(Actualy that's a good idea... I'm stealing it! XD) Nanami nodded "let's" she agreed giving him a small smile turning to the exit. She was anxious to get out, and as far away from Luke and these horrible caves as she could. With nervousness churning in her tummy she steped through the exit and was greeted with hedges on either side going down in a straight line for several yards before turning to the right. "I really hope this isn't what I think it is."

Jace followed after her, frowning as he studied the large plants on either side of them. "I never did like plants," he said sourly, "Or mazes, for that matter. I'm literally in a living hell." ____ Luke didn't follow after them, as he promised.

Nanami sighed "I'm sorry" she said to Jace. "And just when I thought we were out" she held a defeated look on her face as she gazed at the hedges with distain. "Well... should we go on?" she asked quietly, heart in the pit of her stomach. Just when my hopes were up she thought. Just when I thought I'd be going home... Never get your hopes up "lesson learned" she muttered to herself.

Jace looked at the plants thoughtfully. "Maybe I can burn them," he mumbled. "Wait, no, then there'd be too much smoke, and we'd die. Damn..." He felt deflated. Fighting, bleeding, almost dying.... All for nothing. Just so he could walk right into another trap. The feeling is mutual, Luke thought dimly as the last flickers of Nanami and Jace's emotions wafted through the air.

Nanami was slouching rather than standing straight like usual, her eyes down looking at her feet. "Maybe we should rest a bit... you should rest a bit" she offered quietly. She was tired, emotionaly drained and closer to tears than she would ever admit and all she really wanted was to sit for a while and calm herself down maybe see if she'd get another vision, maybe it would lead them out.

"Okay," Jace mumbled, stiffling a yawn. He was tired, his head felt detached from his body, he couldn't feel his legs and almost every part of him was stained with blood. He ached and hurt, but he didn't dare admit that to Nanami. I wonder if I have a concussion....

Nanami nodded and sat down, back against a rather sturdy hedge. She looked at Jace, noticing how he was almost compleatly covered in blood. That worried her. "Sit" she said, patting the ground next to her. "You shouldn't be standing... maybe you should sleep" she said. "Does it hurt?" she asked, she was sure it did unless he'd just gone numb. She hopped that he would be okay, she wasn't quite sure how sturdy vampries were or how much it took to kill one but she was sure that he was in some type of pain and that bothered her.

Jace sat down next to her, trying to force a smile. "I'm fine," he mumbled. "It'll all heal soon... Because I'm a vampire and the only thing that'll kill me it wood. I think. Not sure, never really tested it out..." He stiffled another yawn. "I'm not tired, honestly."

"Don't lie" she said to him a soft smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "You're tired so sleep" she told him. She pushed hair out of her eyes again and looked at him "If not for yourself do it to make me feel better... I'm not used to seeing anyone hurt so badly and I'll just worry if you stay up" she laughes softly "sorry... it's just..." she trailed off and looked down at her lute in her lap seeming to space out.

"I'm not tired..." Jace mumbled. "I'm just not..." He leaned his head on her shoulder gently, closing his eyes. He lapsed into sleep, relaxing. He started to talk in his sleep softly, but it wasn't understandable. No flames were currently lit, so none of his dreams were being reflected.

Nanami smiled listening to the soft incoherant words from Jace. Sure that he was asleep she let herself go, tears she had been holding back for a long while finaly tumbling down her cheeks. She didn't make any noise that she was aware of, and she didn't move besides the moment when she flipped her lute to look at the crack in the base. She ran a finger over the crack I'm sorry daddy... he's here and you're not so he was more important she thought. Her thoughts moved back to the moment she drifted I just... worry about people I care for. Her mind wandered from there, mostly a jumbled mess as she let her overwhelming emotions overflow into the tears.

Jace's hand grabbed Nanami's in his sleep, and he mumbled something softly that could have been "ILoveYou" or "IMissyou". It was hard to tell.

Nanami smiled, looking down at her hand and his. His mumbled words caused her breath to catch as she thought of him saying I love you and directing it towards her. She wasn't sure if that was what he had said but she figured a girl could dream. She looked at him fondly and sighed using her free hand to wipe away her tears.

The slash across his forehead was already healing; as were the other wounds on him. Just like he'd predicted. Jace shifted slightly, so his hair fell over the scar on his face.

Her eyelids began to feel hevy but she kept herself awake humming softly, trying not to wake him. She looked up, the sky was visible above them and she thought of her father. I wonder if he can see me... I wonder if he'd come to get me if he saw me while traveling the sky... She stiffled a yawn and continued to hum softly.

Speak up Nanami thought with a soft smile squeezing his hand lightly. "I wonder what you're dreaming of" she whispered, not compleatly aware that she was talking outloud. She yawned and blinked several times, trying to fight off the sleepy feeling aproaching. She turned her head slightly to look at Jace and smiled, happy to see him sleeping so soundly.
