Celeste yawned, hearing the calling howl of the alpha male. Arching her blond back, she stretched her paws out infront of her. "Fine for hunting," she said to herself before padding off toward the direction of the other wolves. She sniffed the air as she sat down, tasting in it dew and gra-ss. It seemed to be dawn, and the waking sounds if prey made her pelt itchy with excitement. Smiling a wolfish girn, she sat a few tail lengths away from the alpha, careful not to annoy him. If it was tue that the alpha was stronger than anyone else... She didn't want to find out. Curling her fluffy tail around her small paws, she stuck her muzzle high into the air, as if daring anyone to challenge her.
Dragon twitched in his sleep as he heard the call of the alpha. Groaning, he turned onto his back, his paws hanging in the air. His tongue lolling out, he looked mire playful and doglike than ever. No... five more minutes... he though to himself. But upon hearing more and more wolves gathering, he decided he didn't want to be the only one left out. So he yawned, got up and stretched, and hen went over to sit beside all the other wolves. He nodded his ma-ssive black head in the direction of his sister, who nodded back.
Avalanche had been one of the few who had already been out of the dens before the alpha called. He swished his tail anxiously back and forth, his stomach rumbling with hunger. What he would do to get a piece of prey right about now... but no. He had to wait for the alpha's orders. He shook out his coarse white fur, blinking his vibrant green eyes a few times, before settling back down on his stomach.
[How's that?]
