Zephyr was tired, as the small group of wolves had been traveling all night. it had been light for a little while now. "We're out of the pack's territory." He could smell an easily noticeable difference. He was tired, and he yawned, his mouth opening wide to show all his sharp teeth.

He hoped they would stop soon. he was overly exhausted and could barely walk straight anymore. he even stumbled sometimes, which meant he was very tired. He'd been trained as a hunter, so when he was fully awake he had no trouble walking through rough, unknown terrain. He wondered if he was the only one who was this tired or if the others were being effected by the long night as well.

Mireille was leaning against Amirah heavily.  The twin's eyes glowed with equal exhaustion.

"I... Agree," Amirah said finally, panting from the weight of her sister on her shoulder.

Mireille blinked, as if just waking up and added, "I think we should stop now.  We're sleeping on our feet."  she soomehow gathered the strength to lift herself off of her sister's shoulder and walked on her own.

Faelan padded up from the rear.  "If we go much further, we'll be too weak to defend ourselves.  Let's stop at the next available den."

"Sounds great to me..." Zephyr said quietly. His eyes closed and he slowed for a second before he forced himself to open his eyes. He shook his head, trying to ward off some sleepiness.

After walking for a small distance, he spotted a den that had been abandoned. "There's a den over there, seems like it's been abandoned for a while." He walked to it, not even looking to see if the others were following. He was focused on getting rest, and he wanted it now.  

Once he reached the den, he sat, swaying a bit from over exhaustion.

Amirah walked over wihout hesitation.  She curled up next to a wall and sighed with relief.  the rock was cold, but her fur was thick would keep her warm.  Scents wafted to her form the opening of the den, but she was too tired to acknowledge them.  She closed her eyes, feeling the comfort of sleep begin to wash over her.

Mireille was a bit more hesitant.  She carefully scented the air and studied her surroundings before padding in to join her sister.  The den was cool and smelled slightly musty, but it was more than enough for her.  With a contented sigh to rival her sister's she sat down at the mouth of the den and waited for sleep to come.  It didn't take long.

Faelan bit back a yawn.  His tail thumped on the ground as he joined the others in the den.  He settled towards the back, where it was darkest and considerably cooler.  He tried to keep his eyes open and make sure that the other got in safely, but couldn't fight the offer sleepiness was making with his brain.  Traveling all day and night could really tire a wolf, he decided, with or without Sweet Flower.  That was his last thought before a thick, white cloud enveloped his mind in sleep--a peace well-welcome.

Zephyr grunted. "Tell her to come here - we're all here and most of us," me raised his head, a slightly annoyed ex
pression on his face, "are asleep."

Zephyr was never happy or nice when he was tired - mostly he was just mean because he was half asleep and not thinking what he said all the way through.

((Sorry that Zephyr was mean. He's just grumpy.))

"It's been abandoned for over a year!" Zephyr yelled after him. Whatever. if he wants to be that way, fine. I'm going to sleep. And he did, almost immediately. He didn't even dream or move. He hadn't slept like this in over a year. Back when this den was occupied...

 When Zephyr awoke again, Codi wasn't back yet nd he seemed to be the only one awake. He remembered what He'd said to codi and felt kind of guilty. There'd been no reason to bee that way. But Zephyr wasn't the same wolf when he was tired, and he knew it.He laid his head back down, waiting for Codi to return or for someone to wake up.

Codi got back to the new den, and Lilly was still sitting exactly as he had left her. When she heard his steps, she opened her eyes and looked over at him, "Where's the others?"
"At some stupid den. They were too tired to continue, I don't give a damn if they ever get here. That damn Zephyr can rot in hell for all I care." He growled before walking in the den.
Lilly sat there silently and listened, then looked back up at the stars after he went and layed down.

Now that Zephyr was well rested, he figured that he could probably go see the new den at least. With a silent prayer that the others would be safe, he got up and began tracking Codi's scent. He got to the den soon, since it wasn't very far from the den everybody else was in. 

He was about to go in when he heard Codi saying that he could rot in hell. Instead of going inside and telling Codi just how he felt about that, using words or something else, he sat outside of the den, staying quiet. He was curious to know what else Codi had to say.
