Seeing the bigger and juicier target the infection forms swarmed over Rhi, except the two that had infected the two marines. The two combat forms instead chose to attack Frederick.

Rhi slashed at the infection forms, though quite a few popped on her energy shields, taking out most of their charge.
(Um.... did that make sense? XD Rhi's energy sheild's= greatly reduced.)

(Yes that made sense, don't worry XD) Frederick punched one of the combat forms in the face and kicked the other one in the knee, breaking it's leg. A rogue infection forms latched onto the front of his helmet, blinding him. (He has no shields left) The remaining infection forms swarmed over Rhi's face.

The surviving combat form (The one that didn't get punched in the head by a spartan) struck Frederick several times. Frederick managed to crush the infection form and fired heavily into the flood, which died quickly. The last of the infection forms popped on either Rhi's shields or her energy sword. (Or the moa's beak XD)

The Marine got in, kicking an infection form as he did. Frederick blew up two of the carrier forms, but the third and fourth were getting dangerously close. "Drive!" Frederick yelled. In between the Warthog and the bunker were dozens of combat forms, several carrier forms, a tank form and uncountable infection forms.

Combat forms ran towards the Warthog in twos and three's, all being blown to bits or turned into roadkill. A carrier form exploded near the Warthog, shattering the windshield. Infection forms had begun to latch onto the Warthog as it drove past, crawling around and attacking Rhi, Frederick and the marine.

Frederick smacked an infection form off his turret and stomped on another. He fired rockets into two infected Elites as they drove past. The marine shot the infection forms on the Warthog with short bursts from his assault rifle, but there were more and more of them.
