Two combat forms tried pathetically to jump up and hit Rhi's banshee. Two Hunters and the Wraith pounded the infection form wave relentlessly, blowing up scores of them. The infection forms then began to split up into separate swarms, meaning they were not such big targets and that the vulnerable grunts and Skirmishers on the front lines could be flanked. The Jackal snipers fired back from some rocks behind the front lines, taking out Carriers and combat forms.

A swarm of Infection forms chased after Rhi slowly, but could not keep up and ended up drifting back down again. The Sergeant threw a plasma grenade he had picked up from the ground. It stuck an infection form and detonated, taking it and the rest of it's swarm out.

More infection forms flew up towards Rhi, but ended up being gunned down by the banshee. The Sergeant ducked for cover instinctively as Rhi's banshee strafed nearby.

The flood tried to attack Rhi, several clusters swarming up towards her. Two combat forms fired plasma repeaters in the banshee's general direction. A Carrier form detonated near the Sergeant. Several grunts screamed as they were infected.

The combat forms continued to shoot at Rhi's banshee. The second banshee flew past Rhi, firing it's fuel rod at a swarm of infection forms.

The combat forms were shredded by the banshee fire. The Sergeant kicked a downed combat form to finish it off, firing at the infection forms infecting the last of the nearby Skirmisher group.

Dozens of infection forms were popped. The Ultras, Brutes and a surplus of Grunts moved around by the Wraith and Hunters, forming a shield and firing into the infection forms and Carriers. The Wraiths and Hunters bombarded the flood with explosions.
