"Who wouldn't be?" Hideo and Oliver continued to attempt to make a joke out of it. Again, Oliver reached over and pulled most of Jay's hair in his face. "Hey, really?" Jay slapped Oliver's hand away. He turned to Nicole. "Is that what he said?" "Back," Kurt said, stepping up. His hair was in his face, as if he were trying to hide something. "What's going on?" They all stayed quiet, and Gage glanced at the only clock in the cafeteria. "Bell's gonna ring." he said.

Nicole nodded her head up and down, and her head gently hit his dhoulder when she did. "Hi, Kurt." Nicole muttered, and the bell rang.

Jay stood up, bringing Nicole up with himself. "Hey, Kurt," he said, smiling at him. He kept his arm around Nicole's waist, then started walking away. "You screwed up," Hideo said softly to Kurt, as if Jay couldn't hear. But he could.

Jay sighed. "He's always tried to make it -- if only slightly -- obvious that he had some sort of interest in me, but that's how he always is. I just ignored it," He pulled back out of the cl*censored*. No one was in the room yet, so... "Let's ditch, okay? It'll be easier to talk..." Jay tucked some of Nicole's hair behind her ear, frowning sadly.

"He said he didin't want you to fall in love with me, and he asked if I knew why. I said I didin't and he told me that all you guys think he's only good as a 'one-nighter' and then he said you were wrong, that he would be okay with a relation ship, and Then.." Nicole explained "He said He wants wants you. That he has for a long time, and he's not about to let some chick waltz in and take you." She blinked looking up at Jay occasionaly.

Nicole bit her lip. "Thats what Kurt hates about you," she said, "He hates me, or atleast thats how It feels when I'm with you guys. He also said so they don't feel left out, your trying to get them to befriend me, 'and thats not how society works.'"

His voice trailed off, and then his cellphone rang. Jay pulled it out, answering the phone and putting it to his ear without saying anything. "...Jay?" "Yuh-huh?" Jay answered. "Kurt's here...And, since you've answered this call, I'm guessing you've ditched school?" It was his sister. "What? Why is he there?" Jay furrowed his brow, thoroughly confused. "What did he say?" "One question at a time, Jay. Jeez," Jay rolled his eyes. "Mkay, he said he needs to talk to you. Like, right now. At this moment." Jay sighed. "Okay, I'll come home in a bit." he muttered, hanging up. "Guess what?" he chirped, taking Nicole's hand.
