Jay looked back at Nicole, blinking. "No," he said simply, and then looked back out the window. He hadn't been hanging out with any of his friends lately... Did they even miss him? He kind of didn't want to think about it. If they'd grown apart while he was gone, it would be his fault. Obviously.

And, yeah. ;c Bad Nicole. *hits with newspaper*

"Who are you texting...?" Jay asked, peeking over Nicole's shoulder. He couldn't really see, which caused him to sit back and pout slightly. Then the ambulance door opened, and he hopped out, only pausing to wait for Nicole.

She got a text message back reading, "what the *censored*!?! why?!" No capitals, just punctuation.

( Capatilize your texts or else. ;o )

Nicole turned but didn't say anything, turning back and responded,

He fell when he was skate boarding, and he hit his head so they wanna test to make sure he dosen't have a concussion..

( They do!?

Jay rolled his eyes. "Sorry," he apologized to the paramedics, and looked back at Nicole. Still texting. Huh.

Meanwhile, Nicole got a text back saying, "typical. last time that happened we all poured cups of water on his head to keep him awake. you know, to keep him from falling into a coma...or something."

( They do. :D

YOU KNOW WHAT. Shes an 18 year old girl. SHES GONNA TEXT OKAY. ;c )

Nicole didnt reply, not worried if they would be worried. She followed after Jay, unaware that he was upset that she was texting. She sighed lightly and looked at the hospital. It was big, bigger than she ever saw, with windows that were big too. Nicole crossed her arms over her chest, and frowned, but smiled again quickly. Her sweather was too tight, she couldn't cross her arms comfortably, so she considered taking it off. But she couldn't.

Underneath was a revealing blue Aeropostale shirt.

Jay prefers talking over the phone. AND HE'S A NINETEEN-YEAR-OLD GUY.
That's right. Nineteen.
He aged.

"Now you look uncomfortable," Jay said, his brow pinching. "Is it the hospital? You can leave, if you want. I'll be fine." He moved closer to Nicole and wrapped his unharmed arm around her waist. "I'm not a kid, so don't worry." he murmured, smiling a little.

( AND HE DIDN'T TELL NICOLE? D': )

Nicole smiled, "No, It's okay, I'm not." She said, glancing at his broken arm which was starting to bruise.

( She was on vacation. ;c )

Jay sighed. "If you say so," he said, and glanced up at a sign that read "x-ray." "You'll probably have to wait here," he told Nicole, stopping in front of the door. "They usually don't let anyone else in. X-ray radiation or whatever. Y'know?"

( I totally went to Six Flags yesterday. ono This guy, right? He was dressed up as some sort of undead pirate. He was part of Fright Fest, and he made me jump. ;-; I whined, "Aww, you made me spill!" 'cause I was holding a drink. The guy looked back and said sorry.

And, really!? D8 Wtf. Did you ever see a chick with black and red hair? Dressed entirely in black? Near a really short blonde? And another blonde who had black hair under her blonde hair?
'Cause that was us. )

"I love youu," Jay called, leaning back so he could see Nicole. Maybe thirty minutes later, he came back out again, muttering curses under his breath. They popped his shoulder back into place, and they had to grab his hurt arm to do that.

( xD Yeah, thought so. It's not like I was glancing around, looking for people I know.
I was, actually, but I was looking for people from school. o___o Saw a lot. )

"Broken arm," Jay told her, smiling sheepishly. "Like I thought. My shoulder was dislocated, too, but they put it back in place. My wrist broke, too, 'cause I tried to break my fall. I guess I should've just let myself fall." He shrugged, then flinched.

( *giggle* My sister and I were listening to Adam Lambert this morning. )

"You seem bothered," Jay said. He'd been mentioning the same thing several times now, only thing was that he was changing the words.

( Dunno. She had one of his songs stuck in her head, so we listened to his music. )

Jay furrowed his brow. "Well, Nicole...there's always a chance I'll get hurt. No matter what." he said, and sidestepped so he could hug her. "So, you might as well let that worry go."
