( xD ) Jay nodded, pulling Nicole along as he began walking again. It wasn't long before they were at a bar called, "Dayton Bar", named after the original owner. Jay stepped inside, and was immediately greeted by a male who looked somewhat older than Jay. "Hey there, Jay-bird." said the male, grinning. "...Uh, you brought a girl to drink with you?" "No," Jay shrugged. "Nicole doesn't drink. I just brought her along, Willis," Willis nodded. "Hmkay," He shrugged and walked off. "Ah, don't let anyone scare you, okay, Nicole?" Jay turned back to Nicole, looking a bit worried. "If they know you're scared, they'll...Well, just stay close to me. Got it?" He blinked at her.

"'Kay," She agreed, blinking as she looked around. "Can I ask.. How did you get thatr nickname?" Nicole asked, absent-mindedly. She had heard alot of people call him that, and was curious. Only then did she realize that a 'Jay' is a type of bird.
( She's rather.. clueless. xD )

( xD ) Jay blinked at Nicole, leading her over to a table, and began explaining:"J-Jonah...was the one who called me 'Jay-bird' first, and it was a one time thing. Then, Zooey discovered that there was a bird called a 'Blue Jay', and she realized my name was in the bird's name. She called me 'Blue Jay' for some time, until Jonah told Zooey that he had called me 'Jay-bird' once. Then, it was her who had come up with it, and then, she always calls me Jay-bird, so everyone else caught on. It stuck,"

( D: Aww. ) "I guess," Jay sighed, and blinked when a sidecar was placed in front of him. He had almost forgotten that, usually, whenever Jay came to this certain bar, he was given a sidecar for free. It was probably why he came back. Jay pulled the gl*censored* cup up to his lips, taking a small drink of it before putting it down again. It tasted...almost sour, which was natural, but it also tasted like it had none of the sweetness it usually had. "Wanna try it?" Jay asked, holding his drink out to Nicole.

"Sorry I dragged you along...I would probably be an alcoholic or something along those lines if not for my friends... Did you know alcohol is a drug?"
