Open Roleplay consisting of Vinnii, TranceGirl, kakelover, Paarthurnax, Trulyderp, and myself.
You know the plot already. Here's a quick recap for the lurkers, though.
In the future, overpopulation poses a serious issue for people all around the world. In order to combat this problem, a man creates the technology to sever a human consciousness from its body, its vessel, and place it in another. Though it has never been tested, the man has no doubt it will work and that two, maybe even three different people would be able to inhabit one host body.
The following is pure speculation on the man's part, but he wholeheartedly believes it is all true: The bodies left behind by their consciousnesses would instantly die, and would never be able to be revived. Only one consciousness can operate a body at a time- any others lie dormant, able to observe and even comment on the actions of the dominant, but unable to control. Whoever has the strongest mental hold on the body (usually whoever's body it was originally) generally takes control. However, they can at any time be overpowered by other inhabitants or simply relinquish control if they so choose. For the first few days after joining another consciousness inside a body, both parties will be disoriented. Although they have different personalities, they must rely on a single brain which can only work so hard. As a result, they will also be more fatigued than usual when sharing a body, but will not technically require any more food or water than an average person.

Name: Nikita "Nikki" Samson
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Appearance: Nikita has pixie-cut black hair and alabaster skin. Her facial features are very sharp, from her pointed nose to her high, pronounced cheekbones and angular chin. She stands at 5'7 and is fairly thin, but no so much as to be stick-like. Her eyes are an intense green, framed by long lashes. She tends to wear "boy" clothes, you'll never catch her in a skirt or dress, and probably never in anything fancy if she can help it. She has never cared much for looking good to others: so long as she is comfortable, she's happy. She loves frayed blue jeans and loose t-shirts depicting anything cheerful or music related (or anything that she would consider 'cool'). Bright colours are sort of a must for her in clothing. She has a pair of white converse that she wears everywhere and she can almost always be found with earbuds in one or both of her ears. Personality: Nikita is the bright, cheery, bubbly sort that can get annoying pretty quickly but is actually nice to have around most of the time. She is sarcastic and can be a little over emotional and quick-tempered, but she gets over things quickly and never holds a grudge for long. Generally a nice person, Nikita is also extremely competitive. She hates to lose, and will do almost anything to avoid doing so.
Very much a tomboy, Nikita has grown up with her two (older) brothers teasing her if she so much as mentioned anything they thought was too girly. So in an effort to be accepted by her brothers and make life at home a little easier for her, Nikita started to act, as much as she could, like she thought a boy would. She grew accustomed to it and quickly realized that she actually liked hanging out with boys, talking about videogames and what-have-you. Her entire life, she had very few female friends and is actually a bit awkward around other girls sometimes, simply because she doesn't know how she's expected to act around them.
Nikita has never been terribly academically inclined. However that is not to say that she is stupid, and she will surely quickly correct anyone who dares to suggest it. She has had a love of running and other sports since she was young, however, and they have interfered with her study habits. At least, that's the excuse she uses whenever someone asks after her report card. She's always sure to tell them about her straight A's in gym, though.
Other: Her consciousness will live in Serena's body.
Name: Serena Zirven
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Serena is tall and slender, with white-blonde hair that falls in a cascade of slight waves down to the small of her back. Her eyes are a deep blue, and freckles dot the bridge of her nose and her cheeks. Something about Serena's appearance is somehow intimidating, despite the smile that is almost constantly present on her face. Come to think of it, it may very well be the nature of this smile that makes Serena look distinctly like one who is not to be messed with. It is closer in appearance to a smirk than an actual smile, a look which is only intensified by her piercing eyes. She holds herself almost regally; head held high and back straight no matter how tired she may be. Serena can be extremely vain: she always makes sure that her hair is perfect and that there isn't any dirt under her nails, that sort of thing.
Serena tends to wear nice blouses with skinny jeans and boots.
Personality: Most people just meeting Serena would say that she is polite and quiet. Those who have known her a long time know differently. This is probably because of how eager to please (and to look good!) she tends to be around strangers. However, once she is comfortable around someone, her true colours start to show through. Serena is an extremely proud, fiercely independent person. She generally views who are younger than her as inferior, and as such is not fond of children. Her default mood is calm and quiet, although anyone that actually manages to rouse her from this state can expect big trouble.
Other: She will share a body with Nikita, and likely be dominant most of the time.
Name: Krael Williams
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: The first things most people notice about Krael are usually his eyes, which are a steely shade of grey around his pupils. The irises are rimmed with an intense, silvery blue and are flecked with varying shades of grey throughout. He is tall and lanky, with severe features and high cheekbones. His hair is jet black and perpetually a shaggy mess that he makes no attempt to tame, while his skin is very pale.
Personality: Krael has a tendency to hate others seemingly without reason and is often very cold. He is unstable at best, angering very easily and being extremely aggressive. His rude, sarcastic behaviour often leads to fights, which he revels in despite how rarely he manages to win. Krael is actually quite intelligent, though he is also extremely impulsive and rarely takes the time to think things through.
Despite his obviously very rough exterior, Krael does possess a soft side. The only problem is, it takes a lot to get him to show it.
Other: He will inhabit Lore's body.
Name: Lore ???
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Appearance: Lore is very small, standing at 5'6 and with a slight build to match. He has delicate, almost feminine looking facial features and slightly tanned skin dotted with freckles. His large, olive green eyes are framed by long lashes. His left eye has a curious sliver of gold extending from the pupil outwards, but it is very small and difficult to notice unless you actually search for it. Lore's mousy brown hair is unkempt but always clean (he can't stand feeling unclean).
Personality: Lore is a private person, to put it mildly. He is quiet and docile, preferring not to speak whenever he can avoid it. When he does communicate with others, however, Lore tends to speak very properly (by that I mean that he is very polite while also being careful to only use correct grammar and usually avoid contractions altogether. He sometimes even uses the occasional 'Sir' or 'Ma'am' to address authority figures.) Lore is also incredibly bright. He loves puzzles and riddles, and will work on one for hours at a time without tiring or giving up. As well, Lore loves watches. His father was a watchmaker (one of the few details that he will disclose even to a complete stranger). His small hands are perfect for tinkering with watches and fixing them up.
Lore has always been the follower type (as opposed to a leader, that is). He is perfectly content to be ordered around by whoever, even if their judgment is horrible. He doesn't usually offer up opinions of knowledge unless directly asked, causing many to think him lazy or even stupid. On the contrary, Lore is actually just scared. He is terrified of letting others down, and so is always meticulous in his efforts to never set himself up. He figures that if he doesn't put himself in position where he is in charge of others, or where he is offering advice, then he can never be blamed for what may go wrong. This is unfortunate, seeing as Lore is incredibly good at solving problems that require you to think. Being as private as he is, however, Lore never saw fit to tell anyone about this either, so most assume that he really is just lazy and stupid.
Other: He will be sharing a body with Krael.
As for his name, nobody actually knows. He goes by the alias of Lore ostensibly due to his love of folklore and stories. He is absolutely fascinated by mythology, and often shares his extensive knowledge of it with anyone who will listen. "Lore" will not tell anyone what his last name is, nor will he give a pseudonym.
Name: Damien Bishop
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Damien stands at about six feet, give or take. He has unkempt, sandy blond hair that refuses to be tamed, not that he ever tries very hard. His eyes are brown- a dark chocolatey colour at the edges but closer to amber towards the centre. Damien has a square jaw and a constant goofy smile. He's got broad shoulders and is fairly muscular- not ridiculously so- but enough that you might think twice before picking a fight with him. A long, thin scar runs from his left shoulder and downwards towards the centre of his back, ending a few inches below his shoulder blades. He never talks about it, and will quickly change the subject should it be brought up.
Personality: Damien is socially awkward and fairly dim-witted. He is usually the last to understand a joke, or an insult for that matter. He panics easily and hates to be alone for long periods of time. As well, he has never done well with silence, and has been known to begin speaking very loudly and very suddenly about nothing at all if he feels it's gotten too quiet. Damien is a very gentle person, though very protective of his friends. His somewhat docile nature can sometimes make him appear weak or afraid, a strange combination what with how strong he is physically. In reality, Damien does possess quite a bit of strength, but he is just a big softy at heart. He wouldn't harm a proverbial fly unless, of course, said fly posed any sort of threat towards those he feels he can call friends.
Other: Damien's body is his own. He shares it with nobody.
((Blegh. I can't decide what I want to do with these characters. I want to put Krael's consciousness in someone else's body, but I don't think I can handle that many characters for one RP. :/

Name: Cole Remur Age: 17 Gender: Male Personality: Cole is a quiet guy, never really saying much. He likes to keep to himself, kind of a 'lone wolf' type of guy. He shares a body with an extremely bossy person, and gets constant headaches from it. Cole tries to keep Zane, his 'visitor', happy and do the things he wants, they are sharing a body, after all, but he can't keep both of them happy all of the time. Other: He shares his body with Zane, though he is ultimately in control.

Name: Zane Winthrop Age: 19 Gender: Male Appearance: - Personality: Zane, unlike his host, is extremely loud and obnoxious. He always says what he thinks and is always judging Cole. When human, he never looked as good as Cole does, and wonders why the man doesn't flaunt his looks off. Why he doesn't get the ladies and such. And believe me, Zane lets the man know. Also, Zane wants a tattoo. That one didn't fly over well with Cole. The two are polar opposites, yet have to share a body. There is nothing that Zane wants more than his own body again. Other: He 'shares' a body with Cole.

Name: Cazio Sanders (Caz) Age: 17 Gender: Female Personality: Caz is extremely sarcastic and doesn't mind hurting a few feelings to get her point across. She's always blunt with what she says and will never sugarcoat anything to spare your feelings. Caz, with a passion, hates taking directions from others, but is too lazy to actually be a leader herself. When push comes to shove, Cazio will only look after herself, even if it means leaving everything else behind her. Oh, and don't get on her bad side... She has quite a feisty temper. Other: She does not share her body with another soul.

Okay. So think of it this way. You've got two people in a car. One's driving and the other is in the passenger seat. The windows are rolled up. The one that's driving calls the shots, decides where they're going and how to interact with others along the way. The one in the passenger seat can't drive, but he can talk to the driver. If the passenger wants to drive, he might ask the driver to let him. The driver could agree and peacefully switch places with the passenger. Or, he might put up s fight and the passenger would struggle to gain control. There is always a passenger present. The other cars don't see him, don't know he's there. Car= body. Driver and passenger= souls.
Tl;dr: Um. The first one, I think. Let me know if that made sense at all. :S))

Personality: Julia is a very rational person. She can control her anger easily, and does not see it fit to fight fire with fire. However, she is easily humored, and her laughter often times seems unecessary, sometimes even rude, even though it is never intentional. She is not afraid to stand up for herself.

Not to poke holes in your RPG but I don't get how more then one soul in body will make less population. Isn't that what C.D.s are for? (And I don't mean the disks.) But then again I don't get a lot of things and most of those thigs are men. Like why is not ok for them to cry?
But I likes your RPG anyways. Its like a RPG for the Multiple Personality Disorder. Wich is good cuz I got some voices in my head that want to be up on post. So can we join, can we?

((To try and explain how this lessens the population: if one body harbors two souls, then the body that formerly belonged to the second soul is now dead. Less bodies= less population.
And men? The ones who don't like to cry in front of others are just trying to be tough. I understand that. I'm the same way, actually.
As for joining the RP, I don't know. I don't think I've ever seen one of your roleplays before. Could you maybe give me some idea as to how literate you are? c:))

Well all right. I'm not to good at this but heres a post I made.
Dragons:Uh dose it say how to kill them?
Yoh:No. That wouldn't be in this book. This dragon book is on what dragons look like and their clans and stuff like that. I would have to look in a nother book.
Dragons:You have books on dragon slaying?!
Yoh:No. My dad has books on dragon slaying. In fact he has even written a few. Heck his even got a big one one the white Eastern Dragons. With pictures. Seems my dad has killed a lot of them. And I mean alot. Huh. I wonder thats why they are extinct?
Dragons:Uh do you know your dad is a dragon slayer?
Yoh:Well yeah. Isn't that why you guys are afraid of him?
Dragons:Yes. Pretty much.
Yoh:You do know he would never kill any of you guys, don't you? I mean it would make me very sad and Ms.S would probably kill him. And my dad is sceard of Ms.Shadow a whole buch. Oops! I'm not supposed to tell anyone that.
Dragons:Really? Of her?
Yoh:Shhhh. Don't tell anyone that.
Dragons:Uh you wuoldn't kill a dragon, would you Yoh?
Yoh:Me? Never. But if my dad ask me to...Well I do, do everything he ask of me. I do love him that much and he is the only parent I got. So yes, I guess.
Dragons:You mean you would kill a dragon?!
Yoh:If my dad ask me to,yes. But I would do it the easy way.
Dragons:Whats the easy way?
Yoh:Here. I'll show you.
Yoh went over and pick up a dragon egg. He held it up to the dragons and then he drop it. It rolled for a bit and stop. The egg was unheard and not crack. (Not all eggs are as soft shell as chicken eggs. This dragon egg wasn't but others can be.)
Yoh:Thats the easy way. Kill a dragon while its still in th egg.
The dragons just look at Yoh, not sure what to think.
I have grow to like dragons. Tell me, do you know spirit1212? I've been RPing with her and haveing a lot of fun with her. Heck she has ask me to Private RP with her. Twice. Don't know why, guess she likes me or something.
