((Im an a.ssa.ssin. XD LOL Floof.)) The killer wandered down the streets, dressed in dark civilian clothes. I dont know where people get the idea that I dress up, he thought, his sharp two-toned eyes falling on a 'Have you seen' poster. It could have been him holding the knife in the mans belly...if he wore a cape, top hat, and had a handle bar mustache. "Snidely Whiplash," He mused, scratching his head. A light flicked on behind him and he grinned when he turned around. For there was a man like the one in the poster, doing something out his apartment window. Most likely barfing. Make it look like he drowned in the bathtub, he suggested to himself, then flinched away from the idea. "I'll think of something," he muttered as he started to walk towards the apartment building. He hadnt noticed the foursome a little ways away, discussing what he could not hear in the opening of an allyway. ((Buh-la))

(( What? He's funny? o3o)) Suddenly, Kaitlynn appeared out of the gloom glaring at the killer, though she didn't know it yet. "You there." She snarled, pulling out the revolver she had 'borrowed' from the US navy SEALS. "Stop there. Now. Hold up your hands where I can see them. Your feet two." She snarled, aiming it smoothly at his neck. If she missed his neck, Kaitlynn still could cause fatal damage if he moved up, down, left, or right. "What're you doing on my turf?" She demanded, eyes keen, examining this man for any possible weapons.

((Is he?)) The man looked rather taken aback, but quickly smoothed out. "Just p*censored*ing through, miss." He held his hands up and smirked. "Im afraid if I hold my feet up, I'll fall down. Would you prefer I sat first?" Lanen snarfed and quickly covered it.

Kaitlynn however, was not amused. "Do you have any weapons on you?" She demanded, not fazed one bit by this strange man's retort. "If so, please give me a proper deion of it, and why you have it." She was used to cocky visitors, so Kaitlynn did not quiver a bit. Halien however, had to hold his mouth shut to prevent from laughing his lights out. "Sh-sh-show his feet!? AHAHAH!" He laughed silently, hiding behind a wall. "Would you rather me to sit down miss?" He mimicked and continued laughing silently.

"Ma'am, Im appalled that you would think of such a thing." His eyes widened. "But I do have a weapon." He pulled out a switchblade and flicked it open, holding it at eye level with one finger on the point, the other on the bottom of the hilt. "I never leave home without Shirley... especially with that killer on the loose." He put the knife away and winked his green eye. Lanen looked over. "He's either incredibly brave, or incredibly stupid., aint he?"

Eyeing 'Shirley' with a practiced eye, Kaitlynn nodded, at the man, but did not move. "Your blade has a smooth balance, but it's a little dull don't you think? It won't help much against a killer around these parts. Anyways, if you have business here, I can guarantee your safety,since I know every man, woman, child, and creature in this neighborhood, so if you have any arrangements in this alley, you can drop that blade in that box there. I shall send someone to ensure your safety, if it worries you." Kaitlynn said smoothly, kicking a stainless steel box. "I'm leader of this lane, and I a.ssure you, 'Shirley' will not be stolen." Staring at the man coldly, she waited for his verdict. As an afterthought, she added, "Terribly sorry to take this upon you sir, but with the killer on the loose, my partner and I have stepped up security measures. We cannot afford to let anyone, suspicious or not, to enter without this procedure."

"B-but I have a...date. A very important date. Im late!" The man stuttered, holding his knife against him. "I must be on my way. I've already wasted far to much time here," He looked Kaitlynn up and down. "Not that I mind, really...." Lanen choked and coughed, asking Lysander "Did he just quote Alice and Wonderland?"

"Mmhmm," Lanen nodded and turned around, looking back up the way they had come. Other than this odd man, there was no one else on the street now and the place looked deserted. She spied a piece of paper fluttering by and walked over to pick it up. The same headline she had seen earlier screamed out at her and she snorted in disgust and threw it away.

Why don't you try the street down the corner?" she asked, poised to silence this quirky man who quoted Children's movies for eternity. "And by the way, was that from Alice and Wonderland?" She asked, laughing silently.

"If you're really that desperate for a date, I'm pretty sure I can introduce you to another girl 3 alleys down." she offered, keeping up her col, but friendly facade. Shrugging, Kaitlynn replied back, face stoic, tone of voice, also impa.ssive. "Too bad for you, maybe they got impatient, or they got the time wrong? Who knows, maybe one of the oldies here is actually the murderer and murdered her?" Sweeping the man a mock curtsy, Kaitlynn continued on in that dead ton of voice of hers, "So maybe you'd like to come back some other day, instead of loitering at the front steps of my home?"
