Deomi rose to her paws and started to walk toward where Josh's voice was, growling softly. Her fur stood ridgid when she say the minotaur. She bared her teeth and snarled viciously.

Josh grumbled to himself as he backed away slowly. "Just my luck....stupid greek animals..." he huffed, shoving his bow back around his shoulders. He then unsheathed his sword, a smile tugging at the edge of his lips as the monster studied it. It was a long, black sword with blood red words carved into it in spanish, which was his mother's native tongue. It read, when translated, "Those who see the sword shall perish by it's edge." It was his favourite weapon. One edge was silver, the other one bronze. He glanced at Deomi with a reckless grin. "Ready to slay some monsters?" he asked teasingly. The minotaur growled, and then charged at them.

Deomi rolled her eyes, "I dont 'slay' monsters." she said, stepping back, "I'm a lover, not a fighter, you can have fun with that though." she teased.

Josh glanced at her, raising his eyebrows. "Shame," he chuckled. "It's fun," He stepped to the side, narrowly missing being speared on one of the thing's horns. He slashed outwards with his sword, the bronze edge slicing through the beast's arm. It let out an angry growl, blood splashing Josh in the face. "ew.."

"It didn't hurt that much" Nanami told him. "It just felt a little... weird" she gave a little nod. "Though... I do have a bit of a high pain tolerance, I might have just blocked it out but it's fine" she said. "I'm fine, don't worry" she gave a small smile, hopping she hadn't done something wrong. "Sorry" she added, just incase she had upset him. ( Sorry I keep missing stuff ^^; )

Deomi rolled her eyes, "no 'Ew' it was your plan!" she lay down on her side, wolf-paws stetched out in from of her and had a dog-like grin on her muzzle.

Jace twitched uncomfortably. "Don't be sorry." he mumbled. ____ Josh wiped the blood off of his face, grimacing as some got in his mouth. It tasted bitter and chalky. He was about to say something to Deomi, but was cut off as he rolled to the side, avoiding being impaled. But Josh wasn't fast enough; the minotaur's right horn slashed across Josh's chest, leaving a deep, bloody wound there. He staggered backwards, snarling a curse angrily.

Deomi snarled and stood, "now that's where I draw the line." She barker furiously and stood facing the Minotuar, grabbing its attention. Deomi bared her teeth and growled as the beast charged, she sidestepped neatly and grabbed its leg as it ran past, toppling it to the ground. She yepled in pain as its hoof connected with her muzzle, but quickly recovered. She jumped back and growled, fixing it with an icy stare. Her white fur was blood spattered and her ears were pinned back.

Josh glanced down at his chest, feeling a metalic taste form in his mouth. "...That's going to leave a mark," he mumbled dizzily, standing up and adjusting his hold on his sword. He slashed at it swiftly, then side-stepped and slashed again. The blade sliced open the beast's side. But his triumph was short-lived as the minotaur kicked Josh, and sent him flying. It was angry, and in pain now.

Deomi barked angrily again, pressing one of her large paws on the beast's throat, pressing down and suffocating it slowly. it kicked at her and some of the blows hit her, and sent flashed of pain through her body. She pressed down harder, causing the minotaur's kicks to be less and less painful.

Josh slammed into the ground with a sharp crack, his right leg twisting in an awkward, painful angle. He shifted without thinking, blood leaking from his chest, and now-broken leg slowly. He let out a confused, cough-like bark and tried to stand up.

The Minotaur's fighting ceased and Deomi lifted her paw, some of the wounds from its sharp hooves were bleeding, but she ignore them, she limped over to Josh, a whine low in her throat, "Josh?" She shifted human and a few tears streamed down her face in fear and pain.

Josh blinked up at her; his vision was hazy, and he felt confused and disorientated. He struggled to three paws, the other one hanging limp, bloody, mangled and useless. He whimpered low in his throat, spitting out some blood in his mouth.

Deomi stroked his fur, "Come on, lets go find Jace." she said, shifting into a wolf so Josh could lean up against her in order to walk better, "maybe Nanami will know what to do."

Josh set it down for a moment to re-adjust his grip on it. He snarled at her venemously, bearing his teeth, "It was a gift from a friend. A close, close friend." He nearly added, a girlfriend, but he knew that wouldn't help the situation. He picked the sword back up and continued to limp, but this time he didn't even do so much as brush against Deomi.

"Well then we can come back for it as soon as you can walk! I don't think there is anything here that will take it from you." She snarled. She huffed in frustrarion but gave up the argument, picking up her pace and rafusing to even look at Josh. He is such a d!ck! she thought bitterly. what do I even see in him at all?
