As Rhi exited the building several infection forms swarmed towards her. Two of the marines had been infected by the infection forms that had followed after Rhi and Frederick, and were trying to drive the Warthog. The third was firing at more infection forms nearby the Warthog where his comrades had become flood.

The marine yelled and jumped to the side, used to being attacked by Elites. The combat forms driver finally figure out how to go forwards and accelerated, randomly spun a few times, before smashing back into the medic building.

The marine nodded and fired into the infection forms, shredding several. The flood in the Warthog gurgled angrily at each other and the one in the turret fired randomly.

It turned the turret more-or-less towards her and sprayed fire. The driver flood tried to drive forwards but still had his foot on the brake.

Rhi sprang to the side to avoid most of the fire, her energy shields taking the rest. She launched herself sideways at the combat form in the turret and twisted in midair to stab at it.

The Warthog suddenly shot forwards-saving the combat forms life-and did a donut, crashing into a bunker. It then began to drive more or less towards the front lines.
