"That does sound good. I will go get the tickets." Jason strolled up to the counter. He bought the tickets and then went back to Lauren. "Want popcorn? or candy? or a drink? We have 15 minutes until the movie starts."

Kione smiled. "Yeah i think i am starting to get it." He really liked working with Avery. She was so patient with him. "So. . . where will my section be? Or am i just going to stay with you the whole time, i wouldnt mind that at all." He said smiling.

{{{??? iKaii? Name change? }}} Avery smiled at him. "Well today, You are following me. Tomorrow I'm not working, so you don't have to work. Or you can call it over time and get your own tables. But after tomorrow, you are my trainee for 2 weeks. Once that two weeks is over, you get your own hours and your own section." Avery grabbed the two drinks. "Could you grab a basket of rolls please? They are on the counter behind you." Avery double checked her pad to make sure the drinks were right, then she headed over to the couple's table. |

Kione smoothly grabbed the basket of rolls. -Maybe she isnt interested- he thought. -Well Im not in the position to be trying to start any kind of relationships anyway-. He handed the basket to Avery, smiling. "So if i stay over the garage in your house, uh where's your room?"

Avery laughed. does that mean he's interested? She thought. Avery took the basket. She set both the drinks and the basket down on the table for the couple. "Here you guys go. Can I get you guys an appetizer?" The couple asked for the Cozze en Bianco. "Coming on up." Avery scribbled down their order. She walked towards the kitchen. "It's two doors down from yours. The bathroom is in between us." She smiled at him.

"Oh ok." He said. Kione steadily walked behind her and slipped in a puddle of water. He stumbled a bit, actually almost fell. When he got a hold of himself he felt the weight on his waist sharply decrease. He felt around for his gun and couldnt find it. He was shocked to find it on the ground directly between himself and Avery. He quickly snatched it put it in the holster and looked up at her nervously.

Avery had seen the whole thing. She took a deep breath. Maybe he doesn't like me..... Avery was a bit scared now. She didn't mention anything about the gun to him though. "I will get the mop and get rid of that water. It's dangerous being there. I will be back in a second." She ran and got the mop. When, she came back, she quickly mopped up all the water. "Much better. Are you ok?"

Shiiiiiiiit "Uh yeah i'm good. But uh is there anyway i can just go chill at the house? i guess get comfortable with the room and unpack?" What a joke. he thought. He didnt even have any luggage. Just the bag he had on his back. He'd do anything to get out of this situation.

"Our shift doesn't end for another 2 hours. It's only 8." Avery wondered what the gun was for. Did he want to leave to go use it? She was kind of scared. She wished she could just ask him about it, but she didn't have the courage to. The cook called out Avery's order for the couple. She went and grabbed it, then headed to the table to give it to her custoimers. She had her smile back on her face. "Can I get you anything else?" She asked them. "Alright. Well, I will be back in a bit to make sure things are still ok." She headed back to the kitchen. What was she going to do.

Kione was lost for words for a moment. He rushed into the kitchen. They were the only two in there at the moment. He grabbed her hand to turn her around. A little forceful, but he didnt know what else to do, so he embraced her. His face was flushed. He whispered into her ear "It's not what it looks like i swear."

Avery lost her ability for words. She searched for something to say. Her feelings were confused. She was happy to be in the arms of a guy she had liked since the first moment she saw him, but also, she was scared to be embraced by a guy who had a gun on him. She wanted to just find her voice and ask him what he meant and what was going on and why he had a gun, but she knew now was not the tim and here was not the place.

Why wont she say anything?! He didnt know what to do. He let her go a quickly, and left the kitchen without ever looking her in the eye. "Uh Miss Lisa I'm going to go get some air, I'll be back in like 5 minutes, 10 tops." He walked out the front door, extremely flustered. The rain had stopped, so he lit a cigarette and continued to walk down the block to collect his thoughts.

Avery watched him leave. She wanted to run after him, but she had tables to serve. She checked on the couple. They ordered meals and she put the order in to the cook. She kept looking to see if he would come back. She hoped he would.

He sat on the wet pavement for a little. He felt around in his pocket for the dime he had left. He rolled it up and smoked it slowely. He felt so tense. He couldnt understand how a girl could make him feel this way. As he began to lose himself, he also became calmer. He threw the roach on the floor and stepped on it. He then searched in his bag for his body spray to rid his cloths of the stench of marijuana. After he sprayed himself down, and put visine in his eyes he walked bak into the restaurant high as a kite. He was however very good at concealing it. He saw Avery as soon as h walked in and locked eyes with her but quickly looked away and went into the backroom to get his apron.
