Kyin's questioh caught Necilia completely off guard, but the took the time to quickly look him over. She had to admit he looked pretty attractive. "WEll.. uh.. I wouldn't think you were any older then twenty?" She said, a bit nervous and hoping she said the right thing. But she wouldn't get the chance to find out.

The door opened and the King answered it. "No, your Highness." She said, bowing deeply, "Just escorting High God Kyin." She said.

Kidd gave a silent sigh as he moved out of the door way, giving a small bow to Kyin as he p*censored*ed. It was hard to swallow his pride, but duties were duties. He lingered, there, deciding not to say anything. Finally, he rolled his eyes and stood in the door again. His tone was slightly calmer than before, "Necilia, if you'd like to step in for a moment, too..."

Kiddonu didn't quicte want to finnish. Instead, he walked back into the room, following the High God anf his love. He left the door open, in invatation for one of his best guards to come and see the newborn as well. After all, Kidd, though he didn't want to admit it to himself right now, would have plenty of time to see Maara. If his people had no faith in their kingdom, it would shurly crumble.

Necilia stood up and entered the room slowly, closing the dorr silently behind her so no one else could come in without some sort of arning. She turned, decided to stay by the door and not push her welcome too far.

A smile spread over her face when she saw the newborn. "She's beautiful." She commented quietly.

((Sorry, was gone all weekend and couln't find this for a while. (I'm blind, lol))) 

Kidd fidgetted, still leaning on a wall across from the baby crib. He eyed Nacilia and Kyin cautiously, like a dog might when a stranger approached his human pack. In fact, Kiddonu almost growled. He didn't at all appresiate Kyin's choice of words. 'I wish not to see a lolely baby to grow up in a wrong way.' What just was that supposed to meen? Kidd didn't take his eyes off the group, but softened a little. Was he really so proud he wouldn't make a good parent and raise their Maara in a "wrong way?" It was insulting just to think about it. And yes, according to Mia, she had been a fragile birth. This was unsettling in its own right, and now the High God was telling them to be careful. Did he have a power issue, or did Kiddonu.

Too proud to admit he was wrong even to himself, Kidd continued to fidget. As far as he was conserned this new "God" was useless. He hadn't felt blessed at all in the war after he had prayed every night up until the morning of what he knew would be the last battle. He was lucky to survive, but didn't consider it a blessing that he'd lived to see his only child. No, it was just that: luck.

Feeling eyes on him, Kiddonu snapped from his thoughts, and meet Mia's smile. She was so beautiful in every right, and, thought Kidd wouldn't admit it, Kyin was right: Maara did look alot like her. He smiled back, happy to see both of them so bright in his mind that they gave off their own light. But there was something hidden behind the smile, as if it was truely sad or frightened. Kiddonu had seen this many times in his warriors, but never in a woman, let alone a woman so fair and pure. What's she hidding from me?

Kidd didn't want to think about it and put on a fake smile. No, the High God, usefull or not, was blessing his daughter. This wouldn't happen everyday, escpecially if they where a common family with no specified line in destiny, Fate's cruel, twisted web. Somehow, the young king had a feeling a spider was pulling him twards the center of this web, where many strands of fate would meet and clash. But... why him, and why now?

Mia smiled and looked back to Kyin. She continued to smiled, got started getting the feeling of uneasyness, as though something connected to the child and and her secret was starting to unravle(can`t spell).
Out of nowhere a large redish bird landed on the balcony rail. It stared continuously at the baby in Mia`s arms.
Mia turned her head and looked at the bird. her stomach twisted as she realised who, and what it was. She looked quickly back to Kyin, and smiled, just hoping the bird would lose intrest and fly away as quickly as it had apperared.

Kyin flinched as teh bird landed adn his eyes narrowed into a protective manner, like a mother bear trying to protect her young. His hand twitched slightly and his eyes darkened to a deep red color. He was in defensive mode now. He usually didn't show anybody his defensive mode. His aura darkening and his face hardening. His body stiffened and his mind focused solely on who the bird was. He clenched his teeth and glared at the bird, then teh King.

He knew Kidd was too proud to admit Kyin was right. Kyin knew what he did not. He looked at the bird once more. He knew Kidd had been watching him and felt offended by his remarks. However, Kidd was useless in this situation. Kyin turned his body and faced teh balcony. His face looking more deadly, as it did when he helped Kidd's army defeat the enemy the second day of battle. He stepped toward the balcony and stopped when he was next to the King. His pride.. He must rid of it if he wishes to help his wife and baby... He looked at Kidd through he corner of his eyes.

Necilia, with her hieghtened sinces of warrior life, was picking up tension in the room and placed her hand on her sword absentmindedly. Not only was there a dreadful uneasiness feeling the room, but she was starting to feel angry too, as if her energy was feeding off of another. She *censored*umed it was the high god, seeing him change physically.

She grapped her sword incase something happened, and took a single step forward as the High God did. She trusted her body completely to move when needed. At times it reacted on its own without her consent, and every time it had saved her life. If something broke out, she would protect the Queen and Princess.

She didn't understand what was amiss with the red bird, it looked like a regular Robin come to pay a visit to the balcony.
