Akane turned to the pup behind her,"Who are you?!"she growled,hearing a pawing noise to her right.She flapped open her wings in a defensive position,ready for any attack from this strange pup. 

"Hey!Hey!Hold it!" Shotoku woofed at the pup."I don't come to kill you!"he barked,startled at the defensive wolf pup."I'm Shotoku.What about you?"he woofed,hoping she would lower her defenses.

"Ugh!Where is that Shotoku!"Sukio woofed to herself,angry for she had let Shotoku slip away again in search for adventure."When I get my paws on that pup I'm going to give him a good wha-"she was stopped by a distant coyote howl and changed her mind."I'll just take him along!No need to kill him!"As she padded along,she noticed a different scent.Who's could this be? she thought,knowing whoever past here was a pup. 

Zane went out to hunt for his sweet one,Ever.He wanted to get something nice for her and smelled some deer a few foxtrots away."Yes!A decent meal in days!"he woofed silently to himself.Zane quietly and swiftly wounded his way through the trees and bushes,which then gave way to a helpless fawn in a small clearing.Where could the mother be? he asked himself,knowing the mom should be close to her fawn anytime."Oh well!Free meal!"he woofed and padded over to the helpless fawn,killing it quickly with a single bite to the neck.

The fawn struggled a bit,but then completely died down.Zane took his prize back to the den to share with Ever.As soon as he got there,he instantly knew he had to go catch some other prey,for he saw Ever digging into it hungrily,and decided to make another catch. 

"Why do you look so....careful?"Shotoku asked Akane,seeing that she turned her head every once a while."I wasn't following you!"he woofed back,"I was just...interested in you,"he sat down and sighed."What do you want?!"he barked as Sukio padded up from cover.

"I've come to take you home,Shotoku!"Sukio woofed over,afraid that the coyotes might come any minute now. 

"No you won't be!"Rain woofed as.suringly."I'll find a way to get you back to normal!"he got up and turned to the entrance,padding towards it quickly."I'll be back,"he woofed to Spirit and started to run in the rain.He took a left and stopped to sniff the air,when he caught a weird scent leading to the lake.What could this be? he thought and ran to the scent,when he heard growling and a snarl behind him.Rain slowly turned his head and found what he was facing was something from a nightmare.

A huge,snarling,shadow-like beast that trailed a long tail faced him with eyes filled with hate and a glint of sadness in them.It was sort of like a reptile,a bit like how Spirit looked like now.Rain knew he would have beat this beast to free Spirit.

Rain ran to the beast with intense speed,the rain summoning his fighting spirit.He growled and bit the savage thing hard on the shoulder,but was flung off."Gah!"the huge thing was running to him with a bleeding shoulder and Rain decided he should make his move.He stood up and jumped out of the way when the thing slammed into the tree where Rain was a few seconds ago.Rain ran to a far spot and leaped back just on time to tear at the thing with his fangs and then,bit the thing hard again on the shoulder.

The beast howled in pain and flung Rain to another tree,this time making Rain flare in anger. He stood up once again,blood making a puddle on the ground from his wounds and nose.The rain intensified and Rain knew he should speed this up and win.He ran the opposite way of the beast and jumped to the side once again,this time hitting the beast on the neck,blood spilling everywhere.Rain was once again flung to another tree,but was able to see the beast die howling in pain and exploding into pieces before falling unconscious below the tree.

"What was that?!"Shotoku glance to his right after hearing howls of pain,"Did you hear that,Akane?"he woofed and ran over the river,past the caves and waterfalls where he ran into a tree and yelped in pain.

"Shotoku!"Sukio woofed and ran after him,afraid he got caught by some rouge wolf and ran faster."Shotoku!"she woofed and padded over to lick her young one."What?!"she growled as she saw the remains of what seemed to be a shadow reptile thing.It was blown to pieces and ahead,she saw a white wolf with some blue markings."Shotoku,are you alright?" 

Spirit stayed the same for a bit. But soon enough, she turned back into a... wolf. Still bearing some draconic features. She ran to Rain. "RAIN!" She screamed, "THERE ARE MORE!!" She yelled. "You most likely just killed the beta! There must be a pack somewhere!" She began crying. "PLEASE!" She ran to him, and cuddled into his side.

"Spirit!"ain barked as he saw her fall and ran to her.Only this time,he had made a mistake,for a pack of ugly,reptile-like,sharp fanged creatures surrounded him and he couldn't escape the nightmare that was coming alive."SPIRIT!"
