"Um," Jay blinked. "No, not really..." His friends chuckled. "Listen, Nicole, I'm gonna be away for a little while more. Maybe an hour. I'm gonna be at Kurt's place. Don't bother coming over; we're breaking and entering, not asking for permission to go."

"...We're what?" Gage asked, blinking his wide eyes. He was instantly hushed by a slap on the back of the head from Oliver.

Jay blinked at his phone. "She hung up on me," he said. His friends laughed, but Jay's glare shut them up. "Alright, I'm going."

Hideo and the others began to get up.

"Alone." Jay hissed through his teeth.

"You lied to Nicole?" Oliver asked, cocking an eyebrow.

"No. I just changed my mind." Jay answered, walking out the door and closing it tightly behind him. After he was sure he wasn't being followed, he actually started walking towards Kurt's home. Or, at least, where he used to live.

Jay was sitting in the middle of the floor, surrounded by a bunch of papers and other things. The walls were covered in what looked like to be notes, drawings, sheet music, newspaper articles, and so and so. When Nicole burst through the door, Jay slowly lifted his head to look at her.

"Yes?" he answered calmly, biting back tears. Next to him was a violin, and he was apparently reading a journal. It was Kurt's, of course, but it didn't look much like a journal.

"Sitting here, reading everything Kurt's kept," Jay replied, looking back down at the journal and closing it gently. He slowly got to his feet, as if getting up too fast might do something bad. "What are you doing here? ...In your pajamas?"

"I was looking for my run-away fiance." She murmured, blinking at him. "Why are you looking at all that?"

( xDD It should!
...Er, why? o_o *blinks at siggy* )

"Runaway?" Jay repeated, then he couldn't help but chuckle. "I...was looking through Kurt's things. To save them, that is. I don't know what his parents are going to do with them, so I decided to be selfish and keep them for myself." He motioned to the walls. "Look at all that. Some of that is poetry, things cut out of books, newspapers, pictures, notes, stuff like that. I wonder why Kurt kept it all..."

"Should I just leave you with all this.. stuff??"

( o__o Right. )

"I don't know," Jay shrugged. "If you want, you can stay. I don't mind you being here. Being alone isn't very pleasant anymore,"

Nicole shrugged, "Alright. But why did you randomly leave your little sister in the hostipal just to come here and look at... stuff?"

"I thought she'd be okay with you," Jay murmured, looking back down at the journal in his hands. "And, I don't know. I normally wouldn't have done it, but..." He sighed, looking at a wall. "His room's green. Unnatural color for him, don't you think?"
