"No, I was asking Gage if he could drive," Jay said, chuckling. "I am driving right now. I obviously can," Gage mumbled, smiling. "I'll drop him off at your house, Nicole!" he said loudly.

"Bye," Jay said softly, hanging up. He sighed, then mussed Gage's hair. He only cocked an eyebrow at him. "I just seem to be luckier with you around, Gage," Jay explained, smiling at him.

"Thanks for driving," Jay chirped, jumping out of Hayden's car and rushing towards the front door of Nicole's house. He knocked on the door just as Gage started to drive away.

Jay instinctively wrapped his arms around her, returning the kiss as he did so. After a moment or two, Jay realized he hadn't kissed Nicole in forever. He pulled her closer, mumbling through their kiss, "It's been a while, hasn't it?"
