Nicole's neck. "I've got the perfect girl, a somewhat comfortable seat, and everything else I could ever need right here in this mall... I think I'm pretty much set, so I don't need to move."

Jay blinked. That completely ruined the moment. he thought. Why don't I ever turn my phone off? ...Wait, nevermind. "S-sorry," he stammered, reaching into his pocket and pulling his cell out. He choked on his own saliva when he saw the caller ID. What the hell? "You answer it," he retorted, shoving his phone into Nicole's hand.

"N-nevermind," Jay took his phone back, pressing "ignore," and then stuffing his phone back into his pocket. "That...was scary," he breathed, running a hand through his hair. He was actually talking to himself. "I don't know how many times something like that's gonna happen, but I don't want it happening again."

Jay looked over at Nicole, and then gave her a crooked smile. "Nothing's wrong," he said simply. "Just a random caller."
