Jay sighed, placing a hand over one of his eyes and pushing his hair away. Blonde, brown, and black - too many highlights. Originally, his hair had been brown, but now it had black and blonde in it.

Crap, Jay thought. I have to go to a stupid dance, and everyone's gonna tease me about it. He glanced down at the eyeliner he had taken from his sister. Of course, he was going to give it back, but first, he'd need to line his waterline and whatnot. My eyes are too big for my face. It's out of proportion. he thought, wincing when he stabbed his eye with the tip of the pencil. It'd be better to make them look smaller.

"Yo, Jay-bird," Hideo called, opening Jay's window and sitting on the ledge. "Where are you going all dressed up like that? You look weird."

Jay frowned. I told her I'd look weird, didn't I? "Shuddup," he mumbled, fumbling with the tie. "...I'm going to a dance, so,"

"Can I come?" asked Gage, pulling himself up. "I don't have a car to get there, and I knew you were going, so..."

"What?" Jay blinked. "Yes, you...you can come. But don't mess with the popular crowd, okay? I don't want you to get teased later at school."

Gage beamed. "Hooray~"

"Hey," Jay looked behind his seat. "how did you all know I was going to the dance? Not only that, but how'd you all get in my car?"

Kurt held up a needle and a hair pin. "Easy," he said, smiling.

"What a bad boy," Hideo chuckled, opening the window. "Where'd you learn all your tricks?"

"Places," Kurt replied, accidently smacking his head against the window when Jay stopped the car. "Yo, I wasn't wearing my seatbelt." he said, rubbing his forehead.

"You should've," Jay stepped out of his car.

Jay stayed hidden within his small group of friends, hiding from others. He saw Nicole, but he was a little to scared to walk over and greet her. She was surrounded by "friends" just as he was, except his friends were real.

"Jay," Oliver shoved him away. "go see your girlfriend."

"Uh, what?" Jay blinked, but walked towards Nicole. "Um, happy birthday~" he said, waving slightly.

"Not a problem," Jay looked around. "So, now what?" he asked, looking back at Nicole.

"Thanks. If you want, you can just leave." Nicole said, looking at Jay.

( I think I'm going to try looking for advanced roleplays somewhere on Proboards. You know, with full plots and sophisticated people. My sister and her friend just finished a Proboards on wolves, so, like. o.o )

"Well, what the hell would be the point in that?" Jay frowned. "Coming here, then just leaving?" He gave his friends a sideways glance, still frowning. "And then they followed me here, so, like, it'd be a waste of their time, too, if I left."

"WHell then.." Nicole thought "Emily dosen't have a date. Ask her to dance." She pointed at Emily, who smiled.

"Gross, no." Jay said, turning away. "I'm not gonna ask some random girl I don't know to dance. Why in the world would I do that?" He looked back at Nicole.

I made my sister name a roleplay forum after a song. It's called "Bound to Violence." :3 It works well for the roleplay's plot.

"Well, that made absolutely no sense." Jay blinked at Nicole, furrowing his brow. "First, it didn't answer my question. Second, what you said didn't go well together."

"Jay," Kurt placed a hand on Jay's shoulder, and he jumped. "you can't treat her like us - don't correct her like that. That is, if you really like her..." He let his voice trail off.

Jay looked down. "Can't help it," he mumbled. "Maybe I will just leave..." He turned around.

Jay sighed. "It's cheerleader logic, Jay. Ignore it," Kurt said, petting Jay's multicoloured hair.

"Let's just go," Jay grabbed Kurt's wrist and pulled him away, followed by the rest of the little group.
