Sidera felt a faint tingling sensation, followed by stinging pain, as the 'waking up device'- its correct name was far too complex for him to remember it after just waking up- was set into action. A thin blade pierced the bottom of his foot, before being pulled out. It was painful, but certainly not cripplingly so. It was just enough to awaken him from his sleep. Sitting up, he pulled the needles that had been pierced, unmoving, into his wrist for years, and looked around for the droid. When he saw it, and what was outside the window, he realized why he had been woken up. The earth was fast approaching, and the droid was entering selfdestruct mode. As of yet, things were not looking good. He moved to the controls, hoping to persuade the droid to slow down, but stopped when the droid's red light began flashing. Not good, and most definitely not getting better. The alien's golden eyes widened as he realized he could see lights of what were presumably cities, but he closed them when green grass and brown structures- trees- began approaching at alarming speed. As he was about to hope they had stopped, a massive jolt shot him into the side of the ship, but before he had even hit it, an earsplitting sound of metal crunching and important instruments being smashed and exploded rang through the air. By the end of the carnage, only a few minutes had passed, but the ship lay unrecognisable, half of it torn out and lying strewn around in metal shrapnel and destruction. The ship was intended to be a one use item, as was clearly evident. Sidera himself was barely even conscious, his pale skin spattered with blood and soot. Particularly large wounds in his stomach and right shoulder were causing him to lose a lot of blood, and that was without considering the other cuts, bruises and scratches. Not only that, he hadn't exactly been knocked about lightly, and there was a possibility for broken bones. Overall, alone on an alien planet, and lying out in the open, his chances were slim. Had he not had a natural ability to withstand pain, he would probably be dead. As it was, he couldn't move, could only lie and look at the world around him as his vision darkened. [[Uhhhhh. Sorry... about... going a li'l overboard. o _ o]]

((Lol its okay. Im sorry I took so long to post. My laptop died and I couldn't find the wire XP))
"No I can't live, ooh, without you-"
Ellowyn bobbed her curly head along with the song as she drove up the highway. A sudden pothole in the road caused her music to sudden cut off. "What? No." She said looking down at the radio and hitting it, which of course didn't help. She chewed the inside of her cheek and looked at her GPS whose screen was flickering. "Jesus Christ." Ellowyn muttered to herself as she pulled her car to the side of the road and tapped on the GPS on her dashboard. Just great, it being stupid, she was planning on heading up to her families cottage and all she needed was for the stupid thing to tell her which street to think. You'd think she'd remember after spending her childhood summer vacations there but it'd been years, and the place was probably far from good condition.
She rolled her blue eyes and leaned over and grabbed the map from the glove box. Why couldn't things just be easy? She thought scrunching up her freckled nose as she stepped out of the black vehicle and attempting to open the map on the hood. She ran a hand through her curly hair as she tried to find the street she was on. She should have never left the city, she could have been hanging out with her friends, or even better be anywhere else other than this stupid highway.
Sighing she looked away from the map and looked up to the blue sky. She squinted when she suddenly saw something streaking across it. Her eyes widening when she realized the thing would land relatively near to her. She braced herself against her car when the thing crash landed in the forest next to her. "No way." She muttered. She quickly crumped up the map and threw it in her car and she leaved in to grab a blue jean jacket that matched the skinny jeans she was wearing now. She quickly locked her car and headed off into the trees. "No friggin' way." She said to herself as she crunched the brambles under her black combat boots.
A hand flew to her face when the smell of smoke hit her nose. She fanned it from her face and squinted seeing a destroyed...something. She had no idea what the hell it was. She bent over and picked up a large branch and poked at some some of the metal infront of her. She walked up to the large wreck, coughing at the smoke. "Unbelievable." She said, she had just found a UFO. Or maybe it was a satelite, it didn't matter. She found it and that was cool enough. She poked the space craft with her sticked and let out a little jump off surprise when the thing gave away to reveal a body inside. "Holy crap!" she said as she squatted down to look. The being looked human, thought it was a sooty bloody mess. It was also clearly male, that much she could get by looking at it.
She raised an eyebrow quizzically wondering if he was alive. She poked it with the branch, testing to see if it had any movement. Probably not the best thing to do, but for all she knew it could be dangerous, or some sort of weird Men in Black scenario when she'd help the guy, and he'd in turn eat her. But she was getting ahead of herself.
((Is that alright? I really had no idea how someone would respond to a UFO landing. I'd just run away, or poke whatever it was with a stick XD))

[[ROFLMAO. Ty would like... Poke it with a stick too, so. XD Also. Ty's yolk was such a failure compared to yours. >>]] Sidera had been about to black out, to just let himself slip away. That is, until he heard a strange voice, and realized that should he die there, amongst the remains of his craft, the earth people would dissect him or something, and his soul would never pass on. He had to do something to get away from there, especially now an earth person had arrived. When he felt something touch him- the branch she had used, although he didn't know it- he tensed up and opened his eyes. In the semi-darkness and smoke, they gave off a faint golden glow. Normally, it would be brighter, but the light of his eyes was gradually growing dimmer and dimmer. He didn't fully understand her words, besides that for some reason she was calling refuse sacred. He knew, though, that she wasn't like him, just at the fuzzy glance he got. She was female, he could tell, but she looked to be one hell of a strong female. Compared to his people, even average muscularity was alarming, especially with this person weilding the strange brown weapon. He closed his eyes and pressed his hand against the ground, attempting to push himself up. He quickly gave up, groaning quietly before falling silent. He appeared to have fallen unconscious, until his golden eyes opened, almost human looking in their lack of light. His ex pression was unreadable, and his head turned only slightly to the side, but otherwise he hadn't moved at all. He didn't know how, but he had to get rid of this person, whoever she was. She was probably a scout for the earth leader, and he hadn't had good experiences with leaders of his own planet, let alone a different species. He found himself too exhausted to ask her using audible words to leave, or rather, attempt to 'tell' her, but his kind had a solution. Through the fog within his mind, he navigated around the red mist and sent a thought to her, although it was surprisingly difficult. He didn't know she wouldn't be able to answer, that humans didn't communicate as they did, but he did think she must have been particularly stupid, to be so difficult to talk to. Maybe their leadership weren't very clever people. The message he sent was simple, he doubted she could understand something complex, and it was short, for he doubted he'd be able to manage more. Leave. Now. It was, perhaps, just a little blunt. With it out, though, the golden eyes that had been focused directly, unblinkingly on her closed, and despite his efforts not to, Sidera found himself enter yet another deep sleep, even if it was a natural sleep this time.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually. ... ... Screw it. HYE. ♥

((LMAO 'Strange brown weapon' XD))
Ellowyn stepped back a moment when the guy suddenly opened his eyes and tried to sit up. His eyes were like nothing she had ever seen before. They were glowing for godsakes, although they were getting dim.
When he fell back down to the ground she stepped forward again and squatted down so she could get a better look at him, trying to check what was wrong with him. He was bruised, or at least she thought they were bruises and not soot. He also had a nasty looking gnash on his stomach. It was probably something she could help him with considering she had probably hurt herself worse than he had, and she had the scars to prove it.
He closed his eyes again and Ellowyn was tempted to poke him with her stick again. But his eyes quickly fluttered open again, this time without the crazy looking glow.
Leave. Now.
Ellowyn blinked at that. Where the hell had that come from. She whipped her curly head around, eyes scanning the area for the voice. But there was nothing so the only one who could talk to her was...
She turned her eyes back to him. "No way." She breathed, her eyes widening slightly as she looked at him. His eyes closed again and she paniced. She couldn't just leave him, it, whatever he was here. He'd die, and others would show up eventually, she couldn't have been the only one to see this thing fall from the sky.
Oh EJ, whatever will you do? She thought to herself as she looked at the guy, forgetting the stick and placing a hand on his shoulder and giving him a little shake. "Hey buddy. Sweetheart wake up." She said talking to him for the first time. She'd only just realized she'd been talking to herself the entire time and now felt like a nutcase.
Her other hand went to her eyebrow where she touched the scar at the arch seperating her eyesbrow, something she did when she was nervous. How long would it take for other to show up. She couldn't leave him here to bleed out, for some reason she didn't want anyone else to find him. She could probably carry him back to her car if she really wanted too, then she could take him to the cabin and fix him up there. She didn't want to take him to hospital, they'd ask to many question. What would she tell them, she found him lying in crashes UFO? That wouldn't work.
He was pretty skinny, it'd be easier if he could support his own weight but she wasn't too sure of that. If she backed her car up she could probably lie him in the backseat.
She shook him once more, okay that was it, she'd been here like five maybe ten minutes other would show eventually. She stood up and shoved the rest of the metal away form him, which was surprisingly easy. She let out a little gasp when she saw what looked like parts of a robot. She quickled shook her head and took the hair band from her wrist and tied her hair back into a high pony. "Okay kid, lets get you out of here." She said kicking over another piece of the ruined space craft. She looked at him again and wondered how to hell to move him.
((Yeah, I wasn't really sure what to do XP))

[[Do whatever. xD Sidera hasn't got much of a choice now anyway, so it'd be more realistic to do what you think. xD]] [[And yes. Her stick. Is a deadly weapon capable of mass destruction. >>]] Sidera lay unmoving, his dim thoughts darkening. He was faintly aware that she was still there, could still feel her presence, and he heard her murmuring things every once in a while. Whether or not he understood her words, though, they sounded... good. He didn't know what a sweetheart was, nor what a buddy was, but he wanted her to leave no matter what they meant. She was of the earth people, and that meant bad. That meant she would hurt him, or dissect him, or vivisect him, or something along those lines. He didn't know what a kid was, either, but he gathered she was trying to get him out of somewhere. That itself wasn't the part he was worried about, it was where they were going. He had heard stories about the earth people before, from elders on his planet that sometimes picked up readings of earth frequencies; they killed each other without regret, murdered, stole from one another, and had no order. Those that committed crimes were sometimes killed, but where Sidera came from, the exilation happened in place of such a penalty, since death was almost certain anyway. There was much even the elders didn't know, though, and much that was unknown. It was in the human nature to be afraid of the unknown, and that is one trait shared by the aliens, too. Because of that fact, he was reluctant to wake up from his slumber, from the numbness that was washing over him, and wasn't even sure he could. Still, he might be able to send one last message. One last one, and if he died, then he died knowing he'd tried. He carefully prepared what he needed to say, not wanting to have to come up with it as he said it, wasting energy. For some reason, he doubted she'd listen to him no matter what he said. She seemed to be a very persistent earth person, but maybe that was normal for them. I said... to leave... Go... The voice of his mind was usually softer than his normal voice, but this time it was almost inaudible, and itdrained the last of his reserves. Silence finally filled his ears, a fact of which he was greatful, and he no longer felt pain. He was numb, and it felt good.

The voice was in her head again., though it was softer, gentler. "Ha, like I'd just leave you to lie here and die." Ellowyn said as she moved away to clear a path through the shrapnel and metal bits. She could probably back her car up halfway through here and carry him in.
"I'll be right back sweetheart, don't you dare die on me." She said pushing aside some bramble and branches. She pulled her car keys out of her pocket and went to her car, looking up the street. It was clear, thanking god for that she climbed into her car and backed it up clear into the trees, cursing when her car hit a tree. She climbed out and and then hurried to open her trunk and opened on of her suitcases and dug around to find a blanket which she spread in the back seat leaving the door open. Slamming the trunk loudly, she hoped the boy would hear it.
She hurried back to him. "C'mon boy-oh. Let's get you out of here." She said leaning up and managing to pick him up, albeit awkwardly. He was heavier than she thought, if only her brother was here, he'd be the calm voice of reason, though he probably talk her into taking him to the hospital, than he'd probably alert his CO to the strange alien.
Though he looked just like any other guy she'd seen, except the glowing eyes. Which was not something she'd expect in an alien.
She managed the toss him the back seat, feeling really bad that she couldn't support his weight and just dropped him in. She looked back up at the highway and quickly covered the guy with the blanket so no one would see him. She closed the door and hurried up to the front seat started the car. The music coming back on. "Oh, really? Now?" She said hitting the radio, cutting off the music again. "Oh crap, no no no!" She said as she drove up out of the tree and back up the highway/ She hit the GPS once again and it turned back on telling her to turn right. She looked back in the seat the covered body, feeling like a murderer, she hoped she didn't get pulled over.
"Hold on Sweetheart." She said as she pulled up into the small town driving by the general store she made a mental note to check there for extra supplies, though she was sure the first aid kit she had at the cottage would be full seeing as she was always somehow hurting herself.
She drove past some kid who had binoculars and they were pointing at the area she had just come from, a few cars heading in that direction. Her cottage was right at the edge of the town so no one payed her much attention. She quickly pulled up the hill to the house. Just as she guessed, it wasn't in the best shape. Gritting her teeth she turned off the engine and hurried up the steeps to the house, grabbed the keys they had hidden. There was no way she could get him up the stairs so the garage would have to do. She hurried back down the stairs and opened the garage so she could drive in.
Once inside she pulled the blanket off him so she cold get a look at him. He wasn't that bad, bruises and scraps, probably some bruised ribs, if they were broken then he was screwed. She grabbed some more blaket and spred them on the floor of the garage before dragging him out onto them. Picking up her hefty first aid kid she cleaned the wound. Atleast he was alseep, so hopefully putting the stuff on didn't hurt as much. She finished in no time heaving many of these wounds herself. The worst part was the stomach, but she did her best, hoping he didn't need stitches. Now all she needed to was sit and wait. Sighing she grabbed a box of granola bars from her trunk and sat in the corner and watched him for a few minutes, wondering how he would react to see himself strapped up like a mummy.
((Is that alright?))

[[He's gonna freak out more if he's alone, so... Alone time for Sidera! 8D]] By the time Sidera awoke, he was no longer feeling numb and painless, no longer groggy and with fog in his mind. Instead, he was sharp enough to know he was hurting all over, tired, and just wrecked in general, but he also realized he was alive. Whether that was a good thing or not remained to be seen, but he couldn't keep himself from wondering why he was still alive. The injuries he'd sustained should have killed him. It was then that he saw the bandages wrapped around him in various places, and he smelled disinfectants. He didn't know where he was, or why he was there, but that planet was just getting more and more confusing. He shakily got to his feet, stumbling slightly as he did so, and looked about himself. He was alone, but he wanted to know where that girl was. If he knew where she was, he could keep an eye on her. Leaning on the garage wall, he made his way slowly along, noting the objects around him with horrified wonder, and imagining what terrible uses they might have. Perhaps a garage wasn't the best place to wake up. He reached a wooden board upon which were what he presumed were weapons of some sort; some were metal rods of varying sizes with circular ends, presumably where the energy compacted; others were of different colours, and almost resembled guns. They were like nothing he'd ever seen before, though, and he wasn't hesitent to touch them. Still, it was better to have a weapon he didn't understand than to have nothing at all, so he picked up a particularly dangerous-looking one- in actuality, it was a drill- and held it in his hand. Not being used to it, he held it the wrong way round, but turned it on while it was the wrong way round, using his other hand. The noise that came confirmed it was a weapon, and he became painfully aware of what weapons were intended for as he drilled a small gash into his hand. Some might wonder how that is possible, but he wasn't finding it very funny, because he didn't know how to turn it off. After cutting himself several more times, he dropped it, and leaped backwards from it, looking down at it with a horrified ex pression. If she didn't know he was awake before, she almost certainly knew now.

((Done, most of it is just random nonsense though.))
Ellowyn had gotten bored and it was clear the kid wasn't going to wake anytime soon so she decided to check the damage done to the house. Getting up she walked up the porch steps and saw littered cigarette butts and beer bottles. Seemed to kids came around here to goof off. She chewed her lip and picked up bottles and carried them into the house and dropping them in the garbage. Hopefully they wouldn't come back and cause trouble. All she had to do was go into town and announce she was back the kids sure as hell wouldn't come back, especially if she added that her father was coming too.
She grinned at the thought of that as she grabbed a broom to sweep the dead leaves off the porch just pushing them right off the edge so they landed in a pile bellow. Putting the broom back and scrunched up her freckled nose and glanced at the garage before hurrying over and looking it. He was asleep, and the door was locked and no one would see him if they peeped in. She she might as well get to town.
Town wasn't the best. She'd spoken to a few old friends and went into the general store only to find the person she didn't plan on seeing. "Is that you Winnie?" he asked grinning, using only the nickname she allowed her father to use. "Well I barely regonized you. Stupid I know, you always were the prettiest girl in town."
She tried not to scoff at that as she looked up at the grinning guy. "Marshall." she said trying to sound friendly, hopefully hiding the tone that she wanted to punch him the face. "Last I heard you were playing football in college." she said as she placed her items near the register. Just medical supplies and other food stuff.
He grinned and shook his head. "Was. Mama got sick so I thought Id come to help out." he said ringing up her items. "Oh well that's horrible. Is it bad?" she said genuinely concerned. He might have been a complete asshat but his mother was nice. He shrugged obviously not wanting to get into it.
She nodded and took her two bag. "Bye Marshall." she said quickly turning to leave hoping he wouldn't stop her, but of course he did. "Hey Winnie you know we should catch up on old times. It's been a while and I've missed you." he sounded hopeful. She shook her head. "It's Ellowyn. And I've got to get the house ready for when the Sergeant comes so maybe some other time." she said quickly hurrying out of the store before he could set a date.
When she returned home she peeked her head in the room and saw the boy was still asleep probably would be for the rest of the day. So she busied herself with cleaning up. When night fell everything was clean and ready. She poked her head in the room once more and saw he was still asleep, thankfully breathing and not dead. Closing the door silently she went to her room and pulled out some blue pajama pants from her suitcase and a tank top which allowed some of the tattoo on her shoulder peek out. "Good god Elle. You have an alien in your garage and your just gonna go to sleep. What has the world come too?" she muttered to herself as she scratched at the exposed tattoo on her arm as she climbed into her bed.
She was already awake and in the kitchen when she heard the noises. "What the hell?" she said as she hurried towards the door to the garage. She was still in her pj's she had forgotten about the guy in her garage. It wasn't until she saw his bleeding hand and him staring down at the drill when she realized what happened. Trying not to laugh she quickly hurried over and picked up the drill and turned it off. She looked back at the guy and smiled. "Well it's good to see you awake. Glad you're not dead." she grinned before looking down at his hand. "Here let me see." she motioned to his hand but didn't reach for it incase he decide to hit her or something. "I'm not going to hurt you."

[[Clueless is correct, cute... Dunno. Havta think about that one. |D]] Sidera stepped back as the door open, his eyes moving from the dangerous weapon on the floor for only a fraction of a second. She was smiling, and he didn't know why, but it didn't seem like a maliscious smile, and he wasn't sure why that would be so, either. Her voice was the same as the one he remembered from the previous night, but she still hadn't tried to do anything. Was this where their leader kept invaders? It didn't seem like a very secure place, but there was no way to tell for sure. He wasn't positive what glad meant, but he gathered she was happy he had not ceased to live while he slept, and she seemed happy he was awake, too. When she looked at his hand, he looked down, too. That wasn't good, anyway. Even when she asked to let her see, he pulled it back and held onto it with his other hand. When she said she wouldn't hurt him, though, he wasn't sure whether to trust her or not. Could these barbaric people really be trusted? Golden eyes moved to hers, and he realized with faint surprise he was taller than her. Maybe he was so surprised because she looked so much stronger. His eyes were no longer human looking, either; the faint glow from the previous night was much brighter now, and he seemed to be looking into her as he contemplated whether to trust her or not. Eventually, he relented, and slowly held his hand out to her. He wanted to ask her so many things, where he was, why she didn't want to hurt him, why she had helped him the night before, why she hadn't listened when he'd asked her to leave... He had so many questions, and no way of prioritizing which ones were more important, or needed to be asked first. He decided maybe it was best to just try and ask them all, one by one, but he still needed somewhere to start. ''Why are your eyes so dim?'' He was startled by his question himself; it was irrelevent, unnecessary, but maybe she was sick. If she was sick, he could catch it, get ill. Even then, there were far more important questions that needed answering, and it was probably normal for her kind. Overall, he didn't have a clue why he asked that, but now he had, he might as well get an answer. The voice he asked the question in wasn't as strong as he would have liked; his voice always had been soft, and it had been a point of teasing among his peers.

((No, he is totally cute. How can you not think so XD))
Ellowyn smiled again when he finally held his hand out to her. He seemed to be in deep thought, and he eyes were doing that weird glowing thing again. Part of her wondered if he was radioactive or something, and if she should be wearing a hazmat suit, but she didn't have a third arm or anything so she guessed she was fine.
Takeing his hand in her gently she turned it over and inspected the cuts. He must have held her tools the wrong way, suddenly the garage didn't seem like such a good idea, considering her other collection of powertools, including her chainsaw, heaven forbid if he had turned that on while holding it the wrong way.
She smiled at that thought but that smiled faltered when she heard his question. His voice was the same as the one in her head the previous day, just as soft. She thought about his question. Why were her eyes so dim? Last she'd check they were perfectly normal, but then again maybe the people of his planet all had those weird glow in their eyes. She turned her plain blue eyes up to his glowing ones. "I uh, my eyes are normal. Human's eyes don't glow, if they did something would be seriously wrong."
She wondered if that last bit could be interpreted as her calling him weird. The last thing she wanted was an angry alien with whole knows what type of magical powers. "Hey why don't you come inside the house so I can wash this up?" she said letting go of his hand. "There are no powertools inside so you should be all fine." she mused, the last thing she wanted was him in here hurting himself. PLus she had some questions to ask him too. Like for one, why was he here in the first place?
She headed towards the door she came from which lead into the house. "C'mon Sweetheart." she said as she walked to the door. She didn't bother to wait for him as she entered. She quickly passed through the living room into the open kitchen and turning on the sink. She didn't think he'd like to just stick hjis hand under the pipe so she searched the cuboards for a cloth to wipe the blood off with.

[[Because his favourite colour is Blellow. 8I SINCE WHEN IS THAT EVEN A COLOUR.]] Sidera smiled when she did, even if he didn't know why. Where he came from, people didn't generally smile much. They could, there just weren't reasons to any more. He wasn't sure why he wanted to then either, but her smile was simply contagious. He had expected pain when she took his hand in hers, but thankfully it didn't come, and she was surprisingly gentle. Her answer was what he'd expected, but he wondered what she meant by 'seriously wrong'. Maybe it would be harder trying to fit in on this planet than he thought, especially if her eyes didn't glow. Her skin seemed different, too, so much darker than the skin of anyone he had ever met. Even on the equator of his planet, it was about as warm as the poles of earth, and even colder the further to the poles you went. Such darks kin was more than unusual, it was downright impossible. He had been about to comment on it, to ask if all earth people had dark skin, when she released his hand and suggested he went into her house to wash something up, preumably his hand. He didn't know what powertools were, but didn't like the sound of them. He walked slowly after her, but even his slower paces on longer legs were able to keep up. Now he had another question, such as what on earth a 'Sweetheart' was. ''What is that word you use? 'Sweetheart'? What does it mean?'' He enquired, his voice now holding notes of his natural curiosity. Curiosity was frowned upon where he came from, because it resulted in problems. Problems were rarely large enough to require exilation, though.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually. ... ... Screw it. HYE. ♥

((Lol, that makes him even more amazing XD))
Ellowyn grinned and shook her curly head. Well this was going to be fun, especially if he questioned every word she said. She rinsed the cloth under the running water and squeezed some out before turning to face him again. Trying to answer his question. "It's really a term of endearment I guess. Though I honestly just throw the word around so much I guess it's not that endearing to me." she sighed, hoping that made sense. "Its a word a parent might call their kid, or someone might call their girlfriend or boyfriend. It can be used however."
She walked back towards him and motioned to his hand. "Can I see it again?" she asked before looking back up at his glowing eyes. "Do they have terms of endearments wherever you're from?" she asked genuinely curious. "You know like darling and honey and such." There were definately other, millions of other in different languages that should couldn't think of but she didn't want to confuse him.

[[Pft. xD]] Sidera thought over her words, trying to understand. They had a few words like that where he came from, but they weren't very similar. And he wasn't quite sure what a girlfriend or boyfriend was, either, but he had figured out for himself what a kid was. Did she consider him a child? He was taller than her, after all... But then again, maybe boys were naturally taller than girls here, so it might not be unusual. And children tended to ask more questions where he came from, too. He held out his hand willingly to her when she asked to see it again, but was worrying as to what she planned to do with the piece of damp material she had. ''They have... some, but they are only used with people who you are immensely close to. I recall that my carer used to call her partner 'heartmate', and I believe most parents call their children 'monsway'. It means 'child of my spirit' in the ancient tongue.'' Children's parents died sometimes on his own planet, too, so even if it was a rarer occurence, there were orphans, who were cared for by 'carers'. Usually small groups of children lived with a single carer and his or her partner. Sidera had grown up in such circumstances.

"This might sting a little." Ellowyn said as she pressed the cool cloth to his hand and whipped away the blood. She listened intently 'Heartmate' sounded kind of weird to her, but her calling him sweetheart probably sounded weird to him.
She put the damp cloth down on the counter top and reached over for the roll of gauze she had left out and wrapped it around his hand.
Once she was done she let go of his hand and looked back at the taller man and smiled slightly, being a bit taken back. She was surprisingly tall for a girl, and normally didn't have to stretch to look up at guys, but he must have been around what six five? That was definately taller than most guys she knew. "Well Sweetheart," she smiled. "If you prefered I didn't call you that you could always tell me your name." She contemplated sticking her hand out to shake but he might take that as an attack so she decided against it. "I'm Ellowyn by the way."
((Derp, short post. Been trying to think of ways to make it longer but I fail XP))
