"Yeah," Blake nodded, still smirking, and reached over and mussed Jay's hair. "Who cut your hair, anyway? Looks different."

Jay sighed. "Kurt," he breathed, and then he looked up, pointing ahead. "There's, like, five entrances, right? Choose one, Nicole." He looked back at her.

"Uhm," Jay blinked. "okay." He glared at Blake, and led her over to it, looking around.

"S'dark, isn't it?" Blake asked, clicking on a flashlight. Jay glared at him again.

"Well, we could...not go further." Blake said, blinking into the darkness. "We could always go back."

Jay nodded. "Although, I haven't been here in a while, so, I was hoping..." He looked back into the darkness, sighing. "Let's go." 

( ono I just feel like I have to point out how wrong this all sounds.

"'Kay!" Blake chirped, coming over and hooking his arm onto Nicole's. "L's keep going~"

Jay blinked. "Are you sure, Nicole?" he asked, even though Blake was already leading them further into the cave. "I mean, if you don't really want to..."

( How can you blurt something bluntly? o___o )

"Well, yeah, but 'm your tour guide." Blake said, pouting. "You have ta hold on to me, 'cause you'll get lost if ya don't."

Jay rolled his eyes. "We'll be fine," he said, walking again.

e.o You know, whenever I get nervous (which can happen at random times), my stomach starts hurting.
My stomach hurts. )

"Oh-kay, but if you two get lost, 'm not lookin' for you guys." Blake teased, grinning. Jay didn't answer him, but smiled, rolling his eyes. He was sure no one could see him, though.

"I know my way around," Jay said, hugging Nicole to himself. "I'm just worried that Nicole here will wander off and get lost." He poked her nose, smiling at her in the darkness.

Now my head hurts. ;o; )

Jay smiled. "Good," he said simply, nodding a bit. Just then, the only light in the cave flickered off, and Jay sighed, saying, "I think we should get out of this cave, though." He looked back at Blake, who smiled sheepishly, even though he knew no one could see.

"We di'n't take any turns, so we can just walk straight back." he said, coming up next to Nicole. "I think we should hold hands, though, s'we don't get lost." Blake held out his hand to Nicole, grinning again.

( Yuh. ^^; )

Blake migrated over to Jay's other side, still holding out his hand with a puppy-dog look on his face that no one could see. Jay glared at his outline, and they both sighed. "You can walk on your own, can't you, Blake?" Jay asked, frowning at him. "You can certainly surf alone, not to mention drink."

Pouting, Blake sighed again, then pointed ahead. "Forward ho!" he cried, leaving Jay thoroughly annoyed. He didn't want to act too affectionate with his ex, even if it was normal for Blake. He gently pulled Nicole forward, walking slowly behind Blake.

"He's a scary boy." Jay whispered back, nodding. Blake didn't hear them, though; he was too busy marching like a Nazi soldier and then laughing like a madman. Somehow, he always managed to amuse himself. And that was yet another trait of his that Jay liked. "But, I don't think he'll be able to keep this up for too long. As soon as he sees the water, he'll get all serious."

Jay looked at Nicole with wide eyes. "No!" he practically shouted, loud enough for Blake to hear. Even though he was already at the entrance to the cave. He looked back, then waved for them to come over. Jay only glanced up at him, then whispered to Nicole, "Why would you think that? I-is this because of what happened with Kurt?" He practically choked on the name.
