Rules meant order, some kind of guidelines to follow in the chaos that was all around them; rules meant that things were settling down, that the alphas would soon have enough guidance over the weres to calm them all down. Everyone was tense and nervous, even with the steps already taken, and he listened intently to find out what he would be following for the duration of his time in the strange place. ~~~~ [[And yes. Skellig doesn't have very much of a mind. >> What there is is utter mush. \|D]] Skellig began scrutinising the wolves and people around him. They all seemed normal enough, but there would surely be secret agents, sent in by the evil, super-powerful wolves to spy and crush any form of rebellion that might rise up against them. He would need to keep his alien-ideas a secret from anyone he wasn't positive he could trust. However, trust was easily won by the blonde-haired boy, so that wouldn't be hard. Had anyone asked him what he was thinking, he would have said so without hesitation, but such behaviour had caused him hurt in the past. He wasn't one to learn from his mistakes, though, so it didn't really matter that his personality usually resulted in things going haywire. ~~~ Shaunie nodded in response, greatful to Serena for allowing her to explain. ''The rules are simple. The kind of fighting you all did just there will be strictly prohibited; there will be no bloodshed, no death, so long as we are in charge.'' It had taken some effort to say 'we' instead of 'I', but Shaunie felt it would not go unnoticed. ''Instead, pre-arranged fights, with strict regulations, will help you drain out your anger.'' With that she stopped, waiting on Serena to pick up where she left off and continue. ~~~ Lore seemed to be thinking about something, so Lucia remained silent as she listened to the alphas' words. Could pre-arranged fights really be safe? Were they any better than the violence she had just seen? Lucia had been about to doubt the leader who was not her own, but Serena seemed to trust her, so she put up with it. Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually. ... ... Screw it. HYE. ♥

Normal User Posts: 783	((I'm worse. /hopes this isn't necroposting/ ._.)) Krael sighed inwardly. Rules. Just fantastic. There was finally some real action, an actual fight, and the alphas wanted to take the fun away. What was the matter with a little old fashioned brawling? It wasn't like they had to fight too, the sissies... But wait. What was this about prearranged fights...? Krael felt himself perk up a little. Did the alphess mean to say that the fights would be allowed to continue? In his excitement, Krael chose to disregard the fact that she had also said "no bloodshed or death." ~~~ Damien was confused. Hold on a second... Did the alphas just break up a huge fight, only to tell us all that we could keep fighting anyway? He absolutely did not see the point. How would this benefit anyone? And didn't bloodshed and fighting go hand in hand? If the point of the prearranged fights was to let the werewolves let off some steam, then fine. That part made sense. What Damien didn't understand was how they could truly let out all their anger if they were so focused on not hurting each other. Maybe it made sense to the weres that enjoyed fighting, but Damien just didn't get how gentle, no blood or real violence fights would help anything. A fight's a fight, I suppose. I just hope it doesn't go terribly wrong when some fool takes it too far. ~~~ Serena nodded in agreement. "And if anyone is to be found breaking our rules, everyone here will pay the price. In other words, if anyone comes to serious harm in a fight due to the other party's inability to restrain his or herself, the whole system will be abolished and we will ban any and all forms of fighting." She nodded seriously, then looked to Shaunie in case she had forgotten something. ~~~ Lore was glad of the new rules. If the alphas were serious about this- which he believed they were- then everything might just turn out okay. This would mean no one would be able to attack him, or they would risk having the ability to fight at all taken away from them. Another plus was that, if these fights were contained properly, Lore would not have to take part in them, and all the participants should be satisfied enough that they wouldn't even think of coming after him. He felt a small, tentative smile lift the corners of his mouth as he stole a relieved glance at Lucia. ((/prays I don't get in trouble if this is a necropost/ Either way, it's sort of a fail. Sorreh. :/)) .

Now, Kira, who is worse? c8]] Tenebrae smiled for the first time that day, wondering if things really would work themselves out. If the fights were pre-arranged, while he doubted things would go well, exactly, it would be better than the mass fighting that had just occurred. Much safer, in the least, although he highly doubted a pair of blood-thirsty wolves could be safe under any circumstances. His indigo eyes seemed to brighten considerably, despite the fact there was no guarantee things would go well. He would just have to trust in his alpha, and the other pack's alpha as well. After all, with the two of them there, nothing could go wrong. Could it? ~~~~~ Skellig turned to Damien and poked his shoulder, whispering conspiratorially. ''I think they're aliens and they're organising these fights so they can brainwash us all.'' His face was solemn, and so perfectly serious it was almost laughable. ''I mean, where's the point in 'em? Sure, if you want to let off some steam, just go punch a wall or something. I'm telling you, man, aliens.'' He nodded, looking at the alphas with obvious weariness. ''Definitely aliens. Only aliens could brainwash everyone into stopping still right in the middle of fighting.'' ~~~~~ Shaunie had to restrain herself from breathing a sigh of relief. They had appeared co-ordinated and together, as though they were one leader instead of two. It couldn't have gone better. ''That will be all.'' She turned to Serena and smiled pleasantly, pleased that things had gone so well. She had honestly expected some kind of opposition, or complaint, but then again the other weres were likely still processing this information. ~~~~~ Lucia grinned, glad that Lore appeared to be somewhat happy. He looked like he was smiling, in the least... Kind of. No matter, she'd soon have him smiling properly. She'd do her best to be funny and happy around him. ''Well, this looks like good news to me. They obviously know what they're doing.'' [[/ohgodsofail but I remember nothing of this roleplay. 8I/]] Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. I really want to post something, but I've been sitting here staring at the screen for literally 10 minutes trying to think of something decent to say.
