The bird began to grow when Kyin stepped closer, then now overly sized red eagle strtched it`s wings and screeched angerly at them before taking off and circling the castle.
Mia held Maara tightly, then walked over and stood close to Kidd`s side. she acted as though she had no idea what was going on, and as if she thought Kidd could protected her from the evil soul now circling her home.

Kiddonu put a hand on the hilt of his sowrd and tensed, breathing slowly. He hadn't aknowladged the bird until both his love and the High God seemed unsettled. He immediately set his head, separating his mind from the questions that had been swimming and preparing instead for battle- to protect now the two most important and presious things that had ever seen the world: His queen and his daughter, more than any mortal man could ask for. He had only just begun to unsheath his sword from its cover when the bird began to circle and Kyin had begun to chalange it. If the High God was this put off, it was likely that of a situation Kidd couldn't handle dispite his greatest hope or faith. This didn't fase the warrior king at all, however, until he saw Kyin put his hand on the gl*censored* door and shut the others in. He heard the God's voice, faint through the thick gl*censored* across the width of the room, but couldn't make out any of the words or what on sweet Earth he was talking to. He watched unsure of what was happening or what to do.

In a combonation of both fear and hurt, he looked at Mia. She had done something while he was away, and he wasn't sure he wanted to come to terms with it at all. Never the less, the situation had to be confronted. His voice was low, almost in a cold whisper. It wavered in pain twards the begining before leveling off. "What's going on, Mai?"

Necilia thew that what they were saying to each other was privated, so she ,moved around the to the door. Waiting for Kyin to come back and doing the 'seeing and hearing thing but not watching or listening' that she had been trained to do when protecting Royal life. She still had a firm hold on the hilt of her sword, iit was half way out of its sheath and ready to do damage if need be.

She turned away from the King and Queen for a moment to see kyin shouting at the bird, then disappearing to the roof top. if that wasn't unsettling she couldn't think of anything else that was.

"Your majesties, may I excuse myself?" Necilia asked, bowing slightly after she asked. After the bird was gone and Kyin had somewhat calmed down and come back in, she felt that her services were no longer needed, but she didn't do anything without their consent.

What would she do if she were allowed to leave? Go back to the front gate? No, she decided to go to that pond on the hillside behind the castle. It would be beautiful this time of year, and it was one of the places she could truely be herself. It was her day off by the way.

She came back to reality, still bowing. But she had released he hilf of her sword and most of the tension was gone now. "Or are my services still needed?" She asked.

Kyin hit the wall and slid down. His face touching the floor and his body laid out flat. "Whoops..." He raised his hand up and teh small chip in teh wall fixed up. He stood up and wiped his face. "You.. Guard.... Necilia.... I believe, please come with me if you will. I must tell you something, plus, I think my nose is bleeding..." He grabbed Necilia by teh wrist and walked toward the bathroom, or where he thought the bathroom was. "Please help me calm down. Do you know a place or tranquility or a peaceful place where I may rest?"

(ew.. fail...)

Necilia was at lose to for words as they left the room, she looked over her shoulder at the king and Queen but by then she wasalready too far out of the room to see them now. Her thoughts then went to her wrist, which Kyin had a death grip on.

She forced him to stop, and got her hand free from his. She turned him around to see that his nose was in fact bleeding. "Come with me." She said, pulling his by the wrist now. She lead him in the opposite direction he was taking her to the bathroom for maids and butlers.

There was no one inside, so she let go of his hand and walked briskly over to the sink, grabbing some paper towels and running water over them. "Here." She said, when she approached him, she had to stand on her tip toe and gently pulled his head closer. She whiped the blood clean from his face. "I know a place.... where you can relax." She said, looking into his eyes as she finished up. "There..." She said, throwing the papare towel away.

Kiddonu waved Necilia out of the room without looking at her, watching Kyin instead. In mere moments he had gone from benevolent and acsepting to harsh and cold. He was not in a plesant mood now. Bad omens? Signs? Kidd had never been superstitious, and he wasn't going to start just because the High God didn't like birds. Maybe if he hadn't just ogtten home from war, he would have thought properly and have been more calm, but for the moment he was angered and rash. Though his hand on his sowrd had relaxed, he had crossed his arms over his chest.

"How does one raise a child with no windows?" He hissed after the God and gaurd had left the room. As if Maara wasn't frail enough, now she would get no proper sunlight? Kidd's faith in this new High God was becoming less and less as the hour continued to p*censored*. He turned back to Mia, a wan and forced smile on his face. He looked down at the daughter and his ex
pression softened. So, she wasn't as frigile as he may have origonaly as.sumed.  She giggled, a small and pleasant laugh. That was something, even if Kiddonu himself was never great with children before. Once again, he promised himself that he would be a better father than his ever was, even if there wasn't a prince or son. Just for Maara's safety and to be what he wish he had, Kidd would renounce himself as king and live a commoner's life, or even the life of a warrior as that was his strongest point- battle. Then again, he didn't want his genral to come to Mia's door and hand her lillys and say 'I'm sorry, but...' No, he couldn't do that. Not now, not when the best thing in his life had only just begun.

It would be the best thing in his life... wouldn't it?

Kyin looked at her. "thank you so much. I am sorry for causing such tension in that room.. But the bird.. It is not a normal bird. No. It's not even a bird. It's an evil spirit for whom is searching the child.. He is my mortal enemy that I have tried to keep away from this castle for at least 20 years. My father, also tried. But was killed in the process somehow." He sighed and looked at her. "please take me there.. I wish to not cause any more trouble. The king doens't really have faith in me anyways. I might as well juts disappear until he is able to cope with this. I know he finds my advice weird, but.. it's for teh child's own safety.."
