Josh kept cool, raising the arrow so it was alined with her head. But he couldn't help but feel a tingly, magical sensation that hovered in the air. And something inside him was reacting to that sensation too.

Deomi dared him to shoot the arrow, she was fast enough to get to him first. She sat on her haunches and let loose a wild howl. She closed her eyes and imagined a full moon, and the peaceful feeling it brought. If he wanted to shoot her with the arrow, so be it. She would probably survive it.

Nanami stood up moving back away, instinct told her to move, just a bit. The buzz in her head continued and a quick vision p*censored*ed through her mind, Josh turning into something inhuman, like the woman only slightly different. It disapeared in seconds and left a dull ache in her skull. "For once could I have a helpful vision?" she asked herself quietly moving back up against a stone wall.

Josh waited, patiently. He wouldn't shoot first; the wolf-woman would have to attack him before he struck. Suddenly, his mind fluttered to the silver dagger hidden in a sheath that was wrapped around the calf of his leg. His grandmother always said that silver was the only kind of metal he should use as a weapon... All of his weapons were silver. The arrowhead were, the dagger was and the long sword strapped to his back was. He wondered faintly why his grandmother was only too willing to give him weapons, so long as they were silver...

Deomi stopped howling, but stayed a wolf. She didn't rise to her feet, but looked at Josh expectantly and barked softly. She whined once and at the sky, then back at Josh. A howl-like bark sound escaped her mouth and she whined again. Then she stared up to the sky.

Josh cleared his throat, standing up straight from his hunter's crouch. He kept his bow ready, adn kept repeating things in his head that might be helpful if this turned into a fight. "Well?" he snapped, another snarl escaping him. "What am I waiting for?" His eyes blazed. ___ Jace slid along the edge of the wall, flame dancing in front of him, until he stood beside Nanami. "Hi," he breathed, "I'm Jace. You are?" His eyes focused on Josh and Deomi.

Deomi growled impatiently. Dimwit! I Obviously can't talk to you when I'm like this!!!! She turned and glared at him. Suddenly, an idea struck her. She leapt up and faced Josh, dashing past him and grabbing his bow gently with her teeth, but strong enough to pry it from his grip. She stopped about three yards away and faced him, standing in a play bow((like a dog does)) with the bow in her mouth. Her tail wagged slowly and she taunted him with her eyes.

Josh groaned. "Damnit.." He took a step towards her, eyes narrowed as he tried to predict her next move.

Nanami jumped a bit and turned her to look at Jace "hi, I'm Nanami" she said with a slight smile her head still aching. "Nice to meet you Jace" she said. "Do you have any idea where we are?" she asked pushing her bangs away from her eyes to watch Josh and the wolf woman.

Aurora sighed,"I wonder what Hunter and Johnny are doing. I am starting to get hungry now too." She said in s soft voice. Kitty shot off following Jace,"Come on, slow poke!" kitty laughed. Aurora rolled her eyes her wings fluffing up. She walked towards Kitty as slow as posible. Then after a little while she started to walk faster when she heard noises. She looked at Johnny,"Well. What do we have here?" She asked looking aorund at the odd group her eyes peicing into Josh tryign to figure out what he was. Kitty looked at them her lips cerving into a smile,"I am glad we aren;t the only ones here." She said loud enough for only Aurora to hear. Hunter nodded,"Okay." He said starting to walk towards the noises. |

"We're in a cave?" Jace guessed dryly, smirking as he watched the two with no interest. ((What about Charlotte and Hunter?! ;O))Idea :D
Charlotte started to skip down the tunnels, eyes sparkling with excitement. "I hope it's a fox," she said cheerfully, "I love foxes."

Deomi phased human, "I have to make this slightly fair!" she taunted, backpedaling and waving his bow in the air, giggling uncontrolably. She spun in midstep and actually ran, waving the bow triumphantly above her head.

((I posted for Hunter.XD)) Aurora yawned looking around,"Hey, Johnny, since you are here did you find anythign to eat?" She asked her voice emotionless again. "Yes. There was this weird orange stuff on the side of the cave and it was okay."Johnny said grinning. "Do you even know what it is?" kitty asked having a disgusted look on her face,"I want some real food!" She snapped her fangs piercing into her lips. She smelled blood and her stomach growled a little. "Kitty, control yourself."Aurora hissed under her breathe. |

Josh pelted after her, chuckling to himself even though he felt like ripping the bow out of her hands and beating her to death with it. Suddenly, with no warning, midstride he exploded. Fur replaced skin, long canines full of venom showed in his mouth, and mas$ive wings growing out of his back. He skidded to a halt, tripped over himself and flopped onto the ground with a terrified wail. He glanced down at himself, horror and self-hatred sweeping over him like a giant black wave.

Jace grinned. "Perhaps because we're all mentally unstable in some sort of way? Our parents were freaks who didn't care about us?" He shrugged. "Eather way, we're stuck here." ___ Charlotte started to hum a tune her father taught her to herself. "Wolves are grand. Creatures of the night, moon and shadow. Creeping through your every dream. Ghastly with red eyes so hollow, your nightmares are bursting at the seams." She continued to hum to herself while she slowed her skipping to a walk alongside Hunter.

"HAH!" Deomi yelled triumphantly, "I knew it!" she stopped running and faced Josh, "I knew you werent human!" She smiled smugly and sat indian style on the ground, watching him intently.
