That is basically what her personality is. Though since she is older, she is a lot better about keeping her temper and what not.

The 11-year old in the corner of the courtyard played slently with the pendant around her neck. She wondered about this as all around her, her brothers and sisters played. she sighed and stood up, brushing off her black dress, finding it funny that she wore all black when her mother told her she should wear blue because she was the wind.

Chilye, called Chil, ran around in the flowers, dancing and twirling. The swirling pendant around her neck bounced on her throat, causing her playful cries to halt every few seconds. "Boo." a voice whispered, appearing beside the girl two years older than Dusk. she hadn't been invisible, no that was her brother, but she always had been able to sneak around. she had once taken a tart right out from under her mouth's nose when she had been five. The 16-year-old fingered her necklace and then let her hand drop. "Remember when we were that young?" she asked, glancing at Chil...

Deep, forest green eyes shone as Eva watched her siblings, fingers moving quickly and delicately as she worked her gift in the only way she knew for the moment. Darkness circled her in the form of shadows cast by trees, and she took this darkness in her hand and wove it. The weaving itself was no great beauty, but her material of choice made the cloth as rich and soft as crushed velvet. With this she could be as invisible as Xeke, though only at night. Especially on the night of the next full moon. Then she could really test this baby out.

As she sat, weaving her threads of darkness into a most magnificent material and pondering her mother's summons, a familiar shape appeared at her side. The youngest of her siblings stood beside her, partially crouched over her lap. He watched her fingers with careful eyes as blue as sapphires, only seven years of age and already holding the wisdom of the ages. Such a peculiar little boy. "It's very pretty, Evas.sa."

A delicate, melodic voice sounded behind them, filled with laughter. "Surely Seth you aren't calling our beloved Eva pretty? That would be rather silly. For though most call her Beata Virgo, the Beautiful Virgin, pleasing to the eyes she is not." Eva scowled at her brother Leo, though she was met only with laughter and sparkling aquamarine eyes. In a flash it was her own eyes she saw, her one great beauty, shining in their rich color, flecked with amber and gold that flashed in the light.

It was all too easy for Alois to take her shape, and he looked at himself for a moment in appreciation. He strutted and twirled, making a mockery of Eva's dancing with his overexhagerated movements. Still, faced with her own body in this fashion Eva was forced to think about it logically. She was quite the example of irony. As the one named for the star the Beautiful Virgin, she was the least lovely of all her sisters. True, she had a pleasant form, soft in shape, full and ripe. Her face left onlookers wanting, as did her tangles of untameable black hair, though in the sun it shone with brilliant copper. Plump lips and stunning eyes were her greatest gift, and some might argue the unique sunkissed amber-gold of her skin, though all knew it was fair skin that was favored as beautiful.

Havilynde danced aroundin the yard with chil. She soon was tired and stopped to look as an Eva started dancing too. She scoffed when she realized it was her older brother. Alois danced around in Eva's shape. She looked around for her sister. She found her hidden in the forest weaving a beautiful cloth. Havilynde ran up to Eva and reached out her delicate fingers. "It's beautiful Eva" she smiled. Havilynde wasn't as crule as her brothers and sisters to Eva. She hated how they teased her. In Havilyndes eye's Eva was just as beautiful as the rest of them. She didn't get why they teased her about the way she looked.

Benjamin was the same as his sister Havilynde. He didn't like how the rest of his siblings teased Eva. He saw Havilynde running towards the forest and figured that was where Eva was hiding. He smiled to himself and ran after her. His arrow pendant hit his chest every running step he took. He soon caught up with his little sister and nodded in agreement when he heard Havilynde say the cloth Eva was weaving was beautiful. "Yes, it is beautiful Eva. Just as you are." he smiled. He looked at His sister "You are just as beautiful as the rest of us and don't let them tell you different" he told her pinting to Alois and the rest of his brthers and sisters. He had a kind heart as did Havilynde.

Bic: Sam jumped slightly at the voice behind her but soon relaxed. She hated when people did that, especially with her brothers ability to turn invisible and her skill at sneaking. "Yeah, I definitely do." She said, smiling slightly at the memory. "I was a lot meaner back then." 

Eva almost squeaked in surprise at Havilynde's approached, shrugging away from her outstretched with visible unease. In response to the her emotions the darkness with which she worked quivered. Looking down at the cloth in progress she hushed it, stroking her fingers across the tenuous surface. After a moment of silence she returned her attention to her sister. "Uhm, thanks." When Benjamin approached she smiled softly, until he made the comments on her beauty. Gentl- hearted though the two young ones were, they must have been blind to make such comments.

A vibrant blush took over Eva's face, the color not spreading evenly or delicately as it would on softer, clearer, fairer skin. The smile left her features as a sigh left her lips. "Please, young ones. Do not say such things. Our siblings don't tease me. Except for Alois, they simply remind me of the truth of my situation. Don't pity me." Her eyes softened, their sharp fierce beauty out of place on her roughly hewn features. She looked to Alois, who now watched her with sharp indifference that seared her. Carefully she finished the last of the cloth, pulling it around herself to disappear into the shadow of the forest where she could be alone at last.
