The Sergeant followed. Several grunts cheered as they saw Rhi charging towards the flood, then made confused sounds as they saw the Sergeant following behind.

(Double post! What does it mean?! XD) The combat forms were killed by Rhi's assault. A Carrier form dived onto Rhi from one of the rocks. The Sergeant quickly fired a grenade at the rock it had jumped from. The rock exploded and chunks of stone knocked the Carrier off Rhi and partially shielded her from the explosion, although it took out her shield.

The Sergeant fired another grenade past Rhi. It exploded and popped all the infection forms. It also killed a grunt who was in the process of becoming infected.

The Sergeant hid behind the same rock as wild plasma fire hit the ground. An infected Elite ran around beside them and fired a needler at Rhi.

The infected Elite sprang to the side. Two more combat forms rushed at Rhi. The Sergeant rolled under the arm of a fourth combat form and stuck a frag grenade under it's arm. He dived to the ground as it exploded.

The combat form died and slumped to the ground. The Sergeant fired a grenade at the needler flood, killing it and flinging it's corpse several meters.

The second combat form blocked Rhi's slashed with it's arm-causing it's arm to be cut off. The Sergeant finished it with a melee to the chest.

"Well, four in your case." The Sergeant commented before high-fiving Rhi. He then ducked as several plasma charges hit the ground nearby. The Sergeant scrambled for cover behind a Rock, but was hit in the back twice first. Several infected Brutes and Elites headed towards them, some of them firing off plasma repeaters.

One of the Brute combat forms was sniped by a Jackal sniper. Suddenly two more combat forms were taken out by snipers. "Rhi, I think we should get off this slope-it seems the covenant have formed a large firing block and are firing at this hill!" The Sergeant said. Suddenly dozens of Carriers exploded nearby as a hail of plasma shredded them. An infected brute corpse, half destroyed by a fuelrod landed beside Rhi. The remainder of the charging combat forms were killed by a Revenant.
