit's body is by the river and they fought during the night, nobody else saw them. Details like minor injuries can be explained later on, unless it's important, such as Whatsit, however, is suffering from severe bloodloss and is leaving a nasty mess all over the carpet.

OOC: That could work. But at the same time, say Devil was the only summarizer. No matter what time zone she belongs in, she will have to read over every single post made by every single player every day. That could be a lot to go over. I prefer the idea of it changing every now and then, so everyone can share the role of remembering what's happened. :) But depending on post size and post quantity, we may not need a summary sometimes at all. |

@Mercy, Lol, it's mostly just me and Wolfeh talking, but Wolfeh is now my co-author/creator, I've started the RP, Nomen just called a Pack Meeting where he said that the next night, the Alpha Female would be chosen after the two contestants; Zynia and Angel, fought. The Starr would become the Alpha Pup, and the Healer/Oracle would be chosen. We're also thinking about implementing a plot, although we want everyone's opinions on that. Since I have to go and watch a movie, Wolfeh can explain the idea's for the plot to you.

OOC: Certainly. :) Basically we've been toying around with the ideas: - having a nearby group of wild wolfdog hybrids lurking around with intentions to take over the wolf's territory; having dog ancestry helps make them more efficient in evading and understanding humankind, where their wolfish side gives them excellent survival skills
- ranchmen using hound-dogs - and their own weapons - to hunt the wolves that are supposedly stealing their livestock, or are simply in the way of a new ranching estate
- a combination of both, where the domestic dogs turn feral after aquiring a taste for the wild, and begin tainting the pure-wolf bloodlines to create difficult and troublesome wolfdogs
Nom and myself have agreed to discuss the plot further with all members. :) Plus... there's no guarantee everybody will stick to roleplaying. I've owned threads where several peopled posted bios, and only two or three others remained to actually roleplay. |
