The Sergeant fired at a swarm of approaching infection forms, but when they were finished off by some Elite minors, he followed Soz.

If a man dedicates his life to good deeds and the welfare of others, he will die unthanked and unremembered. If he exercises his genius bringing misery and death to billions, his name will echo through the millennia for a hundred lifetimes. Infamy is always more preferable to ignominy-Fabius Bile

Soz ran to the next cover, stabbing at an infection form that was in his way.

The Sergeant tackled Soz to the ground.
A ghost zoomed past were Soz had been standing, guns smashing the rocks in front of it. Three Sentinels flew after it, beams firing.

Soz went to attack the marine, then realized what had just happened and stopped. "Thank."

"Don't mention it." The Sergeant stood up. "At all."

Soz nodded, not entirely sure if he'd translated what he'd said correctly. He got up and began to head towards the next cover, carefully this time.

An Elite minor ran past them and leaped onto a Sentinel. It stabbed it several times with it's energy dagger. The Sentinel crashed to the ground.

A massive white beam fired from the top of the Palace; spreading out to enevelop all of the Cruisers and Frigates in Forseti's atmosphere. They were slowly dragged down towards the planet; the ground shook and the nearby plateau above the Palace ripped open, slowly opening.

All over the Comm channels were Covenant and UNSC distress calls, regarding 'Unknown Geometric gravitational Disturbances'

The Arbiter watched as the Gravity well from the Palace began to draw in the smaller vessels; Phantoms, Spirits, Pelicans, Hornets, Banshees, Longswords, Seraphs, even the rare UNSC Vulture, many of them met thier doom after crashing into the ground. A damaged Covenant Cruiser exploded in midair and the wreckage was pulled towards the troops on the ground.

To make matters worse, Massive robots emerged from the Plateau's openings; Sentinel Enforcers (look it up, they're from Halo 2) They began grabbing vehicles in thier claws and firing rockets en masse at the enemy forces.

(Enjoy :3)

Whether we wanted it or not, we\'ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let\'s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta\'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He\'s well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

Rhi flew her banshee into the ground, a little too hard, and sprang out as soon as she realized what was happening.

(She can do that, right?)

(I've jumped out of a banshee onto an enemy scorpion, boarded the scorpion and blew it up. So yeah Rhi can just jump out)

Sergeant Harrenly lowered his plasma repeater and stared at the huge white beam pulling in the aircraft. "Woah...and I thought the Flood were bad..."

Sergeant Harrenly ducked as a Sentinel beam scoured the ground nearby, slaying a combat form.

Plasma fire raked the Sentinel and it flew off to vanquish the Skirmishers assailing it.
Sergeant Harrenly fired at a Sentinel to their right before trying to raise the UNSC base with his comm. "UNSC Base Forseti this is Sergeant Harrenly of Tango company! I was assisting some of the covenant forces against the flood when a huge Forunner structure began to destroy all aircraft and released...robots which are scouring flood, covenant and human alike! What are your orders?!"
Three grunts ran past, several combat forms chasing them.

The combat form gurgled in pain as the needles exploded. It altered course and leaped over to Soz swiping at him viciously.
