Jay blinked, glancing at Nicole. "Oh...right, um," Reluctantly, he lifted some of the weight on the gas pedal, even though he wanted to slam down on it. If the car had a V8 engine...then, the car would've leapt forward and probably knocked both Jay and Nicole forward. Kurt's car...it had a V8 engine...and... "Nicole?" Jay cleared his throat.

Jay stared at her for a second, then swiped his leg under her legs, holding her like she was a baby. "Sure," he said, walking towards the hospital. People stared at him when he walked in, but he didn't care. He just wanted to see one of his friends.

( Hokai. o3o ) "Too late," Jay breathed. He saw Hideo then, standing there and standing with his phone. Jay set Nicole down on her feet and rushed towards him. "What happened?!" he asked. Hideo struggled to explain. "Kurt, he, um, got shot, and...he's almost dead." "He's dead?!" Jay cried. "No! You didn't hear me right, he's al-" Hideo blinked. Jay was like the flash when he was worried; he had already bolted down the hall and towards a nurse, who told him which room Kurt was in.

Jay was kneeling down next to Kurt's bed, clutching his hand tightly. "...Why are you acting so...cheerful" he asked, wiping a tear away. "Because Im weird." Kurt said faintly.
