"Of course." Ridge said, digging into his pockets for the money he had saved up for Arabella's birthday. He took out the large handful of notes and coins and placed it in Bruce's hand. "That enough?" he asked, smiling.

"Thanks Ridge, this'ill uh, really help me" he grinned again before pointing and waving at the little ginger girl running towards them
'ah Melody! Hello!'
Melody slowed upon seeing the other two, and hesitated before mumbling a shy 'Hello' back to Bruce.
"No need to be afraid of these ones Mel, they're just some newbie customers of mine" He smiled at her kindly and then looked back at Arabella and Ridge

Melody hid behind Bruce, touching him willingly, forgetting that others sometimes get shocked at her carelessness when it came to touch.
Bruce patted her head, accustomed to unexpected touches from her and gave Ridge and Arabella a its-okay-i-dont-mind kind of look towards them

Melody scampered inside and Bruce smiled at Ridge and Arabella

Bruce smiled. Melody was looking at Bruce's newest addition to his collection of paintings on the far wall. It was two hands, fingers interlacing.
'I like this' She pointed.
Bruce patted her on the head
'mmm'
Karl woke up a little before his Father, Brent. He noticed Melody was missing, probably gone to see Bruce last night. He sighed. Father wouldn't be happy.
Karl chugged down his breakfast tube, got dressed and headed out for Education™ down in the youth hall.

"Where were you?" Daphne asked when Arabella and Ridge tried to sneak back into the house unnoticed. "We, erm, went out for a walk." Ridge stuttered. "Right..." Daphne replied. She knew he was lying but she also knew that the government had installed bugs in their house. It would be best if she let her suspicions go unheard. |
