Zooey nodded solemnly. "Please," she said quietly. Although she saw Nicole text someone whose name she didn't get to see, she knew it was probably Jay. But she didn't know why Nicole texted him. Probably to ask where he was?

Jay pulled out his cellphone, pursing his lips when he read the message. "She swore at me," he said, looking genuinely depressed.

"Did she?" Hideo asked, laying back in the gr*censored*. "Answer her, won't you?"

Jay nodded, doing as he was told.

Jay sighed. "If you don't want to text her back, you don't have to." Oliver mumbled from behind. He was lying back on the gr*censored*, just as Hayden was.

"I do," Jay growled, and he replied to her quickly.

"Okay," Zooey answered from the backseat, trying to seem more interested in the things at the side of the road than what Jay said.

Jay tightened his grip on his phone. "I hate to do this to her," he said quietly. "I hate it."

"Well, it doesn't matter. It's not like we're doing anything out here," Hideo said with a bit of an agitated edge to his voice.

"You can apologize later," Gage suggested, shrugging lightly. "And, Hideo, we will be doing something later, you jerk."

nicole gri her teeth. "Alright, I'll leave the car here," She pulled into the drive way, "And I'll walk home. And if Jay tells you, or makes a hint that he wants to call or text me," She said "Tell him don't." She said, oppening the door, then slamming it behind her.

Zooey flinched, then grabbed the keys and crawled out of the car. She locked the car, then stepped inside the house.

"She's not texting me anymore," Jay said, frowning sadly at his phone. He threw it at Hideo, who plucked it out of the air like it had been floating there. "This is all your fault," he growled.

"My fault? You were the one texting her," Hayden said, throwing it back.

Jay caught his phone. "Should I call her?"

Oliver shrugged, but Gage piped up, sitting up as he spoke: "No, don't call her. Give her some time to calm down. She's probably angry, so if you give her a bit, it'll be easier to talk to her."

Jay nodded, murmuring, "You sure do know a lot about relationships, Gage, even if you've never been in one."

Gage scowled at him. "I know a lot about people, Jay. And thanks," He threw a rock at his head, but Jay didn't really mind.

When nicole was home, she flopped into her bed, and read a random book she pulled off the shelf(?).

"Nevermind," Jay muttered, and he flipped out his phone, calling Nicole's number.

"Aw, I don't want to hear her yell..." Gage whined, frowning and letting himself fall back. Hideo grabbed his hoodie, and he yelped slightly.

"Don't do that, Gage, you'll roll right down the hill." Hayden said.
