"Maybe you can..... but you'll be powerless when she changes." Taku said with a smirk, though Zane had already left.
Mia smiled, "See. Show the kingdom ghe side of you I know. They'll like it a lot more than the cold hearted side you show them." Mia said turning to him and putting one hand on Zane's cheek.
Jake growled and walked to his throne. His lair carved into a mountain side. He sat on the thrown sideways and leaned his head back. "You got to be kidding me.. There is no way I can stop a demon child from Taku.. His babies are always bound to be bad.." He sighed.
Zane smiled and took Mai's hand. "Fine. Just for you and the baby. I can change and i will change.. I just wish for the kingdom to have the same respect for me as they do when I rule with my iron fist.." He smiled.
Zane smiled and hugged his wife and daughter. "You two really are all I need." He held Mia's hand and walked into the kitchen. "so, we should make sure windows are sealed as well as doors shut?"
He nodded and quickly walked around the bottom floor. He closed and locked the windows. He looked outside and smiled. He closed the doors and didn't lock them, just in case anybody came back. "OKay love, all the doors and windows are sealed on teh bottom."
Zane smiled and followed Mia. He looked around. "The castle is rather.. Empty without anybody in here.. I wonder how long it's taking to find a simple kid.." He looked in the kitchen and noticed the cooks had begun to cook some lunch. "Lunch... Time for that already?"
